Thanks to you, I not only made my first granny square and tote bag, but I was finally able to create actual magic rings! Lining my bag is the next step!
Oh wow I’m so happy to hear that! It’s amazing when you can learn new skills and techniques when you work through a project 👍🏻 Thanks for telling me! Enjoy lining your bag 🩷

I haven’t posted any tutorials for lining crochet bags, so those videos might be by a different creator! That’s good to know that there are good tutorials out there though 👍🏻
The moment I came across this pattern I knew I had to make this bag, the tutorial simply made it so much easier. I made a half dozen last spring /summer, sold all but one at a local shop. The one left was given away to a friend who absolutely adored it. Thank you for what you do!
You’re very welcome 💕 Thank you for your support and feedback! That’s amazing how you made so many bags and sold them - what a special gift for your friend too! Thanks for your sweet comment 🥰
I have watched many crochet UA-cam tutorials in my day, but this video is soooo clear and the stitches are so easy to see that it blows my mind. This level of video quality precision definitely does not go undetected - thank you for such a high quality and patient tutorial! Definitely going to follow it along 😁
Wow thank you SO MUCH for your incredibly kind feedback and comment 🥰 These tutorials take a long time to film and edit, so I really appreciate your kind words! I’m glad you found the video clear and easy to follow along 💖 Enjoy crocheting your bag and once again thank you for your amazing encouragement!
Thank you for this amazing tutorial! I am in love with my new tote bag. I found that it was easier to only go through one loop when doing single crochets through the chain for the strap, I learned this from a different tutorial, and it was less frustrating as a beginner to do it that way
Wow this is truly amazing! I'm a crocheter for over 3 years now and i really LOVE this tutorial!! You can see how much time it cost to film edit ect. Thank you so much for the amount of time you packed in this tutorial because it was worth it!!! My bag turned out so pretty 🥰 Thank you ❤
Aww I’m sooo happy to hear that your bag turned out so well 💕 Thank you for your very kind words! It did take a long time to film this video, so I’m so happy that you found it helpful 🥰

