My daughter is a teenager and ask for a bull nose ring a couple of years ago. I told her absolutely not. I said when you're eighteen you could do whatever you want with your body. Well it's been a couple years and she's so thankful I didn't let her get it done because she doesn't want it done now.

Well, I've been watching the gradual decline of Christianity, and even just Judeo-Christian ethics since the 1970's, and I've always thought that, regardless of the faults of the Christian churches, if Christianity loses the culture, it will be replaced by something horrible, and that's just what is happening.
It's not really about being gay, it's a kind of rebellious, self-destructive lifestyle, similar to the 70s when many young people joined obscure, dangerous cults...some even set themselves on fire in protest, I sense terrible energies here too.

All parents watch us corrupt ourselves though. Still yes that’s a drastic change in the wrong direction. Why destroy beauty given from God? All but the last one started off so easy to look at and threw it all away to have something extremely unnatural to look at. Why split your tongue? Yes at one time I had a self image problem and thought I was too ugly to be attractive and might as well go ahead and get tattoos and when I run out of canvas move onto more disgusting stuff to do. I’m happy I never ran out of canvas. The piercings came out and closed up. The tattoo’s unfortunately are still there and highly visible and most mean nothing other than I didn’t like my looks and thought pretty pictures could only improve it. They didn’t. Takes God, takes the Holy Spirit to show you the way out. People who know them need to reach out and show them that Christ loves them so much He died so they could join Him when He return for the mellinial reign. And we all get incorruptible bodies. No more self image problems, or tattoos, or disease. We will be perfect forever. They can still turn it all around.
Ugh - my gorgeous son went to college - grew his hair long , pierced his ears and is wearing nail polish. His girl friend has rings on each of the outer corners of her mouth. God help me.

Society has done so much to pay attention to women and ignore men. It left us both empty.
I had a friend who did this to herself. She was absolutely stunning, but her behavior toward men turned them off. With friends, she was otherwise 'normal'. She insisted she was doing nothing wrong. So she fuglied herself up and said "Now there's a reason they don't want me." I 100% believe these people do it for similar reasons.
Some of these women went from gorgeous to nightmarish. This is demonic.

When I see a similarly tattooed, nose-ringed, purple-haired person out in public I simply glance at them with no reaction, then completely ignore their existence. They seem to want some sort of disgust or fear reaction so they can say "oh, yes, see how downtrodden we are because of how we look?". Nah, just ignore them and take that away.

Goth became a trend ,my nephew and niece dressed goth around the time goth was everywhere but they wasn't completely mutilating themselves into identities. Goth is way different than this alphabet trend. How did we go from im gay to im every made up gender under the sun? It used to be you was born gay and I can't change that im guy to im gay, I can be literally anything I want nomatter how insane it is. Which I say go for it if thats what you want but the part of them trying to drive it down our thoughts and our kids is crossing the line ,you do not have the right to discuss adult content with my child without my permission. And we are free people we can accept what these say they are whether we believe them or not but that absolutely does not mean we have to say we support it and that's what pisses these ppl off that they can't force us to talk how they want us to. So they have moved to our children. Trans the kids so when they become adults they will 100% support them in all their craziness and horrible policies.

Society-induced self-loathing
It's sometimes due to finding things too easy to achieve, just from looking pretty and not from being recognised for one's thoughts or intellect. The issue comes when pretty is actively removed permanently before finding out one has no useful thoughts or intellect. I don't think it's men who're encouraging this behaviour.
That's purely the devil destroying anything beautiful made by God.

I detest body piercing. It just looks nasty.
I would bet that the majority of these individuals were either victims of se*ual assault at some point prior. The uglification of their physical appearance is a way to create something different, a shell, or armor of sorts. That will deter better suitors in the future because they now feel wrecked, ruined inside, spoiled goods that nobody decent would accept (in their minds). Baggy and ripped up clothes hide beautiful bodies, or expose them in such a way as to warn decent people to stay away. I say all of this because I went through it myself. I survived repeated assaults, but afterwards nobody could save me from myself but God. I made a home in my heart for Jesus, and his mother Mary became my mother as well. Together, I was healed. God healed my heart and soul, Mary taught me how to be a good woman.
God bless you, Michael. Let’s say a rosary for the healing of the bodies, minds, hearts, and souls of all who are struggling with the pain and loss which comes from se*ual assault.

