I love how you dressed up as Anna and showed her obsession of snowman also showing her awkward, excited and sweet personality 🥰✨✨✨✨🥺🥺🥺and especially how the result turned out and now even I wish to try coloring in coloring books ✨🥰✨🥰✨🥰✨
I love this series! The first of your videos I saw was the Tiana one and it REALLY improved my technique. I’m a self-taught illustrator and I really needed to switch from full colored pencil to marker and pencil to be more cost effective with commissions, but I couldn’t figure it out until that video. It was SUPER helpful. Thank you!
I like the fact that you haven't done what I've seen a few others in this challenge do and basically removed 90% of the lines but instead kept the original and showed how much it can change 'just' with colour!
@@SarahRenaeClark I like both ways, but I haven't seen people do it this way, that's why I mentioned it! I'll definitely check out your other videos soon!
just curious, to save the book why not make a copy via a copier of the picture then use a thicker paper to print the picture onto so you can color without loosing the back picture & use your markers without fear of the colors bleeding through? just an idea not sure if good or not
I do this all the time in order to preserve my coloring books. It also allows me to color the same page over again to make changes or improvements if I want to. 👍🏾🙂
This is a great idea. I’ve been coloring IN the book as a part of this particular challenge, but copying to your own paper is definitely a better approach if you’re wanting the best results from your supplies.
Frozen 2 is excellent. My wife and I had a great chill out night and it holds up to rewatching. Christoph's song in the middle is *French Kiss* perfection.
Holy moley and happy day!!! Your awesome, cheeky, and fabulously dorky humor rocked this video. Thanks so much for the extra smiles. The coloring came out just WOW too! That veil/ cape/ windy thing really came out terrific. (And I vote it was a picture frame behind the loaf too haha) Thanks again ya’ll!! Chipper cheerios!!
I love the way you colored this page. I’ve never thought of the way you did the glitter. Coloring with marker then pencil brought your coloring page to a whole other level. Now I will have to try it. Adding the singing was a good touch. You have a good voice, by the way.
I love this series. I'm going out and buying a bunch of children's books to color in 😆. It looks like the Prismas work pretty well on the paper, actually, probably because of the softness. Thanks for doing these, they're so much fun.
I've been coloring my whole life and I've been wanting to finally venture into something new. I found your channel just before the Holidays, ordered some new coloring books and markers, and I'm excited to see what I can do. Thanks for sharing your talent and creativity with the world. Happy holidays!
You’re so funny! I enjoyed this video so much! I received my planning calendar the day before I had surgery this week and I love it! I’ll be coloring a lot in my recovery.
Fascinating and helpful! I am still learning how to use markers, ink and pencils together and your video's are must helpful. Thank you so very much for teaching.
Awesome job. You made a simple kids colouring book. And transformed it into an amazing almost like concept design that Disney would have produced. I feel like I am going to go buy a colouring book and try do the same. Great job. Super inspirational
I love watching you create from black and white to something that looks so real (sorry, I'm not a fan of Frozen; I don't have kids). I have a degree in art and this is getting me back into it, thank you for that! 🎨❤
Every time I see that snowman all I can picture is how Jordan Persegati colors him......Sarah. I think maybe you should try some horror coloring now. And you can do it when you're dressed as Elsa and acting all cheery to add even more "creep factor" to it, LOL! Maybe next Halloween.........
I finally got here...been in hospital. Do You Want to Build a Snowman? is my all-time fav Frozen song...yes, I have been pathetic and depressed since I was a child and I feel those words. I have had Frozen 2 colouring books since last Christmas (it has been difficult to get Frozen books since the second movie came out). I, also, have an Olaf plushie. And I loved the Frozen storyline in the series Once Upon a Time. Please note that in the movie, the staircase is quite flat while the book looks like real stairs, so not so dangerous to ride a bike down. (Voluminous dresses and making a slow entrance was de rigueur in those days, so low, wide steps were needed.) I hope your husband got photos of you in the Anna wig...do they even have photo albums anymore? The difference between my colouring books and today's colouring books is amazing! White flat paper! We had yellow-y pages with a lot of tooth. We, also, used just crayons...8 to a box. Then 16...then...well...24 colours!!!!!!!!!!!!! Died and gone to heaven! But we were happy to the get Crayola and colouring books at all. (The cheap ones were, literally, faintly coloured wax.) So, I do get today's children's colouring books at the Dollar Store. And that is why it is fun to watch you try and lower yourself to thinking like a child and fail. LOL Sadly, a lot of children are already playing games on computers and colouring on computers as well. I loved lying on my stomach on the floor and colouring away. (Also, sitting on the floor in front of the TV...when we finally got one...and being what would now be known as Father's Remote, "Change that channel to 4.")
I bought a Milan kids but the coloring pages are incredible I can’t wait to color in it! coloring book from the dolllar tree here in the USA it’s awesome,