So very beginner friendly. I'm 3 squares in so far and feeling more confident with each one. It might be a little rough around the edges on account of my lack of experience, but even so, my sister is sure to love her Christmas present. Thank you for the clear instruction!
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback and support! This will be such a special gift for your sister! Thank you very much for leaving such an encouraging comment 💖 Enjoy crocheting the rest of your bag!
Thank you so, so much for sharing. I thought it would be too hard for my skill level, but I loved making this bag - I've done it twice and will do it again! The squares are fun and quick to make, and sewing them together is so satisfying. The graphics, photos, and instructions in your blog are so detailed and clear. The strap was the hardest/most time consuming part - learning that waistcoat stitch! Realized that sizing up my crochet hook on the row before waistcoat stitch made it much easier. I gave one to my sister for her birthday and she loved it so much she started crying. ♥
You’re very welcome! Thank you sooo much for your detailed feedback and encouragement - I really appreciate it 💕 Good idea to size up your hook on the row before the waistcoat stitch! That’s great that you learned this strong stitch 👍🏻 What a special handmade gift for your sister!!!
So glad I came across this! I have so many bags worth of squares made, but have been avoiding putting them together because I hadn't really come across a great tutorial on that part specifically, thank you for sharing!!!
Thank you for wonderful tutorial! It is clear and thorough 😆 picked up my hooks again after 8 years of not crocheting, I finished one square already only 12 more to go 😅 thank you again for this awesome pattern and tutorial! ❤❤
I ordered the same yarn in the same colours. I LOVE this bag. I made quite a few of those bags but, not yet with a daisy granny square. Those colours spoke to me. So beautiful.
@@AllAboutAmiBlog Those colours are so very beautiful. I already finished 4 squares. And yes, the yarn is wonderful to crochet with. The best cotton yarn I have ever used. I will be sewing a lining in my bag so it won't stretch too much. I can not wait to get it finished. Will you be uploading more tutorials?
Very clear and easy to follow. I'm pleased I found you, and I liken your talent to that of 'Hooked By Robin' as she is also very clear and easy to follow! x
Thank you so much for the amazing tutorial and design - made the bag during the summer for myself and so many people complimented the bag, asked for the tutorial and I was able to share my love for crochet. Nearly done with the second bag that I am making for a friend as a Christmas gift. Thank you!
Thank you sooo much for your very kind comment and feedback about the tutorial and pattern! Your encouragement brought such a big smile to my face 🥰 I put a lot of time and effort into this video, so I’m very happy that you found it helpful! That’s wonderful how you got so many compliments and that you could share your love of crochet ❤️ What a special Christmas gift the bag will be for your friend! You’re very welcome - thanks for taking the time to write such a sweet comment!
I saw one of ur shorts of u making one of ur adorable granny squares after that i knew I had to make on of ur projects and i chose this one as a gift to one of my family members. Tysm for this tutorial ❤ I have attached all the squares so far I just have to make the straps
That’s amazing how you’ve made so many granny squares already 👍🏻 That will be a very special gift! Enjoy crocheting the rest of your bag and thanks for letting me know 💖
Thank you for this! I used the granny sqaure daisy pattern for a bag! I posted it on my channel and tagged you 😊. This is by FAR the easiest crochet tutorial I've ever done! Thank you ❤ 💓
@@AllAboutAmiBlog hello! I want to start this project and thank you so much for such detailed tutorial and easy follow for beginner, I have one question before I start, is one ball of DK yarn (100g, 250m) enough for the main colour/body + strap for this bag?
Fantastic tutorial. So clear and concise. My yarn is arriving today and I am excited to start. This will be the first bag I have made, but if it turns out anything like yours, I am sure it will not be my last. Thank you for sharing this lovely design.
You’re very welcome, Tracey! Thanks so much for your encouragement and feedback! I hope you enjoy crocheting your bag - that’s so exciting how it’ll be your first bag 🙌🏻
Hello, I love your work. I tried this bag and it came out really well. Your teaching is amazing step by step and it’s really easy to learn. Amazing work and thank you.
Thank you for your very kind words and feedback 🥰 I’m so happy to hear that you made this bag and that it turned out well! I really appreciate your encouragement!
@@AllAboutAmiBlog your works and your teaching is pushing me to do lot of bags and trying out many. A good teacher can create a good student. You got an excellent talent and it looks so easy and feel like doing all the bags. Thank you
Thank you sooo much for your incredibly kind words and feedback 💕 That’s amazing how you were able to complete your first bag! Great job! 👍🏻 Enjoy crocheting more projects in the future!
This is amazing! Thank you! I have done 13 squares, but mine are a bit smaller. If I want to male a bigger bag how many extra squares should I crochet and how do I add them to this final pattern?
If you want to make the same bag with this overall layout, you would have to stick with the same number of granny squares! My recommendation would be to add another round to each of your squares if you want the bag to be bigger 👍🏻
Hello, I absolutely love your content and patterns. Although, there is one thing I am very confused about. I have made all my granny squares and am trying to whip stitch them together. I understand the concept, until I get to the corners. I have looked through your blog extensively and watched many tutorials but none of them have the same chain 3 around the corner. Could you please explain how to stitch the corners? Thank you so much for all the effort put into your content! 💗💗
Thanks for your kind words 🩷 I like to split the chain 3’s like this: one chain belongs to one side and the other chain belongs to the other side. The middle chain can “belong” to both sides so you can stitch through that middle chain when doing both the vertical and horizontal seams!
i came across this tutorial after finishing another bag, this is so cute! i’m defo gonna make this soon, maybe not now tho i have crochet bag burnout 😭
Some people like to block the individual squares as they find it easier to seam after blocking! However, if you find that your squares are fairly even and consistent, you can just seam them and block the final bag 👍🏻
You’re very welcome ❤️ Greetings from Canada! I’m so happy to hear that you made the bag and that it turned out so well! Thanks for your wonderful feedback and encouragement about the tutorial 🥰
Hello. Thank you so much for the very nice tutorial. ❤ I would just like to ask a question as I was not able to follow round 3. I'm a bit confused. Is the beginning cluster (cluster 1) the only different one from the rest of the clusters (cluster 2-12)? Hope you would notice and answer my question. A beginner here. Thank you so much. 😊🙏
Thanks for your feedback ❤️ That’s amazing how you’re on your third bag - thank you for always referencing the video. Some of my pattern testers made linings for their bags!
What a wonderful video! Thank you so much. I have a question...when doing the SC in the corner chain stitches, it looks like you go into the front of the V stitch, and then catch a stitch at the back before you yarn over. Can you please expand on this?
That’s a great question! Just as you insert your hook into both the front and back loops of a regular stitch when working a single crochet, I insert my hook into both the front and back loops of the chain stitches when working the single crochets in there too 👍🏻
@@AllAboutAmiBlog I'm sorry, but I don't understand. The chain stitches only have a V. I usually go under it. Just like on a normal stich, I just go under the V. Am I doing it wrong?
The V consists of a front and back loop, so if you’re going under the V, you might be going through both loops? Do you know if the back bump of the chain is under your hook when you insert your hook into the V?
@AllAboutAmiBlog Correct, it is below my hook. All the videos show to just insert your hook under the V forming the top of the stitch, with the bottom part of it below the hook.
Thank you for this tutorial! I’m really confused about round 6: if I skip a stitch on both sides, I only manage to get 9 dc not 10! I think I did previous round correctly, with 16 sts on each side, I only get 11 chains before chain 3 space so I can’t seem to get 10 required at round 6. I tried checking video again and your written guidance but can’t figure it out. I have 13 squares finished to round 5 so would be a shame to stop now! Would really really appreciate some help on this.
If your stitch count was correct in the previous round, then you are possibly identifying the wrong stitch to skip! Sometimes the stitch that needs to be skipped is “hidden” under the corner stitches!
Have nearly finished the outside part of straps. I would like to make my straps wider, do I just follow your strap instructions but add more rows? I am very happy with my bag so far. Thanks for the great video.

