I have them in boots, in close toe dress shoes, and in open toe sandals. They make dressing a lot easier as they go with everything and make my legs look longer. I have other colors of shoes too! I've learned so much about fashion since watching your videos! I'm 5 foot 0. I've learned to wear nude shoes most of the time. I now own numerous nude shoes in all styles and heel heights. I've just ordered a pair of nude espadrille sling back sandals to wear with skirts and my summer white jeans. Black shoes or boots only with black pants. The shoe most definitely makes or breaks the outfit.
I am a petite with long legs but I think that would also help those with short legs. Flats that have no extra details and cover most of the foot make my legs look even longer. Appliqués usually interrupt the line and shorten it.

The black shoes + black tighs trick works also with other colors (navy, dark red, brown, pink for that matter...). And another tip: avoid shoes / boots with loose shaft or a lot of volume/accessoires at the ankle - same reason like with the ankle strap: you don't want anything to break up the line. :)

These tips have been so helpful! I am 66 and can no longer wear even a tiny heel due to foot pain. But I have short legs and large feet, so flat shoes can look dreadful on me, and because of this I haven't worn a skirt or dress in years. In fact I don't even own any! But I'm going to try your suggestions, and hopefully get back into wearing skirts. Also, I think nude shoes look so glamorous! I had a pair years ago, but I had forgotten about them. Thank you x

But I don't want to look frumpy. I'm willing to pay for well engineered shoes though the lace up ugly shoes are beyond the pale.

I wish I could wear several of the shoes you modeled, and your shoes rules are good to know. But I have a narrow foot in the heel area and I cant wear many of the styles, they only come in medium and wide. Then I have fingers for toes Ha. I need a bigger toe box, and i'm also only 5'2"

I have been having a hard time wearing heels after I got an ankle ligament fracture...but I have been having a real hard time finding nude footwear suitable for my skin tone. I have brown skin with cool undertones, most nude color footwear are either too warm or too light for my skin. To top it all, my footsize is the smallest limiting the selections
Can you please tell me the difference between regular, short and petite clothes? I purchased online petite bootcut jeans and I am 5 ' 2" and the jeans go way past the bottom of my heel. I purchase petite slacks and they fit perfectly. Can you explain why? By the way, I don't like wearing high heels. Thanks
