Hey! What's up? Hope all's good! So, unfortunately, Now United has been through some changes lately. They used to have 18 members, but by the end of 2022 and beginning of 2023, many of them went solo, kinda splitting the group into two generations. I'll explain more about that soon. Initially, the group was supposed to have just 11 members, but Simon Fuller, you know, the guy behind the Spice Girls, decided to add a few more, so the group started with 14 members:
- Diarra (Senegal)
- Lamar (UK)
- Sabina (Mexico)
- Shivani (India)
- Sofya (Russia)
- Any (Brazil)
- Noah (USA)
- Krystian (China)
- Bailey (Philippines)
- Hina (Japan)
- Heyoon (South Korea)
- Sina (Germany)
- Joalin (Finland)
- Josh (Canada)
Then, in 2020, three new members joined:
- Savannah (Australia)
- Nour (Lebanon)
- Melanie (Ivory Coast)
In 2021, Alex from Spain joined. As I was saying, by the end of 2022 and beginning of 2023, most members left, kicking off the group's second generation. Because many left, especially the Brazilian member (Brazil being the group's biggest fan base), management decided to add two new members to replace the old ones from Brazil and the USA: Desirée 🇧🇷 and Zane 🇺🇸. So now, the second generation includes Desirée, Zane, Nour, Savannah, and Melanie, along with some first-generation members (not as active but still around for shows or trips): Sina, Sofya, and Sabina. Currently, the only active members are Desirée, Nour, Mel, and Savannah. Fans are hoping for more members to join by the end of the year.