@@AllAboutAmiBlog thank you! I tried three squares, i always have a big hole in the spot of my magic ring no matter how much i pull and i always mess up the outline part... :'( I never know if i am stitching in the right hole so i always end up with too little stitches.. its difficult..
Hey I really love your pattern and I’m trying to start a Etsy business online for these bags because they’re so cute and I want to make money and raise money for my Europe trip next June and I have some financial goals of buying a camera but I was wondering if it was okay with you if I sell this bag on Etsy and the smaller one but with 2 straps. If not that’s totally okay and I understand
@@AllAboutAmiBlog thank you SO much you have no idea how much this means to me 🥹 you are a really amazing person and I will obviously give you a shout out on Etsy for letting me sell this wonderful bag! I was filled with joy when you said I was able to. This will help me and my business which I am now just starting 😅. THANKS SO MUCH 🙏🏾😭🥹🥰
@@AllAboutAmiBlogwow you’re an angel. Your compassion to a literal stranger speaks so much of your character and heart. Love your videos and attention to detail on instructions it’s probably my favourite chrochet tutorial for being so easy to follow. I’m almost finished doing this beautiful bag myself 😊
Hello! I am so happy for this video ❤ Is it right that you have 4 loops before you pull trough on the first petal, and then 5 loops on all the other? Greetings from Norway 🤗🥰
Greetings from Canada! Yes that’s right - the beginning cluster (the first one) is the only one worked differently where you have 4 loops before the pull through. The rest of the petals are regular clusters, so you have 5 loops before the pull through!
Tipps an alle Deutschen 😊 Ich hatte Schwierigkeiten die richtige Wolle zu finden. Das hier hat für mich geklappt: -Taupe: jeweils 3 Rollen, je 50g (100m) (Da stand noch das hier. Keine ahnung was das bedeutet (10X10 CM , 22M; 28R) ) 80% Bambus 20% Baumwolle. Habe ich bei Tedox gefunden für je 2,50€ - weiß: da habe ich eine halbe Rolle gebraucht. Also ca. 25g.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback 💖 I’m so glad you like the bag! If you are learning granny squares but have some previous crochet experience, I would approximate 30 mins - 1 hour?
Honestly trying to do the waist stitches were very difficult In the second round and I had to switch to a thinner needle butt I think I'll stich to single crochet in the next view rows for the strap.and I made 180ch because I personally prefer it to be a over the Shoulder strap instead and found 180 fot quite nicely.
Some of my pattern testers lined their bags with fabric! Since I don’t have too much experience sewing, I use a bag organizer insert to instantly add zipper closure and compartments. I bought mine on Amazon, and the brand is called “Periea” (the medium size fits in this bag)!
Hello! I finally decided to make this bag. I usually don't make granny squares but this pattern looks really easy to follow and the final project is beautiful! The thing is, the first granny square I made is bigger than expected (14 cm). I think is because I'm using Aran and the one that you recommend is worsted (?). Do you think it will look good? I mean, if I keep doing this, I'll end up with a bigger bag, but that's it, right? Do you have any recommendations? Thanks!
I’m so happy to hear that you’re making this bag! 💖 Yes if your granny squares are bigger, your overall bag will be bigger as well! If you’re fine with a bigger bag, then you can go ahead! People have definitely adjusted the yarn size to change the finished bag size in this pattern ☺️
I’m watching this & following the pattern on your blog- but mine seems a little ‘off’. Would you say the granny squares should have pretty tight tension?? I can’t seem to figure it out!
Hmm are you using the same yarn and hook size? Do your stitch counts match at the end of each round? Does your granny square have the same finished dimensions as mine? I would say it’s decently tight since I didn’t want my bag to stretch too much with time and wear! 🧶
love this video it looks zo cute but while i was making my granny square i was thinking when you start like the white part your first cluster you doing 4 loops and in the second one 5 but how does it go to the end, is it like 1,3,... clusters 4 loops and 2,4... 5 loops or is it one time 4 and all the other ones 5 loops? because i was like stuck on the video
Hi there! Only the very first cluster differs because it is the beginning cluster - you need to work it differently to bring the stitches to that height! The subsequent clusters of the round are all the same from then on (5 loops)! You can reference the written pattern on my blog for more clarification too 👍🏻
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Its amazing. I'm trying this right now. I have just one question: I'm currently whipstitching the squares together, with the wrong side facing me. When I start with the top edging and strap, do I still have te "wrong" side facing me or should I turn the back inside out? Again, thank you so much!
hi there! great toturial... im here actually to ask about what yarn is the best for making tote bag because i find milk cotton yarn not strong enough to hold my things in the bag.. can you share your opinion maybe on what type of yarn i should try ?? thank you xoxo
Thanks so much for your feedback 🥰 I find that using 100% mercerized cotton is great for bags! It is very strong and durable and does not stretch or pill easily. My favorite yarn to use for crochet bags is 24/7 Cotton 🧶
