Jesus: *respected all women he interacted with, encouraged their growth as people and make positive changes in their lives*
Dale: how about no
I have said this exact thing so many times to my friends and I 100% agree with you!
agree 10000%
abigail hunt sounds like yiu need new friends, they sound like nutjobs
@@fredbarnesjr.1044 I agree with you, but it's mostly my church friends who view things like this. My more loving friends don't view this as correct.
abigail hunt wow you have way more patience than I do my dear I can’t stand being around fundie nuts like that
The two dislikes are from Dale and his wife, but plot twist, he pressed the dislike button for her because she’s a woman and would probably be tempted to hit the like button. 😂
Chelsea Turner this comment gives me life 😂😂
Omg.. there's only one now. He probably saw your comment.😂
hahahaha accurate
Literally made laugh out loud
There's more than 2 now, courtesy of us apostates.
I mean. It's wild that they always go to eve calling us inherently evil. What about Adam? what about his responsibility? He instantly blamed Eve and didn't man up to his actions. if you ask me that's more relevant to todays men than eve does to todays women.
Right! Adam was standing right next to Eve when Satan tempted the both of them. Eve took the fruit then turned and gave it to Adam.
@Scuttlefrog He didn't trust her.He also had the desire in his heart to defy God, but he was too much of a coward. So he was just hanging there, not arguing with serpent, not trying to change Eve's mind.Once she took the fruit, and he saw nothing happened up until that point, he went for it.And he put the whole blame on Eve afterwards.
@Scuttlefrog God told him before to not eat the fruit
@Scuttlefrog God is an immortal entity they are probably neither male or female. And although God made Adam after their self that does not mean that God can't change their appearance or their gender.
100% facts. Adam blatantly blamed Eve. She was seduced and mentally attacked probably for days or months before the incident. And no she didnt eat any actual fruit. Ps Cain is not Adams son. Adam made a choice when he couldve protected his wife.
This makes so sad that women are trapped in this kind of emotional and spiritual abuse.
Used to be me when I was in high school. So glad I removed myself from the church environment and deconstructed my beliefs. The story of Eve being the source of original sin, and that story being used by men to justify controlling women is so damaging. It's torture and abuse.
@Joshua Lopez Oh I've done enough historical research on the dogma and belief system of Christianity that I can for sure point out the glaring pattern of abuse in this religion. The bible has been used by many toxic humans to enact, protect, and justify inhumane acts like war, slavery, homophobia, rape, pedophilia, and more. Brenda beautifully showed an example in this very video of how this particular man uses the Christian bible to justify sexism and misogyny. Talk to more survivors of trauma, especially religious and sexual abuse survivors. You might open yourself up to the possibility that your religion is not only one thing. It's not black or white, good or bad. It's all grey. You can have some good experiences in your religion, but that does not mean that there are not those who are not abused by that same religion. You can't ignore something when there are millions of voices telling similar stories. Read the book Bad Theology Kills by Kevin Garcia. Your belief system contains some harmful stories, statements and messaging and absolutely has caused harm to millions of people, and unfortunately, continues to do so. To pretend that all people who are harmed by toxic Christians don't represent a glaring issue that should be addressed so that the trauma survivors can heal, you're showing how un-Christlike you are. Jesus absolutely cared about those who were abused. He wouldn't look away and pretend it wasn't happening because it wasn't happening to him. Love your neighbor as yourself. That means acknowledging when some of your neighbors were hurt, not saying their hurt doesn't count because you feel fine.
It seemed to me that Dale's wife had trouble looking up from the table before her. Maybe I'm imagining it, but that is how it looked to me.
Forgive ALL
Funny how you assume that’s true for all women.
