Dumbest Rappers Who Went Broke

- From Birdman to DMX to 50 Cent to Scott Storch, these are the rappers who have actually gone broke in the stupidest ways possible. Some lost mansions in Miami, others had to suffer multiple bankruptcies after being burdened with too much child support. T-Pain's bankruptcy was so brutal that by the end of it, he couldn't even afford Burger King.
These are, Rappers Who Went Broke In The Stupidest Ways.
Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, SunnyV2 XO ❤

17 fatherless kids… wow. I don’t understand how a man can abandon their kid and just move on and have another with another woman and so on. I could never walk out on my son. That’s a weak man thing.
Sounds like he had a breeder fetish. Any sane man would've got a vasectomy after the first time they were sued for child support.
good news is that 17 kids can come together and repay the debt lol
Maybe if people make fun of bots enough, they will fuck off already
Also why would a woman want to have a child with a guy who had so many other kids. I guess the answer is they wanted a piece of the pie
Imagine meeting a woman who has given birth to 6+ kids with each a different father.
Respect to 50 for working his way outta debt and respect to T-Pain for being humble and honest about his situation at the time.
But he wasn’t honest… he was shifting blame by stating he was misled to believe the money would last forever…as if there were no cautionary tales before him. He didn’t diversify he trashed it on material things.
50 didn't go broke he played broke to avoid paying Rick Ross and his baby mama lawsuit.
@Mrwhatever227 yea, I was wondering why the creator didn't bring this up

When you have someone who has no clue how to handle money and grew up poor and all of a sudden they have a lot of money, it is a recipe for going broke unless you are smart and disciplined enough to get a good financial advisor and follow their advice.

I saw MC hammer at Heathrow a few years back around 2018. He was just walking alone at the airport, but wearing the most glorious pair of hammer pants I had ever seen. It took me some time to google him to make sure it was him and I wish I would have talked to him.
Rappers feel like their money is perpetual. What baffles me is how Tyga managed to buy other cars and these dealers dont do a background check if he could afford it
They don't care. As long as Tyga puts up some money up-front, then they repossess the cars later and re-sell them. In all likelihood they sold to Tyga at an inflated price to begin with. Say some car retails for 100k, they say to Tyga my man this is a 120k car but you can drive it today if you give me 40G in cash today. We just set up a car loan for the other 80k. A month later Tyga misses payment, they take the car away and sell it again for 70k, which isn't difficult for a super car with only 300 miles on it. So for a bit extra hustle they managed to sell a car for 110k instead of 100.
@@xx765 the dealer can even re sell it for more and just put " this car use to belong to X rapper".

Its incredibly impressive that 50c managed to get back on his feet in the manner he has
Honestly this is a feel-good video for me. Sure these guys have lost more money than I'll ever own - but it still makes me happy to know I'll never make a single financial decision as stupid as some of these
Tomato tomato I suppose
It just goes to show that the family down the road in a big house with 3 posh cars (etc) often are just as much in the crap as you might be. The only difference is the satisfaction that you haven't wantonly thrown away loads of money in the process.
You don't make financial decisions like these because you don't have the facilities to do so in the first place.
Some people live a life i could be jealous of... but not these people. I just think they cant appreciate anything. If you are buying 60 different cars then it makes me think you dont really love any of them and have one that you feel is yours. The life id be jealous of one is one filled with meaningful choices not riches devoid of flavor
@@user-mv5zt8qd9l wrong. Many “wealthy” people can keep that lifestyle because they don’t make stupid decisions and are smart with what they do also backing and making sure they have enough money behind them, but your also correct their are many people like that and it’s completely utterly stupid. 50 cents wasn't that bad with money compared to the rest of them on the list honestly. 5k for gardening per month isn't as insane as 1million a month for 50+ staff... just made bad investments and was unlucky with the financial crisis, while the rest of the people on the list were completely stupid due to drugs and laziness.