Can i just change the color of the flowers to look like a sunflower? Or does sunflower has different pattern? Btw love your video this will help me alot!
thank you the tutorial is amazing and clear! i used an anti-pilling acrylic yarn with a 3.5 hook and the square turns out small, kinda tight and the stitches are not showing,i am beginner so i don't really know if the yarn is the problem or the size of it or even the hook is too small,if there's a type of yarn or brand would make the stitch more clear and the squares in a fit size please tell me
Thank you for your kind words and feedback about the tutorial! Yes the yarn can definitely make a difference for stitch definition and overall size. I used 100% mercerized cotton which is level 4 worsted weight called “24/7 Cotton” by Lion Brand Yarn 🧶 I find that it has great stitch definition, and I used a 3.75 mm hook with it. If you find that your square turned out kind of tight, I would try to move up a hook size or crochet a bit more loosely.
I used thia tutorial for my granny squares, I would like to make a cardigan out of it but I realized you never did the last row for the caedigan! I used slightly thinner yarns and 5mm crochet hook. Do you think I can use these square or better to remove the last row and make more (smaller) squares? Thank you xx
Hi there! If you want a more “airy” look, you can keep that last round since it has the chain gaps, but if you want a more solid look, you could remove the last round!
@@AllAboutAmiBlog oh thank you so much for your reply ❤️ Your tutorials and crochet ideas are amazing, thank you! 😍 I will let you know how I get on ;)
Thank you so much for the amazing video! For the top edging and strap, if I inadvertently did round 2 without chain 85 (did waistcoat stitch all around), is it okay to keep as is and repeat round 2 again?
hey!!! loved your pattern. But I got a question. can we make a bigger version of this? Instead of making 13 granny squares can we make more of squares and make it bigger?
Thanks for the love! To make the bag bigger, you can use thicker yarn or make each granny square bigger by adding more rounds! My tank top pattern has extra rounds written out for the same granny square 👍🏻
Hi there! I think the pattern you purchased is the “Summer Days Daisy Bag” as Round 5 uses half double crochets for that design! It is a small size bag with one strap. This video here is for the “Breezy Days Daisy Bag” which is a medium size bag that has two straps. I have a separate video for the Summer Days Daisy Bag! 🌼
Thank you for this great tutorial! If I don't have 3.75mm and 2.75mm hooks, do you think it will still be similar if I were to use 4.0mm/3.0mm or 3.5mm/2.5mm hooks instead?
You can definitely switch up the crochet hook sizes depending on what you have! I would work up a sample granny square using the different hook sizes and see how you like the density of the stitches and the size of the overall square. You don’t want too many holes/gaps and you also don’t want your square to be too small (otherwise your overall bag might be smaller than you expected)!
You can see the exact yardage required for each color listed in the materials section of the pattern! You can find the free crochet pattern on my blog (link in description of this video) 💖
It's my first week since I started learning how to crochet and so far made a few beginner items (well tbh we were taught in school before but I swear I don't remember it being this fun 😅). Now, I am challenging myself to make this as my next project so thanks for the tutorial! One question though, I only have 3.5 and 4mm hook, do you recommend going down or up? Or does it not matter?
That’s amazing how you’re learning how to crochet! It really is so much fun ❤️ You’re very welcome for this tutorial! I would try making your granny squares with both hooks and see how you like the resulting squares. You want the stitches to be tight and even without curling or bunching up, and you don’t want the holes to be too big. The tension can vary from person to person, so you could try using both hooks and see which one you like better!
Why do I skip the stitches before and after the corners in Round 5? What would happen if I don't? 😊 I just try to really understand the thoughts behind a pattern
Thanks for asking! I chose to skip the stitches before and after the corners in Round 5 so it would be less crowded in the corners! I like how this looks so it doesn’t appear as cluttered there ☺️
I’ve already made a bunch of squares and flowers, but I have not figured out why for the flower part, there is some yellow sticking out of the white petals? When we closed off the yellow part w/ a knot, that knot becomes visible, even with the white petals around it.
When I crochet over my yarn tails, I find that the knot gets tucked away and hidden! If it pops back out again, you can use a crochet hook to hide it within a petal again!
I typically keep that yarn tail and weave it in after all the squares have been seamed together 👍🏻 I find it easier to hide that tail after all the squares have been connected so that you can hide them in some of the seams too!
@@AllAboutAmiBlog - I didn’t even think of that but it completely makes sense! 🤦🏻♀️ Thank you so much for you reply I just finished all the squares so now I can start putting them together! I also just got the yarn for your Daisy blanket and Wildrose Market bag and backpack. You’re one of my absolute favorite crochet designers and are honestly part of the reason I started crochet so thank you! 🙏😊
Thanks to you, I not only made my first granny square and tote bag, but I was finally able to create actual magic rings! Lining my bag is the next step!

