I have the superman RPHA 11, doesn’t seem to be hjc smart ready, for the communication

That is only carbon versions, non-carbon versions just have speaker cutouts

looking at getting the sonic edition, at 22 3/4in or 57.785cm should I go medium or large?

The RPHA 11 runs tight. It's likely you'll prefer a Large, unless you're only using it on the track and you want a race fit - in that case we'd recommend sticking with Medium.
