Getting broke was probably the most fortunate event to have happened to Mike.
He got calm, started to look back at his wrongdoings, stops hanging out with people that were only with him to steal his money and started being humble

    • @vnpsidugn

thing is though he never became TRULY broke, Mike as a person is worth MILLIONS due to his marketability alone. Most people who are broke can't use their image alone to get opportunities to create millions of dollars.
Still good to see he grew as a person though, more than a lot of people can say.

It is sad watching professional athletes go bankrupt so fast. 80% of NFL players are broke after 3 years of retiring. And honestly, it's not their fault; they never learned how to handle money when they were young.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
HEY THERE 🤗 JESUS IS CALLING YOU TODAY. Turn away from your sins, confess, forsake them and live the victorious life. God bless.
      Revelation 22:12-14

Those who knew him said he was very generous with his money during his career. There's this story of where Mike once left a luxury car parked in the street in NYC and the next day he told a friend of his that he can have it. He bought people houses and paid for their kids education. I mean he never had any money management skills and obviously his promoter was stealing from him. He surrounded himself with vultures. Nice to see that he's at peace now.
