My 16 year old self would be glad to know that the hours and hours of listening to B.B albums in their entirety was something I never abandoned. I'm just fortunate now that I'm in my thirties driving an hour twice a day to work to and from work - I'm able to still do that only with more amazing songs. I Don't know what I would've done throughout my life without these guys helping me a long the way! I only hope that my 5 month old will find everything that I've found in them! Thanks for reading

as someone recently diagnosed with both of those disorders as well as ptsd, i used to listen to breaking benjamin about 9 or 10 years ago. coming back to their music has been a crazy experience, i used to listen to music for the breakdowns. now the messages under the songs are much more prevalent to me. anyone suffering from trauma, stress, not loving who you are, you are worth every single breath your lungs take in. triumph over tragedy!

This is definitely one of their best songs, also their most haunting. If you pay close attention to the lyrics, it's almost like it's about someone fighting a battle with a disease that they can't win. Well, that's my take on it anyway.

Seriously, that is such an apt description of what happens when I listen to their music. The lyrics, the music, - it's all so emotional that you just get pulled into whatever they're singing/playing and just lose yourself. When the song's over, you feel like you've been through a journey.

I'm only 14, but I've been listening to Breaking Benjamin for as long as I can remember. Helped me get through some grieving times, well now that I think about it. It really didn't help much, that was just my excuse for listening to depressing music at the time. The truth is it made it harder to get over death, like my dad and uncle's😔

Yea this band is truly amazing, gets you right there in your feels. They've helped me too, along with Staind, 3 days grace, puddle of mudd and many other bands. I had depression when I was younger, and had started when I lost my mother at 14. I started to get anxiety shortly after her passing as well. I definitely felt lost without her and like I didn't get to talk more with her and build more of a connection, it still hurts to this day. I'll never fully heal, but eventually you learn to cope, like us all, life doesn't stop for us and just tell yourself everyday that you can do anything, to stay strong and that your loved one is still there for you, even though it's in a different way, they love you and want you to grow and live your life to the fullest 😊

Why do people always have to be so hateful? Breaking Benjamin is a fantastic band. Can't anyone share on their similar love for this band instead of ridicule and stab each other with words? Yes, this person made obvious mistakes; but that is exactly what they are, mistakes. No one is perfect. Not one person. :) And that is a great thing because if we were perfect, we would all be incredibly boring. If a person knows the lyrics why go crazy because of a couple of mistakes? Everyone makes them. I am not trying to start a virtual fight outbreak. I am just speaking my mind. But either way it goes, Breaking Benjamin will always be a favorite of mine. I am very impressed at their new album. After being away for a while and nothing has changed. Same great sound! Same great chills! I love you guys! Keep it up!

I was half asleep when I listened to this last. I had a dream of a serial killer stalking his victims before strangling them and leaving their bodies. I don't know exactly why, but I always imagined this song in relation to the serpent in the Garden of Eden. In particular, it makes me think of some time after being expelled from the garden, where regret is burning up everyone, including the serpent. But maybe that's just me.

Hes an extremely talented writer. You can take any of his songs and relate it to almost any situation. Theres people who say they're a Christian band, people who dont agree, I'm an ex heroin addict and to me it's all about a fight with addiction and his inner self like you had described all cuz of the way he writes his lyircs. They're soooooooo underrated. The lyrics in all their songs can be interpreted in a shit load of different ways and make perfect sense whichever way you go with it.
Like almost all their songs people think hes talking about a girl and the way I see it it's never about a girl it's always him battling himself. In my eyes it's his addicted mind vs his sober mind which I relate to this way of seeing it. It's crazy how many people have different thoughts of what they might mean but I believe he writes it that way on purpose so he can touch everyone possible however they need to see it. It's amazing hands down my favorite band since I was like 10 and I'm 27 now

The love of my life. The one I waited years for and prayed to find left me on new years day. We had such a strong love.. she was my best friend. And all I had in this world. So many beautiful memories. The best 4 years of life by far. I still cry everyday. I loved her with all of my heart and soul. She was everything to me..she grew distant our last couple months...Valentines day she told me she's been talking to someone else. And that she was falling for him. I pray she finds someone who will love her as much as I did and still do. I wish she knew how broken I am. But we don't talk anymore. It was my mistake loving her more than I do myself. There was a time she was so infatuated and deeply in love with me.. I begged her to stay..like she once did me, I never once imagined life without her. I don't want to live anymore. I'm writing this because I don't have anyone else to pour my soul out to. I always did right by her. Even now...I still admire her and her beautiful soul. Maybe God did this for a reason.
