There's some evidence in Scandinavia that Vikings had some horned helmets in the bronze age. "horned helmets?" umm, no. They did not wear horns on their helmets. That was a 20th century construct.

Well, it didn't, they mingled with whoever they conquered or settled on their and, The English language is full of viking words.
