When you travel, nobody knows you and nobody has any preconceived ideas of you based on past behaviour. Therefore you have a blank canvas on which to display different sides of yourself, without others trying to pull you into an idea they have of you based on what they have seen of you previously. You can actually do anything you want, change your accent even and people will believe it. It teaches you a lot about yourself as well as how others see you and make judgments on you. Travelling wakes you up to reality, more than anything!! It’s been a pleasure watching you grow sister. You make me want to travel again! Much love ❤️
I've joined this journey about a year ago and since then your videos are part of my life. I have great respect for people who choose this lifestyle. Your overall positivity, sense of humor and the fact that you don't hide that it is not always as easy and you talk about your struggles in the videos are huge part of why your journey is so captivating.

I've been watching for a year and a half. When I discovered your videos, I was barely even hanging on by a thread.. I couldn't withstand my mental struggles and loneliness anymore. But then I came across your videos somehow, and suddenly, even with alllll the chaos in my life at the time, I began looking forward to each Friday because I knew you would release a new video. And before I knew it, a month had passed. Then two months had passed. And now look! I'm still here! And I have dreams! And I'm reconnecting with people! And I'm reconnecting with myself.

i think i discovered your channel in the winter of 2022. I was going through the worst time of my life & really started looking into alternative ways of life & came across van life & no joke binged this stuff for a month straight. I never pulled the trigger to get into it myself but it is something that I have thought about for so long now & feel it could possibly fix all the issues i currently have in my life. I guess i'm just afraid to leave my current life behind but i know i have to eventually. So watching these videos gives me inspiration to pursue the life i really want to live & one day take that leap of faith towards friendship, community & freedom.

I am a recent viewer, and very captivated by such a lovely, earthy, avant garde young woman traveling Europe and living in her fun, lavishly decorated van. You definitely cheer up my days! I enjoy seeing those beautiful places you travel to.
I traveled for two weeks on my new BMW MC through Europe, England & Scotland back in '76 while stationed at old RAF Upper Heyford.

It would be so healthy for all of us to have videos of our self to look back on and see that we have changed and we have grown. And we are still surviving.
I started watching your videos with my hubby only a couple of months ago! We've been watching multiple episodes at a time to catch up to present day. We both love who you are as a person and all that you are doing! Your love for St. Tropez is priceless! I love all your honest trials and tribulations, your adventures, your parents (glad your mom is okay btw) personal discoveries, GIGI (such a $hit disturber lol), and personally, my favourite: your chandelier!! I can't believe it's been 2 years, I was seriously going to consider van life and was searching for builds and came across you and the way you made the vids and edits and everything just was real and yea totally totally enjoyed your journey (I had other life situations that stopped me with van life) but it's truly been an absolute pleasure travelling with you for this time and tbh I'd actually miss you if you stopped.. also merch I was hoping for and as soon as the calendar was announced I instantly ordered and it sits proudly in my kitchen.. so yea you've totally been amazing company in my home.. I came across this page about a year ago. It was about this time last year when my mom started having health problems and she got worse as the year went on. She is doing a lot better now. But when she was not doing so well I was so stressed out and the only thing I had to look forward to was your latest video to come out. I've been watching over a year. I'm scheduled for sixty hours this week,and I didn't even know what day it was until I got home then turned the TV on. My favorite part is when you show the views out of the back of the van. It would cost me thousands to get there and back. Plus Ame is there it's great. Your hair looks great.

When you visited Bardot's place is when I first started watching. Your dress caught my attention so I watched. I'd worn similar back in the 1980s when I had a fashion model's body, I had a huge collection of '50s, '60s, and '70s clothing I'd found in Upper East Side (NYC) second hand shops then modified to be my own. In 1979 I made a sort of name for myself when I took a 1978 Halston maxi dress, and modified it to be appropriate for dancing. Halston even liked it. After that it became known I was either wearing next season's clothes, or vintage ones I modified to be my own.
You helped me get through a whole 18 months whilst I was in prison on my hidden phone so thank you 🙏 I am out now though but your videos gave me something to look forward to

It hasn’t been quit two years, but not far off, you did not have many subscribers yet. I was researching van builds and how people lived/worked to finance the lifestyle. As I had a life change which I am still struggling through. You have brought more to me than I could ever express. In a world which gives me little reason to smile, that is the one thing every video you have posted has given me. Maybe because, me being in the USA, you show a different perspective that what is common here. I had the luxury of living in Europe as a child and doing some family traveling while we were there. Returning to the US was a life changing experience, which has had lasting effects for the last 40+ years. Thank you for sharing your adventure Ame, I am truly grateful. Luv you dear. I have found your channel only recently, so this review was absolutely captivating! There are 101 solo female in a van vlogs but yours is by far the best I have come across. You have clearly come such a long way in your own personal development and you truly deserve to be proud of what you have achieved. I am almost finished my own DIY van build and altho' I am not intending to do full-time van life to start with, that day may yet come.