Before my oldest granddaughter went off to college, I sat her down and told her that if she came back with purple hair, piercings, or pronouns, she wouldn't be able to sit down for a week. Kidding. I expressed the sentiment, but she was already about as anti-woke as an 18 year-old can get. Plus, she's a jock AND she's ravishingly beautiful. She has too much self-respect for this silliness. The funnest part: 90-percent of these people will wake up one day and yell: WHAT DID I DO TO MYSELF? Then they'll die alone, only to be eaten by their cats...

Even if you ignore the superficial changes (hair color and cut, clothing style, makeup, tattoos, piercings) you can see a drastic change. Notice which ones the look in their eyes changes, facial expressions, smile or lack thereof. That will tell you more than the change up in style.
My cousin ended similarly. We were always close, he got a full ride scholarship and would compete in paris and other cities. He was straight, well put together.. then started dating a girl who identified as non-binary. He started getting worse emotionally, would cry more often, complain about the abuse.. but stayed with her and later "came out" as trans and goes by a new name. Dating this person single handedly destroyed his life and appearance, and I haven't seen him genuinely happy in years. He started picking up drugs as well
An utter tragedy, some of these girls were stunning. I dont feel like laughing at them whatsoever, I feel sad and depressed seeing them fall apart from both the outside and the inside.

It looks like cans or bottles that go through a messed up label printer/press. They go in relatively normal, then there are horrible sounds, bumps, and screeching, and they come out discolored and mangled.

This is why temporary tattoos for kids are bad. Everyone praises kid “oooh wow” obligatorily bc cute kid, not knowing they are sowing a seed of a happy memory in the child associated with tattoos. When that child grows up, and wants to feel happy and appreciated, do they seek a tattoo somewhat influenced by that happy childhood feeling? Then when it’s all said and done they look after like that toddler that got into too much trouble with markers on their body. Honey, what did you do with the markers today? did you draw on yourself again? Except sadly, that moment of lack of wisdom leaves a permanent mark of destruction on them. Like bumper stickers deface a car, these tattoos deface humans and make them look uglier.
I'm a Boomer...There has always been the self destructive types...(Drunks, drug addicted, self harming) But; it's reached a whole new level. The self hate has exploded. I've never been so disappointed at what this country has become. As a veteran; I regret serving to see it all turn out like THIS! So glad I didn't have children...

I am of the opinion that some young people feel the pressure of just being “ordinary”, something young people do not want to be. During a time in their lives when figuring out who they are was difficult beforehand, now it’s exacerbated by a steady diet of outrageous. When kids go online everyday and see what garners the most attention, the most “likes”, is it any wonder they keep raising the ante? It must be very difficult for parents these days, since they are being told by schools and the medical profession that to stop children from such a bizarre progression could be causing depression, anxiety and thoughts of a very dark nature.

One of the best things my mom, grandma, and great grandma all taught me was that you should always look presentable wherever you go. Sure things are a bit different now and I do put on sneakers with a skirt occasionally and my hair in a bun from time to time, but I’ve always felt good about looking good. Dressing nice doesn’t have to be fancy. And one hair product can make all the difference. Nothing wrong with some makeup and hair done, it can actually even lift the mood. Sounds shallow maybe but it’s true. There is nothing that feels good about not taking care of yourself. Sure we all have our days, but overall I think it’s for our benefit to take care of our appearances. And our health. Plus it matters how you show up at work, and among people. First impression will always be a thing 🙃

Ironically a good amount of these people grew up in strict religious homes that chastised them for expressing their feelings as child and forcing them to build resentment towards their parents and this is what they do to rebel.

I think the term that is used is 'radical joy', which I think is just the 'joy' felt when transgressing the perceived prison walls that they seem to think make up the entire universe.