@@BobBilliamsProductions I speak as Theologian & John 3:3 Born Again kjv. “Equal but different” does sound very similar to “separate but equal”
Exactly
Just triggered so many APUSH memories
@Ramp Shark not all of them don't. Even they have their individual beliefs
I personally consider myself pretty conservative in my views and I tend to say that we are equal but not the same. Not just men and women aren't the same but no two men are the same nor are any 2 women, no 2 people are the same yet we are all equal. Every individual has their own strengths and weaknesses and their own role in society and in the body of christ but we are all still equally valuable. I might be able to take a group and say that collectively as a group there are certain tendencies or averages but the group is not the individual and vice versa.
Heard it for a very fucking long time.
I’m sorry to be that person, but men like this terrify me. As a young woman this kind of thing makes me very paranoid about getting married. This misogyny is what’s wrong with the world. White supremacy, sexism, ect all stem from men who think they are better than everyone else. News flash buddy: you poop, pee, eat, make mistakes ect just like everyone else. You’ll answer God for your actions. That comforts me at least. Edit: Hello people who replied and goodness there’s a lot of you! Just to clear up: 1 I personally identify as straight, for those of you who think my fear is because I’m a “radical feminist” 2 I know both sexes have issues. I was just coming from the perspective of a woman, I believe that men can be abused by women and that we need to erase the social constructs of the man being tuff and women being weak little children. And by the way, men are the ones who originally made that idea. 3: Thank you to all who defended me and also for all the advice on some therapy and things! I personally can’t afford it right now but I will consider it! ❤️
I love what you had to say, but when I first read this I somehow got "news flash buddy: poopoo peepee" and my brain said, "yes, a good argument" but after re-reading it I realized your actual argument was much better lol
True. But all races are capable of abuse. Research the abuse Islamic women suffer.
I share your frustration sometimes. I wonder how am i gonna find a decent logical man that isn't an insecure little sexist man-child when that seems to be the norm? All we can do is hope and not settle for anything less than equility and respect.
@@helixmoore7636 Abrahamic faiths are damaging, this is very true.
Shandra Barnett God will bring you your perfect partner!! I was also terrified because my life calling is ministry. My husband is almost un real! He treats me as his EQUAL and pushes me to lead more and step out in ministry and prophesy and preach. This person is out there for you!
This guy’s theology is so so so bad. He literally is a textbook manipulator. It’s honestly kinda triggering. I wonder what he’d think of St Therese of Lisieux, a doctor of the Church or Hildegard of Bingen who was a composer and literally made up an entire language so the women in her convent didn’t have to speak to men lol.
All these accomplished holy women and all he can do is say that he’s a man and that makes him better.
Sounds like the pride of Lucifer to me.
Genuine question, no shade: do you guys think all evil comes from Satan, or is evil the absence of god? Or you personally I guess. Like when someone does something bad, is it always because of Satan or?
HumanKaleidoscope I believe that there is an actual entity known as Satan or the Enemy. If we believe Jesus, we must believe in an actual entity called Satan, as He spoke about him. Also, if we believe in angels like St Gabriel and St Michael, we also should believe in Lucifer.
We do not know much about angels and demons. We just know that demons hate us and want us to suffer.
I also believe in sin. Satan is the author of sin, so all sin is connected to him, but sin is more like a force than a personal entity. Sin is something we take part in and must be accountable for.
Even in cases of actual demonic possession, “the devil made me do it” is not a valid excuse. There’s divine laws that “chain up” demons-if they had it their way, they’d do much more to us. Demons can’t completely take over the will.
That is the one thing that gives humans power of demons, the one thing demons despise above all else: humanity’s abilities to make choices.
I hope this helps! I’m very into Catholic angelology and demonology! Xoxo
100% true. These so called Bible teachers keep women in spiritual bondage. You might like 10 lies the Church tells women. God made women equal to men.

I feel so bad for the wife. Imagine having a husband that says to you that he has complete control over your body and you can never disagree with him or you are betraying god. I am honestly scared for her safety.
Sounds like he is the type that believes the wife has no right to say no to sex too... very worrying!
This sounds closer to a cult more than actual Christianity. It’s really scary.
