Larry Beale must have passed around giant red F’s before class just in case Ren choked so he could sing a mocking song about it. That’s the kind of planning that gets you the eighth grade science award.
this is exactly how i learned about neil armstrong being the 1st person to go to the moon in 1969 so every time i hear someone talk about neil armstrong i sing this song in my head
I seriously can't believe Christy recreated this so many years later today. I miss my childhood so much. Imagine if she got Ty Hodges to go with the dream sequence.
J F I think they meant the character. Of course the actor memorized the script, but the character himself in the story took her song and dissed her with it.
It's amazing how much dignity this show had, it's not blind nostalgia, not at any moment did this feel cringe worthy, it's less cheesy than any modern Disney channel show and it's a freaking musical episode!
+Kassandra Hawkeye That's So Raven ruined everything. That was the first show to come along in the wake of stuff like Even Stevens to have a laugh track and really broad, over-the-top humor. It was all downhill from there.
+crescentfreshbret When will people understand that shows like Raven and Zack and Cody actually WERE filmed in live studio audiences, they really were. Also, laugh tracks are not a determining factor of a channel being ruined. That's So Raven genuinely was a good show, and so were the others. But I understand if you disagree
+Kobe Busia Yeah, but "live audience" shows are hardly n different from laugh-track shows. They may be using real laughter, but they are still loopingf the laughs and inserting them where they didn't exist.
for years and years i've been singing the "Ren got an F!! Ren got an F~~" part and laughing about it to myself, like a weirdo, but actually decided to look it up.
***** Sweet, awesome, I love that she still looks back on the show fondly. Even Stevens is still one of the best Disney Channel shows ever made, especially due to its comedy. I know it kinda got overshadowed by Lizzie McGuire, but in my opinion, neither of those 2 shows were better than the other. I just feel that Lizzie McGuire was better at being down-to-earth and serious, while Even Stevens was better at comedy. However, that doesn't mean that Even Stevens could never be serious, or that Lizzie McGuire was never funny.
I honestly felt even Stevens showed so much serious lessons. Maybe true not all kids got it, but as an adult I could understand it better. For example with this episode, it's not the end of the world if you miss a deadline or something you may have felt was important. Looking after your health is more valuable :) I just feel overall, even Stevens tried to attract more of a guy audience, and Lizzie maguire a girl audience. But I'm a guy and I did like both shows :)
So when I was young and watching this, I always had to leave before she finished her song, and I never knew how it ended. I feel like I've obtained closure somehow.
I miss this show so much! I remember coming home and watching it after school every day. I do really like some of the shows on Disney now, especially Suite Life, but I miss the "old school Disney" days. Even Stevens, Jett Jackson, So Weird. Now THOSE were the days...
Agree with you 100%! This made me laugh cause it's actually funny, where HSM made me laugh cause it was so bad! I'd love to see all this episode! The 'Ren got an F' bit cracked me up!
For YEARS I've been under the impression that this was a real, legitimate song that was covered on Even Stevens! It was really just something Ren made up on the spot this whole time? No wonder everyone looks at me funny whenever I would ask about it. Anyway, I'm glad I found this song again. It's incredible!
I can almost relate with Ren. Haha, I remember when I was in 8th grade and received my first F ever. How sarcastic my reaction was! I wish Disney would release the series on DVD, not just the movie (which I absolutely like =D). Iunno. Thanks for posting this up! Haha.
I remember first hearing this years back, because I was a fan of the show when I was a child. Like probably everyone else the only line I could really remember was "We went to the moon in 1969." From then on I would hope they would air that episode again, because youtube did exist yet lol. Not sure why but today that line popped in my head and was like osht need to search this on youtube, and wow I found it! finally!
Larry Beale: The black Eddie Haskell LOL. I loved the originality of the dynamic with Ren. Usually her mortal nemesis would be another bookworm girl but to make it a cool black dude was fresh.
*REN GOT A F: THIS HAS TO BE A FIRST. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT SHE MESSED UP SO BADLY. REN GOT A F: THIS IS MY LUCKY DAY. I'M SORRY THAT IT HAD TO END SO SADLY. REN GOT A F! REN GOT A F! (HA HA!) REN GOT A F! REN GOT A F!*
This is tied with: 1. Twitty & Louis' interpretive dance 2. The Stevens family on "Family Fakeout" ...as the funniest parts that ever happened on "Even Stevens". Thanks so much, because TV isn't as decent as it used to be!
omg I was in class and my teacher asked when we went to the moon and it was so awesome remembering a song that was sung when I was like 6 or 5 craziness man.
I love the way Larry Beale just sat in the back the whole time & only got up to talk when it was over. "WAIT A MINUTE, she didn't say anything except *Ren's voice*We went to the moon."
I love the “Ren got an F!” It's so funny.

