Hi, i have samsung s23 so in regards to sound quality what would be better for me between oppo and samsung buds?
During this sale, you might get buds 2 at 5k, go with the Samsung you will enjoy the perfect connectivity and ecosystem feature as well, and obviously sounds amazing
Here driver details matter, cause all are not single driver earbuds. Samsung does have One woofer and One tweeter unit combined each side for a driver. It's not same as other generic dynamic drivers, similarly oppo's bamboo fiber drivers are way more sensitive than any other drivers which technically goes up to 40KHz (but we can't hear). So with complex tracks, Galaxy buds & Oppo does have have better advantage for instrument separation while maintaining the bass technically.
But, I can't agree that a singer will sound like he/she's singing in front of you, that's way overkill. That's the zone of an good IEM with far better Vertical and Horizontal Soundstage, these are commercial earbuds and they doesn't have that level of vertical soundstage. Though if you are listening to Dolby Atmos enabled tracks like "Dil Diyan Gallan with Apple music" with Samsung, it feels like singer is in front of you, but it messes up with the overall tuning of the earphone.
And Galaxy buds 2 are way above these competitors, it doesn't lack in the bass dept. It has better bass texture (notice the bass guitar textures), tighter bass response (notice the lower boominess) in tracks than Z2 & realme. Oppo being Oppo does have similar & sometimes better texture, but it is also boomy sometimes (In comparison to galaxy buds).
And about codecs, Samsung uses its own Scalable codec which is a variable codec which goes up to 512kbps. And there's no hearable difference with commercial earbuds with 512-990kbps, both are of high standards, and also Scalable support UHQ audio which can go up to 24bit 96KHz, making it a Hi-Res codec also.
And lower codec doesn't mean it will change the sound tuning of an earphone bro. Tuning is a whole different thing. If galaxy buds does have lower boominess it's because their engineers wanted to do that with the low frequencies.
Itna ghuma kar baat karne ki kya zarurat hai mai clearly bol deta hu normal logo k liye ki Samsung mai bass Kam feel hota hai that's it ! Texture wagera itna koi nhi dekhta 😂
And Fun Fact is scalable codec works only in Samsung's flagship phones not in midrange or budget phones

The galaxy buds 2 has in ear detection.
When you put your earbuds it will make a noise and indicate when the buds are inserted...
And it has in ear detection for calls in the wearable app like you can speak a call from the earbuds when they are inserted in your ears and when you remove it, will automatically switch to phone mic and speaker which works on the principal of in ear detection and when you put back the earbuds it will change to galaxy buds mic and speaker...
Plus Anc works only when both ear buds are insterted in your ear which is in ear detection feature...
Just beacuse it doesnt play and pause your music doesnt mean the buds doesnt have in ear detection...
360 deg audio works based on in ear detection sensing the head rotation...
Plus this guy is a waste he doesnt have basic knowledge he is making totally false claims just for views and money dont get fooled , i mean he never checked the details i suppose before comparing, he is saying galaxy buds 2 has ipx7 certification but in reality it is certified with ipx2 only 🤦🤦🤦

I have been using Galaxy Buds 2 Pro since a year and for hours, it doesn't cause any issues but it will obviously gonna cause discomfort if we don't take it out from ears for 3-4 hrs at a stretch, that's common with every tws.

I have my Samsung Buds 2 connected with my Samsung phone and iPad, I just click on the device in bluetooth setting and it gets switched to that device instantly.
If you have a Samsung device then you can use Game Mode to reduce latency. I play BGMI and COD using that mode and don't notice any delay in sound

In a dual device pairing when u get a call on ur phone while watching movie on a laptop ..as soon as u accept the call on phone the buds will automatically switch to phone and u are ready to talk

Completely agree with you . Samsung have more neutral and balanced sound with good sound seperation. On the other hand OnePlus z2 have too much base. But if you prefer calling then just don't buy Samsung buds they are the worst . Z2 have better call quality .