Meanwhile ignoring the rest of the SAME VERSE! It goes on saying that in the same sence the woman has control over her husband's body!!! So it's meant for both sides! Imagine what that would mean to all those men thinking rape of your wife is okay... if they ACTUALLY were to belive the bible literally like they claim to do, the woman had the power to say no and veto his 'will' to have sex.
It's so crazy, equality is right there in the bible and yet they just pick what they want...
This hits on a really dark part of my past. My EX- husband repeatedly raped me in my sleep (I was on sleeping medication for insomnia). It took awhile for me to figure it out (bruises, pain, blood etc), but when I did I took it badly and sought help from our pastors. They are great people, but the first question was, "How is your sex life?". REALLY?!?
I then sought out his best friend that I had thought was a man of God and his answer was that my husband had EVERY right to rape me. The two Christian men that helped me were a former pastor of mine and the ex's therapist as well as many women.
Thankfully, I've healed, learned and moved on. Men like this are dangerous. It's insidiously evil and I applaud you for calling it out! I also applaud the men who stand against such behavior and even speak out from the pulpit.
*I'm glad i was smart enough to figure it out, stand up for myself and walk away. Pray for those that have been conditioned to believe this travesty is just. It's time for them to be free of this bondage too!

A female rabbi was recently interviewed, who officiates inter-faith weddings, and was asked about her feminist stance. She said 'For me, justice will always trump tradition. Tradition gets a consideration, but it doesn't get a veto.' If God is good and just, it is truly damning to sentence His daughters to chains in His name. I only came to Christ when I saw a pastor standing with feminists regarding women's liberation. That's Jesus' love. Great, now I'm weeping. What a biblical cliche. Thanks.
That quote from the rabbi is beautiful! Thank you for sharing. Made me tear up too.

It makes me so mad when pastors say that men must be the sole providers for the family, JESUS WAS FINANCIALLY SUPPORTED BY WOMEN. Luke 8:3. It's right there in the Bible, but apparently it's the one verse it's OK not to take literally.
Ugh I JUST read Luke and totally missed that. Thank you.
Good point.
YES GIRL! PREACH! And didn't Jesus LITERALLY tell Mary that she made the right decision by skipping out on kitchen chores to sit at his feet and do Bible study with the boys in Luke 10? But I dunno...my woman brain can't read, so maybe we're wrong.
Also, so much has changed that in most cases that's kind of stupid. With modern technologies homemaking doesn't take as much time as back then, and people can handle their laundry and stuff while also having a job. I guess if she homeschools, I see a use in staying home, otherwise, there's not really a reason to, at least practically nowadays. Back then it was essential.
Another issue is that relying on one person for income is unstable. What if the husband looses his job, becomes ill or dies? If the wife has little to no professional experience and qualification, she could be in a really bad spot, along with the rest of the family.
Also not every man has a job that lets him support a whole family on a decent level. This thinking could bring unnecessary poverty and/or shame.
All i see in the comments is (mostly) women, like you, calling out BS with logic, calmness and biblical context and content, yet men like dale use contradictory arguments and half-assed manipulated verses to justify their sexism without seeing their own fallacies. I think that says something
It was offputting how quickly his wife agreed with him when he said that the woman would hate it.

This man is a legit narcissist. Whenever somebody says, "Don't argue with me" or "Don't fight with me" means either he knows what he is saying is bull, or he doesn't want any opposition to his idea that women are hopeless sheeple to be led by a man. This is the kind of guy who would justify abuse if it meant that the man would be the one leading his wife "in the right direction". I feel bad for his wife; she can't critisize him, or correct him because she's told its not her place. Their realtionship just looks unhealthy. And it doesn't surprise me that he has been caught plagerizing.

I'd be really curious to see what he would say of single women, women married to non-believers, and widows. Are they supposed to NOT read the Bible, Christian books, or listen to Christian pastors and podcasts until they get themselves a Christian man to explain it to them? Cuz HECC NO to that.

Men like Dale makes my *husband* sick. He was mostly raised by his mom and grandma, and sometimes visited his dad in the summer. Men like Dale should make anyone feel ill.

