She's currently on world tour with André Rieu and has a full agenda of other requested performances and is working on new material in the studio. The guy on the piano is Toby Gad, co-writer of this song and many more hits. He is creating an album (Piano Diaries) with some of his favorites and is choosing younger, lesser known artists to perform them. There is also a less formal, more pop tempo version of this (the official video). Gad reportedly is enjoying spending time with AJ and they're collaborating on some new material.

She is simply unique and with a wonderful melodic perception. This interpretation (not a cover for me) with one of the authors of the song (Toby Gad) playing the piano, is curative for the your soul and the soft background accompaniment of the piano and cello give her a beautiful silky backdrop, until that wonderful whispered final phrase "... but you are just a boy".💛🧡❤

The more I look at this team the more excited I get. I like many had no idea who Toby Gad is. I learned about him after her first performance with him. Another Powerhouse Writer Producer who has worked with only the best of the Industry past and present. Diane Warren another legend visited with Angelina but little came of it. This is very different than that. Angelina and Toby have declared they are working on original material together that they hinted would be available this fall. We are all of course hoping is the long-awaited Album. Some predictions in the past have failed to materialize as predicted. Let's hope this is not the same. And I've been thinking about the timing which would be brilliant. Many have mentioned a release in September would be late to qualify for this year’s Grammys. What if that is the plan. We already have two Grammy worthy releases with 'If I Were a Boy' and 'Bad Valentine out right now which will be eligible this year. Produced and performed by two powerhouse singer/songwriters/producers in Angelina and Toby. All of the songs on the album would be eligible for the following year's Grammys. At least in this scenario. If one or both songs win a Grammy think about the runway that would have for a Full year and from the very same powerhouse duo. Having already won they will both be well known by then having already won the Grammy(s). All of those new songs from the new album will be eligible for those Grammys. Just to let you know, the other co-writer of the song, BC Jean, was the first to sing the song as well as the person the song came from. The man that she was in love with had just broken up with her. Per Toby, he played it for Beyonce one day and she really wanted to sing and use this song, and the rest you say is history. Angelina and Toby have been working together for a while now and are creating new music for her to sing. They teased a song at a special event called Bad Valentine and it should be coming out within a few months. This collaboration is awesome! This same pair did Patience by Guns & Roses which came out on her channel. I think it's listed on Dan's too. Dan did all the tech work on this one. The Patience video was done by Violet's crew. I think the balance between both artists is better on this video. Dan & Violet don't record at the same time or place. After graduating in Brazil, she studied in England for 5 years before returning to Brazil. Violet travels back and forth to the USA. Not sure if she is living here right now.

Dan Vasc is a great guy with an incredible range of voices and stage presence. He has already worked with several other singers. I think the song from "The Phantom of the Opera" - Nightwish /Andrew Lloyd Webber cover with the singer Dragica is great. Or the song "The Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera is beautiful. Here he sings alone though ♥️.

Elvis didn't believe in this song. It was all part of the act that was Elvis to get the black dollar. They had the white dollar, music was changing, white artists were using black artists. The colonel needed to get in on the act. It did not work. Elvis will only ever the the great white hop for white America.

If you want to be really touched, watch the documentaries "Elvis: A Loving Heart" the one about his kindness, and "200 Cadillacs." He was the kindest, most generous person you will ever hear about!! He was incredibly talented and handsome as anything, but fans loved him mostly for his sweet and giving nature. He gave his everything and died so young.