It doesn't matter how much money you have, it all matters in how you save, invest and spend it.
No, under a certain yearly income, roughly 50k, "how much money you have" is absolutely the singular, operative factor.
Really great warning for us to learn from their mistakes, thanks.
I still can’t comprehend how someone can waste millions and millions of dollars in less than two years 😂😂😂😂
It's emotional insecurity/anxiety. They made a lot of money, and are too concerned about their self image. They felt pressured to buy fancy homes/cars, as they felt the pressure to look good and stay relevant.
Cocaine is hullva drug
When you hear that they have over 50 working for them. One of them had a staff of 200. You still have to be bad with money.

how does the government expect you to pay 1.3 million after you get out of prison for being broke
And still want him to pay after he dead
They don't; they just send you back to prison so a private company can pay you 50c an hour to work for them (Larry Lawson explains it).
It's an industry designed to gain cheap labour. Same thing happens to Dad's who come out and are trying to get a job to pay child support. Can't get a job due to criminal record therefore can't pay child support, back to prison they go.
It's still a debt and it's still owed.

To be fair, they usually issue you with payment plans depending on your financial situation. They probably weren’t demanding that money be paid in full immediately after he left prison.

Q) how'd they lose all the money
A) poor life choices
The saddest part is when your money goes you find out who your real friends are. One of my best friends in high school had a very generous father. He'd take not only his son's friends out and about (even to Europe for 2 weeks with an 'allowance' to spend), but also their girlfriends or just a friend of theirs.
His dad hired some real estate guys that lied about their credentials and they did some shady things. Being his dad was the one legally responsible he ended up in jail and later died due to them thinking his diabetes was just a game. All those friends were really well-off to begin with told stories that his dad killed someone or worse. I wasn't a real close friend of his at the time, but we started hanging out during the mess. I asked my parents if he could live with us to finish off high school and they agreed. We only had room enough for a sleeping bag/air mattress in my brother and I's room as my mom and dad were both hospitalized the previous year and had to downsize (due to my dad's job firing all the senior staff to replace with those making fractions of the salaries since those that built the organization had made it sort of turn key).
My friend graduated and ended up in Law Enforcement of all things focusing on going after gangs and organized crimes.
w story bro. underrated comment hope youre still in touch with your friend
Oh damn
This was a nice read! Thanks for sharing and congratulations to your friend for making the best of a bad situation and congratulations to you for not being an awful human and giving your friend that safe place to land!
Your friend is going to murder someone sooner or later.

"A study by researchers at Vanderbilt University found that 78% of former NFL players are either bankrupt or under financial stress within two years of retirement. The study also found that within five years of retirement, an estimated 60% of former NBA players are broke."
That one came out a couple years ago....My thing is these 78% of lotto winners who tanked in less than 5 years behind millions smh

This isnt just rappers or ball players. This is the story of every person that has seen millions at a young age. Especially if they grew up poor.
One of the biggest raw deals in the music is new talent, which, more often than not, don't have experience for the amount of money that starts to come in. Its like winning the lottery. The one who didn't end up like broke probably got financial advisors.
You know what the kicker is? All of those people likely had financial advisors.
So either they had inept advisors, or more likely, they simply did not listen to the advice.
Edit: Actually, I wonder how many on this video got screwed over by crooked advisors? Plenty of stories about such cases.
some are crooked but some also dont care at all. the video even said T-Pain never asked his advisor what he had
just listen to what t-pain said, his accountant told him he was almost broke and he ignored it.
Yeah that can be a factor but some of these guys were being stupid with their money.
An accountant and a financial advisor aren't the same though. An accountant keeps track of what you have while a financial advisor advices where and how you should put your money. What it sounded like was that t-pain took financial advice from a bunch of rappers while ignoring what the only person who knew what he owned was telling him.
dont rule out that this people surronded themself with Yes mens. nobody wants to be the person that sopt the party
