@@HeyDerFolks Recessed lighting fixtures used to have a standard bulb socket so you could screw in a lightbulb of whatever kind you wanted. Now they come like this, with most of the fixture being a single unit that has to be replaced if it fails, rather than a simple socket so you can just replace the failed bulb.
And when the LED goes bad in a few years, you must replace the entire fixture instead of just a bulb.
Fixture meaning? Honestly, I was surprised I had to replace this light. Still new to the whole recessed lighting biz
