- George Jones sings WALK THROUGH THIS WORLD WITH ME live on Navy Hoedown NH9-52 (1968). Hal Durham was MC. "Walk Through This World with Me" is a song written by Sandy Seamons and Kaye Savage. George Jones had a #1 hit with it in 1967.
The original vinyl recording had a lot of crackling and other background noise. I sent the mp3 file to Richard Toth at Audio Restoration Services: www.audio-clea... and I think Richard did a very good job of cleaning up the audio.

Peak George Jones before he basically checked out in 1970. I’ve never seen an artist who appeared to live every song like it was his last day on earth. I’m not surprised he was a hopeless alcoholic at the time after singing so many heart wrenching songs that he clearly felt in order to make us feel the songs

The unissued "I've got time' NCO 109701 is a duet with George, recorded 28 Apr 1971 for their first LP. Another duet for that LP but not released is 'Help Me Make It Through The Night' NCO 109709 recorded the next day.
They changed the title on the album to "A LIFETIME LEFT TOGETHER." "I'VE GOT TIME" is a repeated lyric in the song. I see now that there are 2 HELP ME MAKE IT THROUGH THE NIGHTs in Tammy's discography. The 2nd one being on the album ANOTHER LONELY SONG. I think this was the only unissued duet with George. I sure would love to hear it ! Thank you for this information ! Do you know anything about the status of all her unreleased songs ? Will we ever get to hear them ?
