Great video!!! Yea I'm the guy who made that video with the 30 and 55 enduramax, it's cold here in Colorado so I can't get out anytime soon but I plan on making more videos on them
Hey Cody. Thanks for the sub and glad you liked the video. Yeah I really liked your video. Bought some of these right after watching it. Really good video! I'm still running these props in places I know are clean water. Really like the speed and power they give. I just switch them out when I'm going somewhere weedy or rocky. Have you tried any of the wood or carbon fiber versions? Wondering how they might do. Thanks!
Here in Florida…we got everything from eel grass to cypress stumps, in our freshwater fishing areas. So, if you got a wimpy prop on your trolling motor…you’re gonna spend a lot of time paddling. I’m kinda hoping someone will make a propeller out of hardened armor plate…lol
Lol 🤣 armor plate or titanium. The kipawa props are probably the most durable ones I've used. These Apc props would be great if they wasn't made of plastic. I still use them but always pack extras lol
In my opinion, if yoir trolling.motor isnt easy to access to clean your prop off, i wouldnt recommend them for weedy areas, i mainly troll lures in open water on my inflatable boat, so i dont have weed issues, also ita east to clear weeds out in a boat vs a kayak. Thanks for mentioning me in your vid, im subbed
I saw the same video as you and ordered one and im pretty impressed. I saw a noticeable increase in thrust and a reduction in power draw. I think your conclusion on the non wedlessness and durability of it is accurate but i mainly saltwater fish in port Phillip bay so weeds are not a huge issue for me.
I was impressed too with the thrust and power of the prop. I would definitely love the prop if not for the weedless part. I'm still running the last 1 I got now. I'm debating if I want to order some more just for trips to places I know it would work good at.
Very honest video. I appreciate ya. I saw the same video you're talkin about. N I just ordered five 10x5s before watchin your video. 🤦 Lol. Oh well. I wanna see what all the fuss is about and I'll give some to my buddies. I love my kipewa but I'll have to order a new one for my jon boat because I'm gettin a bigger motor. 50 or 55. The one I had for my 40 lb Minn kota worked great on the kayak. You're right on about the reverse power. When you hit it, you're there. And it's very weedless. There are some contenders in certain aspects but when it comes to all-around performance, kipewa takes it in my book.
Thanks for watching. At least there not expensive lol. Maybe you'll have a better experience with them then I did. I would have really liked them if they would have handled the weeds better. I agree. Kipawa props are just all around the best bang for your buck. Happy fishing 🎣
@@ARKAYAKFISHING there's not too much more than mud on the river I like to go on. So hopefully it won't be too much of an issue. The lakes on the other hand I'll probably have the same issues you did.
Will rocks break OEM props? I betcha! Much rather pay pennies on the dollar for a prop like that then the 82 + dollars for the Jackson kayak props. And yes they make props for peddle kayaks! No other way to go if you ask me.

Thanks! Really appreciate that! Hope you found it helpful.

Good info. Thank you sir!
I have the kipawa on my 30 thrust minn kota the apc prop uses less amps and gives you more speed I use the apc 10x4 and 10x5 prop
They have a prop guard for trolling motors.
