I am amazed at Rich, how in the 2 years of being with you guys , how he has come out of his shell. Not to mention how his overall disposition has changed, he has bloomed into a great man. Congrats, Rich! Beautiful!
Another great video. That Rich is something special. His mother raised him right. The way he spoke to that turtle and took it down to the creek…that man’s building up some karma points.
Your shell base is a 6-8-10 gauge. Would have to research the shell base sizes. Probably a paper cartridge.congratulations to RICH, what a find. I keep telling you that when Rich’s Mom (Lisa?) joins you everyone has a fantastic day.She must be a muse or the finest , and most attractive, good luck charm you could possibly have👏👏👏👏👏👏
This place is a time capsule. Congratulations to each of you. Rich, your mom is a good luck charm. Can't wait until I meet you all next April here in Missouri.
Congrats Rich on your bucket lister and all your great finds as well as the rest of the gang on a great hunt and awesome finds God Bless and happy dirt fishing
Wow, that was fantastic to see Rich score a bucket lister. Well deserved as well. Out of all the metal detecting channels l watch this one is my favourite. I missed seeing my buddy Doug recover some early American history. Well done Jason on yet another great video. Pete (down under).
Congrats Rich! A silver spill under the big ole tree! Good for you!!! Great video! I love watching this channel with all the neat items that are found! Wonderful! ❤
A Big Congrats Rich. Love the Silver Spill. Still remember my first Walker Half Dollar. Congrats to everyone on this particular yard. So many Relics and Coins there. Take Care all of you
I found a 1796 half cent in a jar of buttons....The date was a dead giveaway. The coin itself was very worn but I still managed to clearly identify it. We did ok when we sold this slider that only 1,390 were made. 👍
It still avades me in that hunt as well. Silver dollars yep found those no walking halves. It's because you saved the turtle. The detecting gods are generous.
Great find! Just found my first walker at an old park that just has cattle on it now. The owner gave me permission and finally dug up a 41 walker yesterday. Congrats
Welcome Rich to the silver half dollar club. It always feels good to pull anything silver but a half dollar is an amazing find. Keep up the great work and happy hunting.
Congratulations to Rich on an amazing day of hunting. The walking liberty is a beautiful coin. I think you guys need to get Lynn a machine so she can play in the dirt too! I look forward to the next video. Later!
Lovely house and grounds! A prime location that keeps on giving up prestige finds. As an old Cornishman it does me good to tune into your channel: I learn plenty, which is bang-on! Cheers for taking me along. Well done Rich, and everyone else.
Yep, I'm a proper Cornishman. 'Kernowek' means 'Cornish', in our language. I'm old-school 'Celt'; Breton, Cornish, Eire blood-lines that go way back. I'm 64 years old, a 100% countryman a former farmer, then tin miner when we sold the two dairy farms in the mid '70's . Been metal detecting since a long ways back. Got fed up shooting and the likes. Fed up taking a life...Started with Tesoros. When Jack Giffords boys shuts down the business, I went to Fisher. Bought a F75, which I still have. Biggest mistake; I sold my Tesoro Tejon. I prefer American machines, I love the sparky ones, with that wicked "zip-zip" modulated audio. Waited years for Fisher to bring out an up-to-date SMF. Bought a Legend as I got bored waiting after five or so years. Minelabs don't do it for me: just my preference, nothing against the brand.. Hear tell First Texas may have a SMF machine 'in the making', at last. Fingers crossed, but not holding my breath! Thank you for your considerate reply. "Meur ras" ("Thank you"). Subbed the channel. I've found myself a top-drawer metal detecting channel. Too many 'junkers' out there, in my op.@@dogtagdoug6751
Snapping turtles lay their eggs far upland away from water. The hatchlings are on their own to find water. Small size helps them stay wet under ground cover until they make their way
Congrats to Rich on the Silver Spill. I'm kinda jealous of the Walker. 😄That's awesome! The 1956 quarter looked like it may be a DDO. Was that the case? If not, still an amazing find.
l love watching your show. l am bed bound alot of the time but l love history. Your love of history is evident and l learn much from it. l am so thankful because you teach but your show is without bad language and l can feel safe to show it my youngest grandchildren. Thank you for your inspiring and interesting show. Keep up the good work. By the way, my oldest son collects coins as much as he can. He doesn't have alot of money but he tries and l try to help him. My love of history comes from my parents telling me to never forget what our ancesters did to make us free. Again thank you so much!! You are an inspiration to many....
The pocket tumbler works! I had a copper I couldn’t see any details on and carried it with my change for about 6 months now you can read the date-1846- and see the details. Works great!
major props to Rich for the professional way he fills in the hole after a dig, owners have to appreciate
Thank you! I do try hard not to ruin the lawn. All my years of farming and landscaping paying off
@RichVanWinkle37 Agreed Rich, you help to give all us considerate detectorists a good name!

Thanks! I was so happy to get on there to dig
I am amazed at Rich, how in the 2 years of being with you guys , how he has come out of his shell. Not to mention how his overall disposition has changed, he has bloomed into a great man. Congrats, Rich! Beautiful!
Congrats to Rich on his first silver half. There's nothing quite like seeing big silver pop out ot the hole, and Walkers are so beautiful.

Congratulations Rich & Charlie
Thank you!
I think you got that half because of karma from saving the turtle 😊
It still avades me in that hunt as well. Silver dollars yep found those no walking halves. It's because you saved the turtle. The detecting gods are generous.
Props to Rich, he absolutely killed it. Love that NJ state copper. Young Jedi becomes master, been fun watching him grow into a superb detectorist 💥
Haha thanks! Its so much fun
I wonder if the giant shell casing you found is from a flare round.
I’m thinking it’s the head stamp to a “punt” gun. Used for commercial hunting of waterfowl. Circa late 19th to early 20th century.
Market hunters shotgun shell. Hunters could harvest 50-100 ducks with one shot
That's what I thought 4ga punt gun shell
Man, tell Richard "nicks none" today lol, I said congrats, what an amazing spill and an amazing day!
What a great day! Congrats Rich!
That was awesome to watch ! Nothing better than holding history ..
Great find! Just found my first walker at an old park that just has cattle on it now. The owner gave me permission and finally dug up a 41 walker yesterday. Congrats

Amazing finds! 💥⛏️💍💰 Keep it up! 💪
(fellow detectorists in Buffalo NY)
That’s a common snapping turtle. You don’t have alligator snappers up north. I’ve had the little ones bite me they don’t hurt you at all.
Haha! The only thing shinier than Rich's half dollar was his smile! Great stuff all!!!
Wow!!! Way to go Rich!!! Great Hunt Great Finds!!! God Bless Us All!!!
