I too preferred ignis over nios! The only problem with ignis is poor internal plastic quality! Rest Ignis rocks
Ignis scores well in all ascepts except rear seat comfort. Nios scores it here. But still Ignis rocks. I am a proud owner of Ignis Delta.

Sorry for late reply but you should take ignis as a best option than i10 NIOS because of price difference , features and good drive experience ....
Also most important point today safety :
ignis is 3 star rated and just left to score 4 star just by 1 points
But i10 NIOS is 2 star rated....

I researched about both cars for a long time and finally selected Ignis Zeta AMT with touchscreen. Its a great VFM varient compared to Nios Sportz. Very satisfied with my choice. Ignis gets the basics right: better engine, better safety, bigger wheels, good ground clearance and visibility.

There is price difference nios AMT sports is costlier nearly by Rs 1 lakh over Ignis Zeta amt and zeta has much more advantages like push button start, 15" alloy wheels, defogger, rear windshield wiper touch screen music system rear spoiler and good ground clearance.
NIOS AMT & Santro AMT are best,less jerky in segment

Good feature to have. Personally Never felt that to be important for me.
But you should probably check it during test ride.
Ignis Driver seat and co passanger seat is better than nios. We have both cars in our family ✌🏼

Kindly let me know should I buy new Alto k10 vxi or ignis sigma base model... there is hardly a gap of 20 to 25k... I am a teacher i need this car for daily use in 6 months in an year...
It is better to go by bus, then you can understand various difficulties the students are facing

Ignis and nios are best suited for city driving, if you want overall premium feel go with nios, if you want better fuel efficiency and some bit of practicality then ignis is good buy for your requirements

As a owner, I felt it was a best choice buying brand new Hyundai i10 grand nios petrol because it has more leg room at the rear passenger seat, good looking interior, it as more features than the other cars in this segment, engine is quiet refined and smooth. It has exciting features like wireless charging first in the segment, rear AC vents and many more. It is also the best city car and stable i n highways. I am getting average in cities between 13-14kmpl and in highways you can get easily about 20kmpl.

@@motorberg Hi....Is 2018 model Ignis body quality and advanced steel percentage good? In previous Maruti cars the body was very weak and after 70,000kms or so the body rattles so much which is so irritating , this is based on my Wagon R 2011 model ☹ which is now at 100,000 kms and feels like a junk body, even the axle has got very weak and needs replacement because on rough roads it shakes so much . Although engine and transmission is very reliable till now...this body rattling never happened on my Honda Jazz which has run 85,000 kms. Hyundai too made good body quality even in older models as my brother has grand i10 which at 77000kms doesn't rattle.
Namaste. I am planning my first new car . Should I compromise rear seat comfort go for ignis. As looking for family car. Occasionally highway ride Bangalore to Mangalore.. plz suggest good choice
Rear seat in IGNIS is not that bad, but due to its oval rear shape, 3 adults may not find it comfortable.
I suggest you to rest ride with your family, so you can be sure enough before making a decision to buy

IGNIS base has more features than NIOS base.
40k extra for comfort is up to you. Overall IGNIS is much more value for money product.
Better test ride both. And If you're considering IGNIS base model then check Sigma model, because it doesn't come with rear seat headrest support.

@@motorberg hello sir, I was planning to buy a used car, I had learnt to drive few months ago through a driving school when I had applied for driving school. The problem I faced while learning through the driving school was that I would get only 20 minutes session each day for 24 days so I could attain perfection in driving like taking the car through tight spaces or judging the space on left side etc. Hence to keep my skill in practice and perfect it I was thinking of getting a used car, once I'm perfect with driving the car would be used occassionally on weekend trips.
You might now the used car prices in Karnataka and Goa are on the higher side. Comparatively the Goa prices are on lower side. Had shortlisted some cars, let me know if you could suggest be better others other than the shortlisted once. All prices mentioned are prior to the negotiation.
1. Ford freestyle petrol 2018 titanium 53000 km driven price is Rs 3.90 lakhs (Second owner)
2. Honda Brio VX MT 2017 49000 km driven (cng fitted) price is Rs 5.50 lakhs (Second owner)
3. Ignis Sigma 2019 65000 km driven price is Rs 4 lakhs (not that well maintained a bit dusty) (First owner)
4. Grand i10 2014 sportz 68000 km driven price is Rs 3.80 lakhs (Second owner) second owner paid the Karnataka road tax after buying it from Goa
5. Grand i10 2016 Magna 45000 km driven price is Rs 4 lakhs (First owner)
6. Hyundai i10 2013 Magna 78000 km driven price is Rs 2 lakhs (Second owner)
7. Ritz 2014-2015 model but there are overpriced like around Rs 3.60 lakhs
8. Etios live 2018 V petrol dual tone 54000 km price is Rs 4.20 lakhs (First owner)
I think the Freestyle would be a true drivers car but just concerned about Ford service and they stopped production & whether there would be any spare parts availability issue in future.
I really love the Honda Jazz but the jazz would fit in my parking space in tight spot without leaving much room for movement. Also is the Jazz too big to drive for beginners
Should I look for cars that have good visibility and cars that would increase my taste in driving ?
I am happy to spend less but in the low budget I would get alto K 10, wagon R and that too they are price like in the range of Rs 2.80 lakhs to 3.50 laksh for every 2012 models. Frankly I 'm not satisfied with the Wagon R either after I had the experience of driving the new wagonr during my driving classes. It doesn't inspire confidence with the road grip.

As per my experience Nios ki service charges cheap hai compared to IGNIS. Replacement parts Maruti ki hamesha cheap hothi hai due to higher sales.
