- Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to all of my amazing followers! We are through the business of the holidays and have our sights set on this upcoming year in homesteading!
I've taken quite a bit of time off from the channel during this holiday season, but the rest has been well worth while for my soul and my family. I am glad you are back joining me today as we take a look at the garden and see what is surviving, dying, and thriving during the cold month of January.

Thanks!
Great video, I like your efforts to make and create new and beautiful beauties and events. I wish you success.🥰😍❤👍
Thanks!
Broccoli greens are delicious!
As marking I had find out that simple pencil will last all year, and I can reuse again, just found your channel this helps me a lot for my Texas heat dry weather, thanks
Thanks I'll try that!
I, too, was having problems with the tags and the ink disappearing. This year I used a brother labeling system. And so far this winter and fall it worked. That’s just a thought. I know it’s an expense, but my husband had an extra one laying around, so I’m using it and it seems to work!
I npught one of those old label makers that stamp. I love the aesthetic of those...but it broke om me the day I used it 😭
@@thefiresidefarm oh no!
The greens from the cauliflower can be eaten too. Cook them like collard greens
Thanks!
👍
Use a paint pen instead of a marker.
Ooo good idea!
@@thefiresidefarmyup a sharpie oil based paint marker😊
I’m in Tucson and found that only one pen works in our environments, brand is Artline Garden Marker!
I'll check it out thanks!
