I have the 2016 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL and I love it. I am surprised that Nissan didn't release the next generation of the Altima since we have new gen accords and camrys.

Does the SR from all the year models (2016-2018) come with the boomerang LED daytime running lights. Please respond. My graduation is coming may 25 and I really love the Altima and its headlights. Please respond
+BLUU BOY it is optional but not standard, on 2016 appearance package is need for the led, 2017 needs midnight edition package, and for 2018 you need Special Edition package which will be available sometime next year in 2018

+Brian Lawrance good eye, if you zoom in, in the far far back, you can also see a Nissan 300ZX parked. these cars however are not for sale. They were turned in, in very terrible condition and will not be resold, they are on their way to the auction/junkyard so their good remaining parts can hopefully keep another car on the road
Will there still be a midnight edition for the 2018 Altima?
+antonio castillo there will be a similar package, for 2018 there will be a Special Edition package, which will have the midnight edition features plus a navigation touch screen!
Damn I have the ‘17 midnight edition. Looks like they upgraded NOTHING for 2018 smh

coming from a old bucket car I can't complain
I had a 2011 SL nothing has changed only the head and tail lights. I hate the interior plus my breaks failed on me when it was snowing, I will never buy another one
Interior on 2016 Altima is substantially different from 2011. The newer version is also roomier.
Im a nissan fanboy but really disappointed with the lineups. And cvt engines.only good so far is the Z , Gtr and Armada.

Wish I could've found the 3.5 SR, settled for 2.5 SR. I could use the horsepower at times.

To vibes w berto I have to agree I have a 2013 nissan Altima s very clean and nice don't get me wrong the 2016 thru 2018 are nice but the 2013 thru 2015 just look nicer to me especially if your model of those years is fully loaded very luxury looking with a sporty touch to it

yea, its an optional SL color I believe. I got the optional Deep Blue Pearl in my '17 3.5 SR (don't regret it)
I feel so sorry for car salesmen who have to try to sale the 2016-2018 Altima. No big new features you can really highlight and the inside looks just like the interior of a 2013....This dude is saying it has a nicer steering wheel....SMH. Nissan has to truly upgrade for the 2019 model. It is LONG overdue!!!!
This car is so OUTDATED it isn't even funny! The 2018 Accord, Camry & Sonata blow this car out of the water.

This was before I saw the spy shots of the 2019 altima, OK! Even after seeing those, I still think those 3 cars have a better interior. The new Altima's interior is a mismatch of at least 3 different car companies.
Agreed. Nissan's been getting lazy lately. No next gen Z, No next gen altima. The only car they even remotely did good on was the maxima.

Interior sucks
The fact that the honda civic has a better interior than an altima says a lot. And its not just better it’s unbelievably better looking.

I mean, we all know the Altima sucks. It's boring, bland, and just plain sickening. The Altima is a disgrace to the automotive industry. It's lame and has nothing compelling about it. It sucks.
Yet Nissan moves hundreds of thousands of Altimas annually.
