Didn't care for it when I first heard it, then I listened to it again and again and again and again. Now I love it. Breaking Benjamin btw is one of the best bands I have ever seen live they sound the same live as they do in a studio recording.
Seriously feel like my life is at a standstill. I’ve been so chill calm and happy. Even after my two and half year relationship ended I got a new job and honestly i can’t stand trying to be happy anymore. I can’t try to be happy anymore! I was listening to stupid mainstream music then started listening to rap for my anger. I am at home with these guys. . Worst part is I don’t feel a depression coming - it’s literally as if I can feel my humanity slipping away from me as I freeze over with numbness. Legit this song is everything right now to me.

Such an amazing song! When I first saw Ben in the music vid I didn't believe it was him! Then I relized that it had been a while! But still when I first heard it is thought of a lot of things: zombies, depression, war, drugs, suicide, relationships, fights, aliens, so forth. But it's about a guy who lost his daughter and his friend was apparently an accomplice to the crime but the guy figured this out after he sold his soul to find out who did it and he's now a demon! So he beats the shit out of his friend and drags him to the same river his daughter was drowned in to give him the same fate as his daughter but his daughters angel rises from the river and stops him. They reach for each other but it's the power of an angel vs the power of a demon so the guy disintegrates. Now's the time to play the anthem of the angels! If you don't get the joke then look up the anthem of the angels on youtube.
I like to see the “story” is about a couple who are trapped in a blizzard and one of them dies and the other succumbed to eating their loved ones corpse and as a result becomes a Wendigo hence the “left me cold and damned” Wendigos are cursed with the never ending pain of starvation and freezing to death for all eternity due to their immortality and cravings of human flesh

The first time you hear the chorus, and the "RUN!" blaring like a siren, it chills my blood. I wanted to shrink down in my seat cuz I felt truly terrified. I'm kinda hesitant to listen to it again but I know I will. I know it's hard to judge an entire album off one song and from what I've learned from Avenged Sevenfold's "The Stage" album, the first song can be deceiving (I really did not like the album as a whole, but the first 2 songs were amazing), but for some reason I feel like this album will be their best... at least in my opinion. The album cover art, even the name "Ember" it's just... It resonates with me so well.

"Every band has a bad album". That's a saying that I have been using since goodness knows how long, but damn it, Breaking Benjamin is officially the 1st band EVER to have broken my age old oath. I heard SOAD, Nirvana, and Tool and yes, those bands have never made a bad album, but BB has been releasing material, CONSISTENTLY, FOR 2 DECADES. Not a damn band on gods green earth has done the same thing. I know I sound like a biased HEAVY diehard rn, and maybe I am; is just the fact that in my decade of having that oath, it has never been broken before. Breaking Benjamin is, as of 2019, the greatest group of artists of the 2000s. Plain and simple.