Thanks for the lovely pattern. I just finished my first granny square bag all because of you!
You’re very welcome 💖 Congrats on making your first granny square bag 🙌🏻 That’s an amazing accomplishment!
You are such a good teacher! It's a joy to watch your instructions. I have ordered material to this bag! Thanks in advance! ❤
Thank you soo much for your very kind words and encouragement 🥰 Enjoy crocheting your bag!
So glad I came across this! I have so many bags worth of squares made, but have been avoiding putting them together because I hadn't really come across a great tutorial on that part specifically, thank you for sharing!!!
You’re very welcome 💖 I’m so glad you found this helpful! Enjoy combining your squares into beautiful bags 🙌🏻
Thank you for wonderful tutorial! It is clear and thorough 😆 picked up my hooks again after 8 years of not crocheting, I finished one square already only 12 more to go 😅 thank you again for this awesome pattern and tutorial! ❤❤
That’s so wonderful to hear!!! Congrats on finishing one square, and great job diving back into crocheting again! Thanks for your wonderful feedback 💕
I ordered the same yarn in the same colours. I LOVE this bag. I made quite a few of those bags but, not yet with a daisy granny square. Those colours spoke to me. So beautiful.
I’m so glad you love the colors I used!!! ❤️ Isn’t it a wonderful yarn? So perfect for bags!
This will be my first crochet project. How many yarns did you use for the whole bag?

