This song reminds me of Evil Angel only because of the part of being afraid to be left alone. This song is like a plea to not be left alone. Someone tells you they will never leave you and then they do. Evil Angel told the story of fake friends, or someone who pretended to be there for you. I guess the major similarity is the main person is so afraid to be left alone. Losing people can make us feel very "Hollow"

With all this, one can only classify them as mainstream, but the word "alternative" refers to the genre's distinction from mainstream rock music. Therefore, the band in general is not exactly alternative. Now one could argue some of their songs are on the alternative side.
