My father was a Veteran; and, he was in and out of the Veteran's Hospital until he died. When he returned from one of his hospital stays, he had a little gold colored plastic tub (it had some of his belongings inside it). Mother sat that little tub on top of the washing machine. Mom's little cat moved into that little tub right away. Daddy told us the nurse used that little tub to give him his bath everyday (when he was bed ridden). That little cat slept in that tub everyday; and, she died in it. Mom buried the cat in the little plastic tub (somewhere in her huge flower garden). A little puffed quilt would have made a perfect little bed inside inside that little plastic tub. Your quilt is beautiful.
Such a cool effect with the "hills and valleys"! Great job.
Thanks a lot! I appreciate it.
I love to make things that are unique. Those colors are so gorgeous. What a fun project!!
Thank you so much! I agree. I fell in love with those rich colors!

That’s is a lovely story. Thank you for sharing and for watching.
I've never seen one. I'll have to make one.
They are fun to make and do warm! Thanks for watching!
Love this. I did something like this with 2 layer cakes (50 sqs) or 5 sqs by 5 sqs (25 sqs pers side) and gave it to my mom and she loves it.
That’s a good use for layer cakes. I’m loving how cozy this quilt is!
I made a puff quilt for my son before he was born 29 years ago! Regret getting rid of it😢.your quilt is nice!
It’s time to make another one. Thanks for watching and I appreciate your kind comments!
Do you have a tutorial on the larger quilt???
Unfortunately I do not. Basically the puffs and flats are in groups if 4 and then I hand tied it . Thanks for watching!