@@Mon3199_ Of course this can happen, very true. I'm very grateful this stat doesn't apply to my husband, or my younger brother (yr and a half younger)!
Susmitha What was the point?
What blew me away in one of the podcast clips was that Dale’s wife was talking about the woman in church who felt the spirit moving in her and truly wanted to say something because of the spirit but she held back because of “the word.” This breaks my heart for that woman because she felt God in her soul and He was calling her to say something important, but she held back in favor of what the church taught her. Imagine how many amazing messages people have missed out on because someone was prevented from speaking and told to rely on others rather than on the Holy Spirit which allows us to connect to God in a personal level. It truly brings tears to my eyes thinking about the spiritual and mental damage being done. I am so grateful to be in a family and church that encourages all people to seek God and help others as they are called.

We are "equal" but we cannot be trusted to comprehend the bible all by ourselves.
We are " equal" but we are easily deceived
We are "equal, but it's shameful for as women to speak in church
We are "equal" but if we have a question, we must ask our husbands at home.

@Scuttlefrog So, just be happy in your second class status then?
@Scuttlefrog Because its a form of slavery, dehumanizing, and antithetical to equality.
@Scuttlefrog So because men desire women, that makes them unequal? What ass did you pull that out of? Women desire men too, that suddenly doesn't devalue men because of that. And this might be shocking to you, but mutual respect of all partners leads to good sex for all. period.

@@morgansong2456 I didn't know snakes were so powerful
The_Polish_Prince Well I’m playing off of his biblical literalism, he believes that the snake was possessed by satan himself. So by that logic, Adam is still the weaker one. Lol
Just based on that first comment about tempting eve instead of Adam, as someone who grew up with Muslims I can say that in the Holy Quran, both Adam and Eve are temped are the same time. It’s only the Christian text where it’s Eve.
Kat Lennon actually in the Christian text they both are tempted if you use the Hebrew text. English translations has been mistranslated to make it only Eves fault.
Bo wow I had no idea! Thank you for sharing that information. The history of these holy texts is quite fascinating for sure.
Kat Lennon you’re welcome. I’m of the belief that if you want to understand religious practice and theological or philosophical principles you have to study it from different lenses. Including a literary, mythological, sociological, and psychological perspectives. You should learn about history, archeology, and cross cultural comparison. I find it fascinating that many of the stories of genesis are response to other cultures in the Mesopotamia region. Compare the Noah flood story to the story Gilgamesh one of the oldest Sumerian stories. Fascinating stuff. I feel bad for literalist as they are missing some truly eye opening stuff.
Also, in jewish folklore adam's first wive was lilith, but they fought constantly and adam wanted tobe on top during sex but so wanted lilith because of the dominance and then lilith went. Then god/jaweh created animals and brought them to adam but they didn't suit, so god created eve. So if the apple resembled sex, which is something I was taught, adam might have done it before eve 😅
Kiki R yeah, if I’m correct that began in medieval time period as away to explain away some biblical inconsistencies about the various genesis origin studies. I am very team Lilith. 👏🏽
I don't think even men who literally lived in biblical times would say this kind of nonsense. Does he honestly think Abraham or Isaac or Jacob or anyone would be insecure enough to say that their wife (or wives) couldn't ever learn anything about scripture except feom them?
I love how powerful this woman is 😍 Valentine has a great mom
It’s so weird how anyone would treat the male gender as something infallible and perfect, as though there hasn’t been male rulers who were greedy, corrupt, and bloodthirsty throughout history. Likewise, there are so many great female Christians in history like Mother Teresa and Joan of Arc who did not need a husband to dictate their faith. You can become corrupt and live ignorantly regardless of gender. If men were so perfect, Adam wouldn’t have eaten the apple. These kinds of guys would probably mansplain the Bible to Mother Teresa if given the chance. 🤦

“She was being obedient to the Word and sat there in silence.” - 😳 that is literally the most “The Handmaid’s Tale” like statement I have ever heard.
