yeah, I took them to this permission and we all cleaned house. Such a fun site. Even before they came, I dug 6 largies, a capped bust dime, and some modern silver there.
I thought I was on the wrong channel at first with all the heavy breathing, "oh baby's" and references to holes.........dang boys, this was relic porn at its finest!

The black thing is the lever from a duckbill toggle switch. The rest of the assembly was inside a plated steel can, which probably rusted away.

This afternoon I'm metal detecting my yard again and this time digging at or beyond 10 inches as your finds go deep. Wtf! I ride to CRISFIELD for the weekend hunt for 2days straight dusk til dawn.Couldnt walk Memorial day. Found a marble 4 wheaties then I see this today. All of you were in Beast mode unreal. wow ! I went out to an 1800's house that an old lady was born in and grew up then raised her family in . never hunted she said. 7 hours digging. 1 pitcher of lemonade. I found 21 pull tabs 40 plus square and modern nails 2 memorials and canslaw out the wazoo, I was using a B H tracker 4 and fisher f22 . now I see this , anybody got a tissue. Great hunt guys , GL&HH

This is a question I have been wanting to ask for a while but haven't found the right, recent video to ask it. Besides the obvious, "wearing as jewelry or keeping coins together", what is the purpose of the 'holed' coins? I see you guys get very excited when you find the holes coins and have been wondering for a long time.
Again, I hope you respond but I don't have high expectations, since this video is so old.

I've watched this 3x times now. you guys make me sick...in a good way. my oldest coin to date is 1952 found in my own back yard. I'm hoping I have an 8 hr detecting day ahead of me so I can truly "dig it all".

Unreal on all the finds great work Ive been hunting for about 3 weeks now and found my first Matron the second place I hunted. Then just found today the house next door to were I live was started in 1778 I am ready to hunt it. Thanks for making such great videos.

Kurt, us Brits use spit in tin foil and hold coin enclosed in foil. The silver coin reacts with foil and spit and you can smell something like bad eggs. Then rub with clean cloth. Repeat as necessary.
I know that method. I've used it before. All I wanted to do is get the dirt off. I'm very happy with the results. Thanks Tom

Glad you guys enjoyed coming down to the Eastern Shore. I still can't believe how many coins have come out of that area. Counting the stuff I found before you guys came down, I believe the total is at 9 largies, a 2 reale, (2) 1 reales, (1) 1/2 reale, (2) seated half dimes, a capped bust dime, (2) colonial coppers, (2) trimes, a gold bead, and a variety of 20th century silver. Probably a once in a lifetime honeyhole. I hope you guys can come down in the fall when the fields are ready!

soaked in lemon juice for an hour and then wrap it in foil, pressed for a minute and you will have better results. It works great on silver.
