It is almost time to get the garden in the ground and I could not be more excited for another year of growing my own food! Today I am discussing the difference between direct sowing seeds and transplanting started plants in your garden. I have many years doing both methods and I have pros and cons for each. Come along with me today as we plant some seeds in the spring garden.

How does your calendula perform? They struggle so much in my dry heat. If I can get them to survive the summer then they will perform nicely in winter...sometimes😂. I don't yet have it figured out.
They do really well here! I grow the Cakendula Resina variety specifically for medicinal purposes...so I haven't really tried other varieties.