I’m ashamed to share a state with this man. As much as I dislike the electoral college, I do draw some comfort from the fact that his vote in the general election won’t make a real difference.
I wanna point out- Eve was created from Adam’s RIB.... if we were to stand in the spot where we “came from”.... positionally, that puts us side by side with men. God did that on purpose. We didn’t come out of men’s feet to be stomped on, or out of their skull to lord over them, we came out of men’s SIDE to walk WITH them. A married couple is to be a TEAM. Also, since we become “one” when we get married, that means you equally share in the whole of the “one” that you both make.... if that makes sense. I’m married, we’re both strong Christians, and my husband values my wisdom and input, and I respect his judgement. There are times that I feel God telling me to let my husband lead. There are also times that I feel that I need to speak up because what my husband says doesn’t resonate with my spirit. Ultimately, you’re working together to interpret what God is leading you BOTH to do - individually and as a couple. God is ultimately supposed to be the head of a marriage.
I agree. I remember a question posted somewhere where it was asked if women were equal, and you put more or less what the answer was. We did not come from the foot to be trampled on. We did not come from the head to be above him. We came from the side to be equals.

Dale: "man was created first"
Jesus: "first shall come last"
I got so excited when I saw that this video was sponsored! Get that bread, Brenda
Someone get Jimmy Snow on this dude.
I would love to see that
Hell yeah!
I only started watching Brenda because of Jimmy. And even though I'm an atheist myself, I love her viewpoints and her insights.
Her kind of theism lifts people up which is truly lovely. Too many people in general put others down, sadly.
Oh poor widdle me, this book has lots of big words. I don't know how I'll ever read it all by myself. I need a man to help me understand. My tiny brain can't take it.
He sounds like a male version of the Transformed Wife 😂
I thought the male version of 'the Transformed (rape apologist) wife was Jessie Lee Peterson. lol
It blows my mind that ANY woman would marry a man like that! It‘s so sad!
I’m no longer christian but your actual Christianity and the love you radiate is amazing. I wish more Christians were like you. I actually have CPTSD from growing up in my church. Thank you for showing they’re not all the same.
The phrase “separate but equal” (very similar to “different but equal”) was verbiage used in Jim Crow laws to legalize the segregation of black Americans before the Civil Rights movement. Very eerie connection.
His whole vibe is having a fragile ego that needs a woman to submit to him in order to feel confident.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think Different but equal is the same phrase segregationists used to justify their position.
All straight facts. You also articulated everything so clearly. Great video. I had tried to listen to his podcast ONCE, I had just gotten into podcast and subscribed to a string of christian ones to try out. Months ago I was in the car and the episode of his came on and the first words were along the lines of "does the Bible allow oral sex?" and I was like nope I'm not about to listen to a podcast about this lol
I’m so sad for this wife. Maybe she respects her husband and is trying to be the fundamentalists view of a good wife, but I’m sure she’s dying inside. Because any woman who is the oppressed cannot truly be satisfied in that type of relationship ahhh.
I'm so overwhelmed I don't know where to start. All I can say is Brenda, I LOVE YOU! I'm so grateful for your channel
I love your look in this! So bad ass
The thing about the garden of eden story, it says eve ate of the fruit and gave it also to her husband who was WITH HER! Adam was right there the whole time, and didn't do his godly duty of protecting her from the snake that was talking in front of BOTH of them.
To quote Terry Pratchett “We do right. We don’t do nice.”
Thank you for the commentary Brenda, it was very well thought out. Stay safe and healthy ❤
I believe I can give some satisfying answers for this situation:
Paul entrusted Phoebe to deliver one of the most important letters in the NT. If he hated women, he would not have done such a thing.
"Helper" is a terrible translation of ezer kenegdo. The best way to translate it would be "life saver."--Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge.
Also, how about the woman at the well who Jesus treated with respect? Her name was St. Photini, and she ended up fearlessly confronting evil Emperor Nero. Her story is incredible, but we don't hear about her.
