Sometimes bands come out with a new song after having been gone a while, and you try to make yourself like it even though deep down you know it's not as good as their old stuff. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE TIMES. This is so good. I have listened to it on repeat and really love it.

Yeah he was amazing and brimming with energy, sadly there were a few moments during the show were his confidence may have taken a hit though. You may notice in videos of skylines & turnstiles (fans not knowing lyrics), thank you for the venom (fans stopped chanting/dancing for some unknown reason), and songs near the end of the show (when people left early). Honestly with just the general behavior of some fans that i witnessed makes me think we dont deserve these legends

As they keep performing, he keeps getting more and more comfortable with the stage and with himself… I’ve loved seeing him grow into the man that he became outside of MyChem… but seeing him full of confidence is a gift I never thought I would see again ❤️ I just love this man
Just saw them tonight, man came out dressed by what I can only assume is some kind of cheerleader outfit and perform in it the whole time. It was GLORIOUS.
Let's be real, based on Gerard's outfits, the SWARM merch being sold at the shows, the audio/video for "The Foundations of Decay", the very cinematic nature of the song, and the background at this show (at least at this show)...There is most likely going to be an album. If I'm gonna take a wild guess at the concept, if there is one, I'd say its gonna revolve around a worldwide apocalypse based off of a deadly swarm that devours everything in sight. The main protagonist, again if there is one, is expressing their grief for their decaying world through in their journal entries. The songs are the journal entries. Again, I'm just spitballing here. However, no matter if there IS or ISN'T an album, I'm excited about the future of rock music, and especially, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!!!

It is. When he sings “he was there the day the towers fell” he’s talking about himself; he witnessed them fall on his way to work as a cartoonist. I believe he was on a ferry? “Skylines and Turnstiles” is about that too. Anyway it made him re-examine his life and what he wanted to do with it. (This was actually true about a lot of bands of the era, Emery for one and I know others but can’t think of them off the top of my head.)

I think the crowd had so much to do with it, i was there and it was so electric. Everyone sang in unison every lyric to every song. Was a once in a lifetime experience honestly i don't know how they'll top it for the rest of the tour

my dad bought tickets before he had passed away due to stage four cancer. i get to see MCR in September :). it obviously wont be the same since i’m going with another person that isn’t the person who had introduced me to MCR and bought the tickets but either way i’m so incredibly thankful for the chance to see the band that had allowed me and my father to bond and get closer before he had unfortunately passed on. i’m so excited to see this live. :’)

It really reminds me of how thom yorke from Radiohead learnt to use a lot of electronic instruments for their album Kid A, that album was an absolute revolution in both their sound and the music industry, so I hope MCR has an amazing comeback
Gerard looks so good, and obviously is in so much better shape than the Mini-Reunion a little while back. MCR picked the PERFECT time to come back, given the fact that MIW, BVB & Radke resurrected the Scene, and there's no bigger Scene/Emo band than MCR.

Guys, Gerard's outfit reminds me of a twisted version of what he'd wear during the Three Cheers era. Replacing the black suite with a white suite and his long black hair and make-up switched with a white mask covering his face. But he still has the red tie, but this time it's a blood soaked white tie instead of an all red tie. Im living for this shit. AND - what is he writing on these drum kits? The one from the first show said GAG ( I think ) and this one is supposed to be an I? Or maybe a 1?
The live performance of this is incredible and a testament to their ability to write fucking great songs that shake the crowd to their core, no gimmicks just absolutely stellar performances

I’m seeing them this fall and just thinking about it makes me emotional. They are really back and I can’t believe it. Even though they announced the tour a couple years ago it didn’t really feel real until the tour started. So excited to see the direction this album goes both visually and vocally!!!
This is making me so emotional. After they broke up in 2013, I thought back then that I would never see them live in concert. Then, came their reunion tour in 2020, which I was so excited about and bought tickets for, but it got cancelled due to the pandemic. Now, in 2022, I feel like my chance has finally come. They are back. They are really back omg!
I'll never forget this moment. I had my hand over my mouth in shock the entire song. Finally getting to see them live after nearly 11 years, gerard dressed insane, hearing the new song live for the first time, the curtain dropping to show the city rubble... I. Am. In. Awe.
When I was in high school, MCR came to my country for a concert, but there was no way in hell my parents would let me go. The band break up and I didn't even know about it because that kind of news didn't reach my country, I didn't even understand English back then and I found out about it when I was in college. Is like a dream come true see them playing together again, releasing a new song and being the same as always.
I’m seeing them twice in the same week in October and I cannot explain how absurdly hyped I am. I’ve seen them 7 times, but my husband has never seen them. I can’t wait for him to experience this. MCR’s literally my favorite live show I’ve ever been to.
I was there! Gods it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen! Gerard was so cool and nice and kind! He told us to look at the sky because it was pretty and he made the stage crew point the lights at someone who fell over so that they could be helped! (I'm not sure if they fell over or got hurt) everyone looked so cool and I'm so happy that I was able to see them in person! (And Frank's craziness with the guitar!)