I love how creative you got with this whole video! ❤️ I'm so happy I'm subscribed to your channel, you have so many tips, tricks and instructions on how to do challenging things to color. I didn't know you had a planner. I'll keep an eye out for the new one. I would have loved the 2022 one, but it's pretty late in the year.
There's something to be said for using the markers to lay down a base colour and pencils over the top, you don't have to be as careful with how it's put down as you can clean it up with the pencils. Whereas just using markers you have to be so careful you don't get weird streaks and lines where you don't want them. Looks fantastic, I love watching your creative method!
Way too funny!! Absolutely loved the video, especially Anna!! Informative & entertaining! 💜 Thank you for all your hard work, time, & money to create this video!
My mom and I trace coloring pages onto fabric and paint them with fabric paint then piece them together into a quilt. We're working on frozen now. We had difficulty finding a coloring book with details and large images so we ended up printing ones from online.
That was pretty cool! I wasn't expecting the Anna cosplay :P The colouring was impressive. I need to check your "mixing markers and pencils" video again.
Thanks for another great video 🤩 I am awed by your talent and commitment to making the pages the best they can be. It is great when you talk about the process, I learn heaps. Also, my planner and stickers have arrived, it is so beautiful I am a little bit daunted - I will just have to have a go (as Scotty from Marketing says)!😉
I like alcohol markers, but I’ve done this with other markers too. Alcohol markers seem to be more gentle on the paper. My recent shorts (from my 30 Days of Creativity Challenge) have used Tombow markers (water based) with pencils, so you can see the difference. The benefit is that the Tombow markers don’t bleed through most books.
Do you ever think of colouring in a storybook like this professionally and reading it together with your kids. so they can really enjoy the art/colours?
If I were to critique something, I feel like the bread loaf doesn't blend in quite well, like it's being lit specifically from behind but it makes it look a bit shapeless? Regardless. The background kind of impresses me a lot. I struggle with colouring BGs so. Hats off
Not if they are alcohol markers on regular coloring book paper. Water-based markers won’t bleed if the paper is thick enough, but they don’t blend like alcohol markers. And I’ve heard people recommend a layer of gesso- I haven’t tried this yet.
You are the ONLY artist where I even keep RE-watching the videos even after I have already watched them! Apart from you being a lovely person and so gifted and talented but modest, I appreciate things so much that your videos are REAL , i.e. it can take VERY MUCH time to cover the page, there may be mistakes because of materials OR artists' mistakes, and one thing that has come as an AMAZING understanding to me: COLORA IS EVERYTHING, because if you manage this (which I don't yet) there will be a true 3D effect. Yes, outlining, composition, perspective ... all are important. BUT NOTHING makes a picture come to life as much as the right coloring... It has taken YOUR VIDEOS and you coloring childrens books for me to actually UNDERSTAND this! I see coloring books now with COMPLETELY different eyes and have bought 2 Disney Kinkade coloring books, because I have realized that these may help me to better my coloring by looking at the original. I am so greatful for your work! Please continue to point out coloring books that come like these Disney ones you showed, where the opposite page is colored and one can try on the other page to replicate. This is soooooo helpful!!! And if it is only because it makes me realize why my coloring looks "flat" and 2D. 🤔 Thank you and many greetings from Berlin Germany ♥️🤗🤩🇩🇪
So you haven't seen all of frozen 2....have you watch princess and the frog yet?! 😂 I really must try the marker and pencil combo. It gives your pictures such depth and coverage 💜 gorgeous as per usual Sarah!
Have you tried the Derwent Artist colouring pencils? I bought them and am unsure if they are faulty as they are not very good. But everyone seems to enjoy Derwent. Can you please try them if you haven’t already and see what you think. Thanks
I got my planner today and I LOVE it! I got the sticker book and 3 sticker packs too and they are all amazing! The only downside is having to wait until January 😂😂

Everything looks amazing but I'm stunned by the way Anna's dress turned out. The details on the skirt look magnificent.
For some reason, I can watch you color all day. It is fun to watch and soothing. Keeps me calm and relaxed.
This was fantastic, beautiful work, lovely instruction, theatrics, and goofy-ness.
I do this all the time with my students. I love turning children’s coloring books into masterpieces.

I live in the U.S. and this is just perfect as fall begins to shift into winter! Reminds people what's fun about winter... SNOWMEN!
I love this Sarah series that turns your children's books into true professional works of art. so keep it up.
The depth of colour in this is so impressive.
The artwork looks so COOL after all you are colouring in a 'FROZON ❄️' themed artwork ...the skit though ..a whole another level !!!

I love the way you transform this colouring page of Elsa and Anna from Frozen Fever into art in the movie
This looks beautiful! And you have such a pretty voice for singing too!!
Sarah, this isn't from Frozen 2. It's from a short. Elsa got sick but she wanted to celebrate Anna's birthday.