Dale is taking some of Paul's statements out of context. Paul was correcting women who were interrupting the sermon and who otherwise were too new in the faith to instruct anyone. Also, some of Paul's statements could be considered radical feminism for the 1st century because he stated that women were not to be restricted from learning with the men. This is radical because many men back in the 1st century believed that it was a waste of time to teach women.
Finally, let's remember Ephesians 5:25: "Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." Jesus loved the church so much that He died for it. Would Dale be willing to lay down his life for his wife? Or would he be more likely to allow her to give up her life for him?
A prolific sexist fundamentalist follower of The Transformed Wife's Facebook page said that "Not all women deserve respect" and went on a long tirade about how Jesus didn't actually respect St. Photini, since respect is "A feeling of great admiration and honor." He even pulled up a screenshot of the Google definition of the word 'respect' and everything.
@@alexism.v.1016 How sad. That's not what Jesus taught at all.
@@melanieridge1424 4 or so women - followers of the page - said just that and he doubled down. My biggest issue with The Transformed Wife is that her page emboldens sexist, controlling men.
"Dale. Plagiarizing MLK because it was God's idea is the most colonizing bs I've ever head in my life." LEGEND
Love you Brenda!!
Totally off topic but the aesthetic of the background and your shirt color is beautiful
"I'm not sexist I just think that women are inherently weak and unintelligent and need constant guidance but that doesn't make me sexist"
Yes it's true. Sorry are you trying to make a point?
@@AJ-cv9zf if you want me to take the bait then you're gonna have to do a better job than that 😂
“Equal but different” sounds very similar to “separate but equal”. It’s also a principal of Orthodox Judaism, which has never sat well with me.
That's just what I was thinking! (Minus the Orthodox Judaism, which is something I know very little about.) Every time someone in the video said, "Equal but different," whether they agreed with it or not, reminded me of every time we learned about segregation, Plessy v. Ferguson, and Brown v. Board of Education in school. It's not so surprising to me, then, that some churches (not mine, and I am grateful!) use "equal but different" to discuss race as well. :/
Deborah Karp also that is what caused segregation
Mattie McCarthy yes that was the thought
I had to pause this multiple times because Dale Partridge’s “ministry” makes me sick. It sounds like he wants an excuse to control women.
Oh my... stuff like this is scary. Thank you for standing up for Christian women and always presenting us with a logical, modern, tolerant and progressive ideas.
Always remember: Eve was tricked by the devil. Adam was tricked by a regular, younger woman. My sunday school teacher always told us that haha
Edit: Just realized that she said the exact same thing in the video nevermind
Yeah...reason number 1 I left Christianity. Rampant sexism. And before people say #notallchristains I know. The history and theology of Christianity is complex and changes depending on time and denomination. But...Christianity has a long history of sexism, colonialism, imperialism, homophobia...etc. I’m not saying it can’t change but if people don’t address the bad theology and willing to get rid of some of that bad theology of the Bible I’m not sure if Christianity can adapt in the long run. I like Brenda and others who are trying to start another reformation but I’m not going lie when I am not as hopeful. The other side has the power and money...they won’t give that up easily.
I was almost in a cult, and watching how the woman’s husband interacts with her and how she reads the passages and parrots the same messages he teaches reminds me SO MUCH of the cult - I can spot it a million miles away, her thought process has been changed by psychological abuse and programming, regardless of if she feels “happy” or not.
Unfortunately my bf is likely to fall for this kinda thinking 😔 I love him but his stubbornness to seeing how the Bible has and can be manipulated is aggravating. And though he's been my friend for years I'm prepared to have to leave no matter the circumstance. I'm not meant to be told what to do.
Edit
What I meant by this is that I can't stand living under strict rules. I come from a "strict" family (more like I wasn't allowed to go out and live life like a teenager because my stepdad assumed I was up to no good when I was 11-12 years old.)
So I already don't like being told how I should present myself. My bf is used to a stricter environment. We're still getting used to each other's habits.