hi you are a LEGEND!!! also, i'm genuinely obsessed with the stand up on the stage g's been controlling, i'm like REALLY curious about what's on there though. i'm assuming there's some sort of vocal effect thing because it does feel like there's a unique sound to his voice and considering how much g loves experimenting with pedals (thinking back to those soundcloud recordings/demos he put out like last year??? was that a hint???) i wouldn't be surprised if they had some sort of vocal pedal or connected to the microphone, and then something controlling like.. actual sound effects or something like parts of the track??? it's really cool!!! it's awesome to see that kind of thing like actually up on stage visible to people the way a guitarist's pedalboard would be too :) i think they realized how committed fans are so they realized g could actually run around stage and use pedals and stuff because if they really pause from singing for a second they know the audience will keep it going and i think that's really cool honestly

Gerard looks so good, and obviously is in so much better shape than the Mini-Reunion a little while back. MCR picked the PERFECT time to come back, given the fact that MIW, BVB & Radke resurrected the Scene, and there's no bigger Scene/Emo band than MCR.

Guys, Gerard's outfit reminds me of a twisted version of what he'd wear during the Three Cheers era. Replacing the black suite with a white suite and his long black hair and make-up switched with a white mask covering his face. But he still has the red tie, but this time it's a blood soaked white tie instead of an all red tie. Im living for this shit.
AND - what is he writing on these drum kits? The one from the first show said GAG ( I think ) and this one is supposed to be an I? Or maybe a 1?
I think the writing on the drums are clues for the upcoming album! They've always done cryptic shit, like they did for the reunion show dates etc.

I’m seeing them this fall and just thinking about it makes me emotional. They are really back and I can’t believe it. Even though they announced the tour a couple years ago it didn’t really feel real until the tour started. So excited to see the direction this album goes both visually and vocally!!!
This is making me so emotional. After they broke up in 2013, I thought back then that I would never see them live in concert. Then, came their reunion tour in 2020, which I was so excited about and bought tickets for, but it got cancelled due to the pandemic. Now, in 2022, I feel like my chance has finally come. They are back. They are really back omg!

When I was in high school, MCR came to my country for a concert, but there was no way in hell my parents would let me go. The band break up and I didn't even know about it because that kind of news didn't reach my country, I didn't even understand English back then and I found out about it when I was in college. Is like a dream come true see them playing together again, releasing a new song and being the same as always.

I’m seeing them twice in the same week in October and I cannot explain how absurdly hyped I am. I’ve seen them 7 times, but my husband has never seen them. I can’t wait for him to experience this. MCR’s literally my favorite live show I’ve ever been to.

I was there! Gods it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen! Gerard was so cool and nice and kind! He told us to look at the sky because it was pretty and he made the stage crew point the lights at someone who fell over so that they could be helped! (I'm not sure if they fell over or got hurt) everyone looked so cool and I'm so happy that I was able to see them in person! (And Frank's craziness with the guitar!)

hi you are a LEGEND!!! also, i'm genuinely obsessed with the stand up on the stage g's been controlling, i'm like REALLY curious about what's on there though. i'm assuming there's some sort of vocal effect thing because it does feel like there's a unique sound to his voice and considering how much g loves experimenting with pedals (thinking back to those soundcloud recordings/demos he put out like last year??? was that a hint???) i wouldn't be surprised if they had some sort of vocal pedal or connected to the microphone, and then something controlling like.. actual sound effects or something like parts of the track??? it's really cool!!! it's awesome to see that kind of thing like actually up on stage visible to people the way a guitarist's pedalboard would be too :) i think they realized how committed fans are so they realized g could actually run around stage and use pedals and stuff because if they really pause from singing for a second they know the audience will keep it going and i think that's really cool honestly
