    South Indian food is good for health as less oil is used in it. Idli is cooked in Steam which makes it healthy food.

    Y to make it complicated with idly rava, you can make it with normal rice. Soak rice with urad dal like any other dosa batter, and add ragi in it.

    THIS GUY IS TEACHING WRONG RECIPE. TO MAKE RAGI IDLI YOU DONT NEED TO ADD RICE. JUST SOAK WHOLE RAGI AND URAD DAL, GRIND, FERMENT, AND STEAM IDLIES. THIS IS THE RIGHT METHOD. NOT ADDING RICE OR RICE RAWA

      It isn't wrong...there are different ways to make idli. Even the normal rice idlis are prepared using different methods 🙄🙄🙄😃

      1 cup udad dhal + 2 cup ragi . Soak overnight and grind it to idli pasre consistency. If not fermented keep in fridge for a day and use it.

    Nice and healthy. But if you want to serve this to diabetic or to person suffering from cholesterol, skip adding tempering. I want to you to share my view with all. Each and every states food is delicious and healthy, but our today life style is changing. So make change in meal. Eg:-apply little oil on paratha, thalipeeth. If you disagree with my views, I am sorry. But I think such food can be serve to unhealthy person

      No, you cannot skip idli rawa in this recipe.

      2 cups whole ragi, one cup udad dhal soak together and make batter . Add salt to taste. Allow fermentation. Steam in cooker without weight. Ragi idli is ready.
