We all need to take in this moment. We are witnessing history from one of the most important bands of the last 20 years. There is a fire within this band again and I can tell that the next album is perhaps going to be the definitive My Chemical Romance record and I am certain it will be album of the year. Thank you MCR for saving my life. Thank you for saving the current state of rock music which honestly was getting stale and too safe, and thank you for making music exciting again and with actual purpose. This is my favorite MCR song. I cannot tell you how overjoyed I am to not only see it performed again after so long, but that they have so much passion and energy again. Also, you filmed this perfectly!!!!

Last night during the Detroit show, the pandemic horror seemed to have been officially diffused. I've been waiting for the moment where I knew without a shadow of a doubt that those who survived made it through to see the light. I felt it, and this is our reward. Not only do we get to see My Chemical Romance, but we are afforded the chance to bear witness to the birth of a brand new era of My Chemical Romance. One which breathes new life into not just those who have yearned for a return of one of their favorite artists, but which breathes new life into the artists themselves. Seeing them all smiling, laughing, and just losing themselves in the old and new tracks last night was incredibly inspiring as an artist. 2023 is the year of My Chemical Romance.
It was amazing to listen to this live. When they last played it I was two 😳