Very clear and easy to follow. I'm pleased I found you, and I liken your talent to that of 'Hooked By Robin' as she is also very clear and easy to follow! x

Thank you so much for the amazing tutorial and design - made the bag during the summer for myself and so many people complimented the bag, asked for the tutorial and I was able to share my love for crochet. Made it! Love it! Perfect easy pattern. Thankyou!!!❤
You’re very welcome 🩷 Thanks for your wonderful feedback!
@good idea, thank you
I'm just skipping through this video. It's so detailed and well made that I can't wait to make it. I would love a handmade bag
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback and support 🥰 Enjoy making your bag!
Hi. I love this pattern n your tutorial.i just completed my bag and I am glad thank you for your contribution.❤

I have 12 of the 12 squares and I'm so close to finishing this but I'm wondering should we block these before sewing or just sew as it is?
Some people like to block the individual squares as they find it easier to seam after blocking! However, if you find that your squares are fairly even and consistent, you can just seam them and block the final bag 👍🏻
❤It turn out awesome thanks so much for the video

How many granny squares u made ?
Hi Ami, when do you turn the bag inside out basically onto the right side? At the end or before you start the strap?
You turn it right side out before you start the strap ☺️
Hi there! Yes that’s right - only the beginning cluster is different from the rest of the clusters! ☺️
@@AllAboutAmiBlog Thank you so much for responding. I appreciate you. 🥰☺️

Do I have to make the waistcoat stich at the Straps?
Btw very good tutorial THANK YOU ❤
Thanks for your kind words! You don’t have to use the waistcoat stitch - you can use regular single crochets!
@@AllAboutAmiBlog OK THANK YOU❤️🫶
@@AllAboutAmiBlog one more question can I also make more then 4 rounds for the Straps to make it thicker?
Thank you. Great tutorial. I am on my third bag and every time I go back to the video. Did anyone make a lining bag for inside this bag?
I think we are doing it the same way then 👍🏻
Thank you for this tutorial!
Yes you can add more rows to make the straps wider!

Hello! I am so happy for this video ❤ Is it right that you have 4 loops before you pull trough on the first petal, and then 5 loops on all the other? Greetings from Norway 🤗🥰

Tipps an alle Deutschen 😊
Ich hatte Schwierigkeiten die richtige Wolle zu finden. Das hier hat für mich geklappt:
-Taupe: jeweils 3 Rollen, je 50g (100m)
(Da stand noch das hier. Keine ahnung was das bedeutet (10X10 CM , 22M; 28R) )
80% Bambus 20% Baumwolle. Habe ich bei Tedox gefunden für je 2,50€
- weiß: da habe ich eine halbe Rolle gebraucht. Also ca. 25g.

@AllAboutAmiBlog your designs are stunning. I made sure to give you a positive review on etsy as well 🥰
This tutorial is so clear! Love this bag. About how long do you think one square takes for someone who is just learning granny squares?
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback 💖 I’m so glad you like the bag! If you are learning granny squares but have some previous crochet experience, I would approximate 30 mins - 1 hour?
It's so beautiful bag...
Thanks so much ❤️
Honestly trying to do the waist stitches were very difficult In the second round and I had to switch to a thinner needle butt I think I'll stich to single crochet in the next view rows for the strap.and I made 180ch because I personally prefer it to be a over the Shoulder strap instead and found 180 fot quite nicely.
Yes some people have chosen to stick with single crochets! Love how you can adjust the strap length to your liking 👍🏻
Do you recommend adding a bag liner? If so, what should I purchase?
You can reference the written pattern on my blog for more clarification too 👍🏻
@@AllAboutAmiBlog thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Its amazing. I'm trying this right now.
I have just one question:
I'm currently whipstitching the squares together, with the wrong side facing me. When I start with the top edging and strap, do I still have te "wrong" side facing me or should I turn the back inside out?
Again, thank you so much!
You’re very welcome! That’s a great question - when you’re working on the top edging and strap, the right side should be facing you! 😊
@@AllAboutAmiBlog thank you so much 💓
Really cute 😍 .I love it!