Run while you still can!
Yeah I believe it's best to leave earlier rather than later. You deserve better and can have a man that aligns with your values
@@LipSyncLover I know I know. It's just that he may be stubborn I feel that there might be some hope. And it not like he's blatantly like the man in the video... It's just that he strongly believes that people cannot use the Bible for evil. While I'm aware it can be manipulated for anyone's benefit if they so chose to have an ulterior motive.
@@ImaginaryMdA 😅🤣
My sister says the same thing.... I'm just holding onto hope for change. Because I used to think the Bible was useless. Now I still like it's useful for the people that it helps. I'm not one of those people I'm more... Personal experience kind of person. But I know it's got some good points and bad points😩 I'm still on the fence about it tbh
@@stardevilbunny1187 This is not about your religion, this is about your safety. You know, in your heart of hearts, he won't change.
You better drag him ma’am 😍
I want to point out a few things in Paradise Lost (which I realize is technically Bible fanfiction, but bear with me):
1) Satan doesn't really target either person. He simply wanted one of them by themselves. Eve just happened to be the one he could get.
2) Eve was the only one actually deceived in any way. Adam knowingly and voluntarily ate.
3) The way Satan got to Eve was by complimenting her on her godliness.
I'm not really sure if there was a point to this comment. I just find it interesting that Milton interpreted the story this way.
I feel bad for this woman who is with him...You have power and you don’t need a man who speaks for you. God does NOT see men as superior to women. We are all equal parts of God.
I love you brends🎤(in my loudest 🔊 voice) I had a stomach upset just listening to this man. Thank Jesus 🙏 for you. Xoxo ❤️❤️
Did you say Ricky Martin? The (incredibly awesome) gay singer who lives with his husband and children?
11:35-12:05 was so brutal and I love you so much for it Brenda
This dude pissed off the Luna Lovegood of Christian UA-cam.
Hey Brenda, I’m trying to understand how and why Christians believe the Bible. Do you think that would be a video you could be interested in? I’d really love to hear your ideas on this, since I love most of your ideas on all sorts of things. Also, if not, does anyone have any suggestions of places for me to learn about this?
Robert Johnson Christians read it because it’s God’s Holy Word
Jack R That doesn’t really help me much, just pushes the question back so now I have to ask how they know it’s from God? Though I do appreciate your reply
@@bariumselenided5152 Sorry I now this is a late comment but, we ( as in most Christians) believe it is the inspired word of god as in the bible is a collection of books written about people experiences with the divine. A youtube channel called " the bible project" has a video called "what is the bible" that should help some . A book I would recommend reading is " The rise and fall of the bible" it's helpful in understanding the bible's history in terms of it's application in ancient times and modern times.
Also, woman, you do that RESEARCH so sharply and refreshingly, it's SO sweet. As a wiser woman before me said 'Never confuse the voice of God with the voice of your pastor!' I also love how 'men of God' will say 'It's a PRIVILEGE for women to stay at home and have babies... wouldn't want to have to deal with men's cultivation of private property and agriculture yourself, would you?' but when we try to lift that burden off of them, they take such issue with it. Like, 'Which one do you want??' I love your analysis of the enemy (obviously male as well). Thank you thank you thank you!
So grateful for pastors and leaders who see women as their equal and encourage women to get an education, work and follow the call of God.
Dale is the kind of person who would promote Gilead in The Handmaid's Tale
How is this guy married? If someone talked to me like that, I wouldn’t even consider dating them.
Thank you so much for spreading love and standing up for yourself, you are so inspiring ❤❤❤
Wow. Motherhood suits you, you are glowing. I gave birth to my second baby 4 weeks ago and I got myself some of those period panties for the postpartum period (didn’t have them the first time around) and WOW! Revolutionary, amazing, freeing, love them.
I would love for you to do a relationship video! I have a tendency when debating with my boyfriend to “bulldoze” and only after the fact realize maybe I should have taken a breath and a step back, so a video on that would be awesome!
You are such an amazing human!
