- The Fourth episode in this Space Engineers Co-op series, where my friends and I really struggle to make make a train that actually works and a functional train station.

Yeah mate, I love your content. Even your nutty Rimworld series. But having 3 series alternate every week is a bit too disjointed and weird. It would make sense for Skyjack and NSS to alternate every friday, but having Rimworld inbetween there kinda screws up the flow. You may wanna think about having a 2nd release day per week for Rimworld. Mondays or Wednesdays or something.
same for me, though i can understand if YT isnt your fulltime job doing this on the side with like a 9-5 job might not be the easiest. and since rimworld is my second highest playtime game i KNOW how much time it can suck out of you!
Full transparency here... That rimworld episode wasn't even supposed to be a thing yet. I wanted to try my hand at it so I made like a tester episode to see if I could branch out to other games. The reason I had to turn that tester video into a real one was because of technical difficulties with recording Skyjack last week. We ended up having to re-record the entire episode (which honestly worked out cause it was way funnier), but due to the filming issues and lack of time I just had to launch what I had on hand, which in this case was my rimworld episode. I want to get to the point where I can post more videos in a week, so I can do more than just SE stuff but it's been tough. If everything went perfect I could do it, but more often than not I have to rerecord things or change plans mid episode. All of that to say I agree its a little disjointed and it will probs be a while before we hear from Wolf again.

Could you.... and I say this without knowing what's on your train at the moment but.... slap a storage container on the train, link it up to three welders, (or however many it takes to across the rails) and drive forward slowly, while the other two place tracks in front of you? and once you run out of plates, reverse back to the station and refill and repeat?
Also blueprint the track for the straight parts so you can quickly weld up those sections along with the catwalks.
Yea indeed. In fact this is something we have already started doing. We have already begun recording episode 5.

I'm gonna need you to abandon No Suit Survival (which is why I started watching you) and RimWorld (my second most-played game on Steam, behind Space Engineers) so you can just play with your friends more. Funny episode guys! I had an idea while watching this one for the train tracks that I thought I would mention, whether or not you wanna roll with it or not, no worries.
It might be a good to replace one side of the support beams that you have for the tracks with that new passageway ladder blocks. In my mind, it's kinda like an access point for maintenance workers but, realistically, it's just gonna make it easier to make it back to base when the train gets derailed again.

Big brain idea, take the welder arm you used to weld the train, pop off the hinge part and replace it with a small grid 3x3 hing part, then pop a connector ontop of that, boom. You've got a removable docking clamp for the train, *WITH* conveyor access as well!

God I miss this series and all the good natured tomfoolery between you all, without a hint of mean spirited tone. So wholesome and hilarious. Here's hoping for a continuation and conclusion :)

The first rails were made of wood, and even the first trains were really heavy! The rails were scared they'd collapse under the weight, until they got the advice they needed... "Steel yourselves. " So they did.
