Great review. Thanks for sharing. We’ve been considering a T8 for my wife and this sounds quite inline with what to a expect at this price point. Seems like a good bang of buck even with issues.
I'm torn between the t8 or the n9🤔. I'm looking for a tado it all bike. Not sure which would b best for a local bike ride and then a bike park on the weekends🤔
Good review. Thanks for the updates on the rear shock. I'll try the .8 spacer. The front fork definitely needed spacers too. It's super plush stock just like the shock but any jumps and you need at least 2. I've been good with the brakes with longer fingers. The dropper lever I really had to position right and wear it in before I was okay with it. Did get a 50mm stem because like you said it feels like the bars are low and for me at the top end of the medium range they felt close. The stem and playing with handlebar rotation helped a ton. I still have my seat way back and it feels great. You're right the tires are awesome and yeah it's hard to clean😅
Hey Mike, i'm thinking of getting a 50mm stem as well for my t8, cockpit feels a bit too crowded. Did the 50mm help a lot? my seat too is all the way back at the moment
@@ianem5134 helped a ton. Now bars don't hit my knees on turns. I went out today on the roads simply trying tight turns, quick movements and it was way way more nimble.
Thanks Mike! I forgot to mention but I actually did throw 2 spacers in the fork and I’m running 20% sag and haven’t had problems. The dropper lever definitely needed to be adjusted from stock for me, the cable arrived very slack, tightening that up and repositioning the lever made it feel like a whole new post.
I got the 2021 T7. I upgraded the fork fairly quickly but I probably didn’t need to. Been pretty happy with it. I agree on brakes. Will probably upgrade those eventually. I have a different rear shock but I also have been wanting to add volume spacer. Nice video. Thanks for sharing
I have a premier 4 with those tektro brakes and its the same deal. They always stop me, and I'm a big guy, but sometimes they feel like they won't. Otherwise I'm very happy with the my Polygon purchase. I plan on upgrading early next year and your video helped me make up my mind. Thanks!!

Only thing I would have liked to seen is a set of Shimano 4 piston brakes either Deore or SLX. I would have paid another hundred for that. First
Thank you for the great and honest review. I am planning to buy one but I am torn between this bike and the stumpjumper alloy comp ( with fox suspension and sram nx drivetrain). I live in the middle east, so considering the shipment of Siskiu T8 the price difference between the two bikes is around USD 300. What can you advise on which bike should I buy? Thanks.
@@MidWestMTB Thanks bro. The total cost of buying Siskiu T8 here in Dubai would be USD 3100 (including shipping, duties/taxes). I'll take your advise and buy the stumpjumper comp alloy.

Thanks for the video. I’m torn between the T8 and Stumpy Alloy. The price is pretty much same but T8 is better value for money. The only thing I’m worried about is the LBS support. What are your thoughts?
That makes sense. I went ahead and pulled a trigger on the T8 couple of days ago, it’ll be here end of May. Thank you for your review, it’s a part of my decision making process.
It came down to the T7 and the Stumpy Alloy for me. In the end I purchased the T7 as in my opinion has a better drivetrain in the Shimano Deore where the Stumpy comes with the SX SRAM.

Far from it, the linkage is a beast climber, its what a LOT of companies use in their trail bikes. Going from a full "enduro" bike to this thing makes the climbs feel effortless.
How tall are you, im 178cm and dont believe the guide saying Large, 480reach seems too long for me, the medium is 460, thats the same as a Spectral 125 in Medium and Canyon recommend that length for a 178cm
I'm at 172cm the medium fit really well. The reach didn't feel too long, compared to my Transition Sentinel which has a 450 reach the Polygon felt much smaller under me oddly enough.
Looks like the vander is more geared towards the descents. Its longer and slacker and they dont list weight but I'm assuming heavier. If you live in an area with gnarly downhills I'd go the the N7. I cant tell you how good it'll pedal or ride but it looks solid!
