  • Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to all of my amazing followers! We are through the business of the holidays and have our sights set on this upcoming year in homesteading!
I've taken quite a bit of time off from the channel during this holiday season, but the rest has been well worth while for my soul and my family. I am glad you are back joining me today as we take a look at the garden and see what is surviving, dying, and thriving during the cold month of January.

I, too, was having problems with the tags and the ink disappearing. This year I used a brother labeling system. And so far this winter and fall it worked. That’s just a thought. I know it’s an expense, but my husband had an extra one laying around, so I’m using it and it seems to work!

The greens from the cauliflower can be eaten too. Cook them like collard greens

Use a paint pen instead of a marker.

I’m in Tucson and found that only one pen works in our environments, brand is Artline Garden Marker!