It’s just an award it’s just an award

this came out about 12 year ago but I still get this song in my head
me too
That's why we're all here. Lol

3:12 Larry's "HA HA!!!" has me weak oh my god it gets me every time
Me too Britt, still so hysterical
I seriously can't believe Christy recreated this so many years later today. I miss my childhood so much.
Imagine if she got Ty Hodges to go with the dream sequence.
Me too.
They made an F outta the F's
Literally all F's given
I love Ren's nervous laugh in the beginning
damn. He brought that shit right back lol. How you gonna take her song and diss her with it? lol
LMAOOO
LMFAO!!
"How you gonna take her song and diss her with it?"
Lol, So he knew how to memorize a script. Bravo.
J F I think they meant the character. Of course the actor memorized the script, but the character himself in the story took her song and dissed her with it.
On god my dude Larry was cold 😂😂😂😂😂
This is how I remembered the moon landing ever since this episode was on TV
HBsongwriter 😂😂😂😂 sameeee
Larry just takes her song and throws it right back at her XD.
+Kassandra Hawkeye Too bad he can't sing.
LadyJuse Still pretty funny though.
"Larry just takes her song and throws it right back at her"
Yes, he's talented at memorizing a script and choreography. Bravo. lol
@@scsi_joe stop hating.

Lol at Louis' face on the moon!
Ik
I met Christy Carlson Romano at the 2015 D23 Expo and actually sang "Ren Got an F" to her!
+Robert KC Cornell Sweet, did she laugh?
+Kobe Busia She actually started singing along midway through the song and applauded when I was done!

She’s gonna be at Florida Supercon this July. So if I go there, I’ll sing that to her! LOL
This song still gets stuck in my head even after all of these years! lol
This song plays in my head when I bullshit my essays.
So when I was young and watching this, I always had to leave before she finished her song, and I never knew how it ended. I feel like I've obtained closure somehow.
2:54 Me during finals.
This is the real Disney.. Best memories of our childhood
At 1:36, we see Shia LaBeouf has let his dreams be more than dreams. He just did it, and made his dreams come true. Way to go, Shia! *pats back*
Louis’s face on the moon was pretty good hahaha
That was brilliant, inspiring, and quite a toe-tapper.
2021. Still kills.

Buzz Aldrin: Houston, we can't make it.
Houston: JUST DO IT
Bravo good sir.
You said it, cadet!
1:58 to 2:30 is why I Christy Carlson Romano would be amazing on 'Dancing with the Stars".
1:36 "JUST DO IT! LAND ON ME!"
Who saw the remake? Plus happy. 50 years to the Apollo Moon Landing!
This was a great show.
after all these years, this song is still stuck somewhere in my head and likes to pop out at random times!
My Astronomy teacher asked my class what year the moon landing was, and I started singing this song. Thank you Even Stevens!
This song is so incredibly amazing! What a pretty tune. xD
When the Disney Channel was worth watching
Agree with you 100%! This made me laugh cause it's actually funny, where HSM made me laugh cause it was so bad! I'd love to see all this episode! The 'Ren got an F' bit cracked me up!
she killed that song... but larry somehow topped it.
you sing this when you're about to BS any assignment.
if this was on a show now, Ren would have gotten a music career after this song
I actually used this song to help me in class today, and I am in college. ;) Got to love Even Stevens! This song will forever be in my memories.
Still cannot get over the fact that Ren is supposed to be in middle school
Whenever i get asked a question about the moon or space i start singing this to myself
Love the song. Loved the show. It's so catchy!!!
This was definitly my favorite song of the entire episode.
50 years later of the famous moon landing!
I’m very proud that this teacher called out Ren from this bullshit and gave her a very deserved F.
For YEARS I've been under the impression that this was a real, legitimate song that was covered on Even Stevens! It was really just something Ren made up on the spot this whole time? The second song had me laughing my ass off.
man i love this song and show and even episode, thanks so much for the upload
This is Diney!!!! This is the only reason I know when we went to the moon lol
This got stuck in my head a few years back, and from then on I always knew when we went to the moon.
This type of thing can only happen in a musical XD
Also, for someone with the flu, Ren sure can sing ^^
I don’t remember this show at all, and yet this song always gets stuck in my head!!!
I LOVE THIS EPISODE!
i miss this show so much.
back when disney was awesome.
It never ceases to amaze me how only 1 sentence can turn into a song.
I MISS THIS SHOW SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bring Even Stevens back!!! D':
I loveee this show!
"The rocket that flew had a really neat design" is my fav line. The choreography is pretty funny too...
this song gets sooooo stuck in my head i can never get rid of it for like a week
omg THANK YOU SO MUCH. i love these two songs.
I am at work, and this song just popped into my head. It was stuck in my head. I HAD to youtube it after that. Hilarious... I miss this show.
Remember when you could watch this without a care in the world
I really hope I'm on a game show and the million dollar question asks when we landed on the moon... I would really like that
Haha if only a million dollar question were that simple...
Raoul Duke And sometimes they are. Just something really trivial
NJA2k8 and suddenly everyone breaks out into this song
I love that they're supposed to be in middle school. Makes it that much better. Plus, the songs are so freaking catchy!
I remember the part when she got an f, I started laughing and singing! I was like 4 at the time.
Ty Hodges is funny
He's also Larry from Don't Look Under the Bed, the scariest Disney Channel Original Movie ever.
This gets stuck in my head randomly.
And I'm soo fucking glad it's on UA-cam.

This came in handy in class. Its kinda sad really. Poor Ren, at least she could sing.
These songs randomly popped into my head the other day so I had to come youtube them. Indications of a great show? I think so lol
I have had bits of it stuck in my head too.
I wish we could all just have a school day where it's just a musical. That would be the best.
Haha I totally forgot about this. I used to love it! I'd listen all the time. It was when Christy Carlson Romano started singing.