Hi I love the tutorial but I was just wondering if the bag is turned inside out or not when you are making the strap and top edging?
Thanks for the love 🥰 The bag should be turned right side out (right side facing you) when you’re working the strap and top edging 👍🏻

hi there! great toturial... im here actually to ask about what yarn is the best for making tote bag because i find milk cotton yarn not strong enough to hold my things in the bag.. can you share your opinion maybe on what type of yarn i should try ?? thank you xoxo
Thanks so much for your feedback 🥰 I find that using 100% mercerized cotton is great for bags! It is very strong and durable and does not stretch or pill easily. My favorite yarn to use for crochet bags is 24/7 Cotton 🧶
@@AllAboutAmiBlog thank you for responding !! i will surely try them to make my sister birthday present 🤗🤗

thank you the tutorial is amazing and clear! i used an anti-pilling acrylic yarn with a 3.5 hook and the square turns out small, kinda tight and the stitches are not showing,i am beginner so i don't really know if the yarn is the problem or the size of it or even the hook is too small,if there's a type of yarn or brand would make the stitch more clear and the squares in a fit size please tell me
Thank you for your kind words and feedback about the tutorial!

Thank you so much! For the tank top I used worsted weight level 4 yarn called 24/7 Cotton! ❤️
Thank you so much for the amazing video! For the top edging and strap, if I inadvertently did round 2 without chain 85 (did waistcoat stitch all around), is it okay to keep as is and repeat round 2 again?
You’re welcome! I think it should be okay if you do that 👍🏻
I just found your channel; this bag looks so beautiful! Did you use 100% cotton yarn?
Thanks so much ❤️ Yes I used 100% mercerized cotton for this bag design ☺️
hey!!! loved your pattern.
I'm a tiny bit confused. Round 5 here is made of double crochet. In the purchased pattern version, it is made of half-double crochet.
Sorry if this is a silly question, this will be my first project and I'll purchase the same yarns. How many do I need for 1 bag?
You can see all the yardage info in the pattern (free on my blog) 🧶
Love the tutorial, but I keep ending up with 13 SC when i finish my second round, where am i going wrong? Thanks x
You can check out my video called “Troubleshooting the Crochet Daisy” to see how to count your stitches for that part!
How much yarn will I need for each colour. This will be my first time crocheting and I will buy the necessary yarn
@AllAboutAmiBlog Thanks for the suggestion, that's a good idea!
Why do I skip the stitches before and after the corners in Round 5? What would happen if I don't? 😊 I just try to really understand the thoughts behind a pattern
Thanks for asking! I chose to skip the stitches before and after the corners in Round 5 so it would be less crowded in the corners! I like how this looks so it doesn’t appear as cluttered there ☺️
This Daisy pattern is beautiful.bplease make a top tutorial with this
Thanks for your kind words and suggestion!
Following your tutorial what will be the chest size of this garment? Than you😊
You can see the bust dimensions in the written pattern (free on my blog)! I’ve written out the pattern for 8 different sizes (Small - 5X) ❤️
I was wondering on the petals do i do five yarn overs? Or alternate between four and five?
Only the beginning cluster is different at the very beginning of the round - the rest of the clusters are worked the same (the five yarn overs)!
Love this!! How many balls of yarn do you need fo each colour?
Thanks for your kind words 💖 You can check out my blog post to see the exact yardage of each color! 🧶
J'adore celui qui est tout en blanc ❤❤
Thank you! I love that one too!
Thats so wonderful
Thank you 💕
What do you do with the yarn tail when you finish the granny square?? I feel like you’d be able to see it if you wove it into the edge
