I don't need to understand law in detail, but most of us, especially us who're already working, we have common knowledge on how contract works in real life. And long story short, a contract between two party CAN NOT be terminated just because one party unilaterally stated they terminated the contract.

NJ terminated their contract and yes, looking at it at a legal point of view, they should face consequences. But context is also important. We can't really say that they are automatically bad people or something. These girls also have lawyers and I would like to think that despite being young, they aren't that dumb enough to not know what contracts are and how they work. All I'm saying is that people seem to already have made a judgement on things when nothing is final yet. In my opinion, NJ seem to have blown the "mistreatments" they experienced way out of proportion (from the things we know) but at the same time, they have also exposed how HYBE is as a company (which I'm sure is also how other companies work, afterall they are just a bunch of money-hungry people). I don't need to understand law in detail, but most of us, especially us who're already working, we have common knowledge on how contract works in real life. And long story short, a contract between two party CAN NOT be terminated just because one party unilaterally stated they terminated the contract.

But then they continued on to stating that "they don't want changes, they just want MHJ back being reinstated into CEO position". At this point, they lost my sympathy because they're not declaring their mistreatment issue for themselves, but for a CEO that has been fired. They didn't ask for change, they just want things to stay the way before. That's an entitlement.
And there were many other action that NJ girls did that I think does not align with the working ethic. This is why some people are currently against NJ girls.
