@@WILLITGROW yeah…6 hens will likely give you all the eggs you can handle. The Hens looks beautiful and health…well raised evident by their demeanor. Gonna plant my potatoes in the hoop house this week…can’t wait to start the out door gardening season.

Hey John, are you aware when the hens push out their wings when you reach down to pet them, that's a defensive move.

@@WILLITGROW Yes, that to. By pushing there wings out, makes them look bigger hopefully to big for a predator. Usually the rooster jumps on top and then she pushes her wings mainly due to the weight and force of the rooster.
