These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
@@dominikdbdbI had both. And wouldn't of recommended getting the 2s. But after the update that came out tonight, might really be worth it. Depends if you are hard of hearing or not.
I have been using the XM4 for over a year and they sound phenomenal. I have used quite a few other tws as well like Oppo Enco X, Bose QC and Airpods pro but the XM4 completely decimates them. Only issue with the XMs are they are quite large and most people have small ears. So they dnt get a tight fit. So i can understand the low score. However, I assure you that are one of the best out there.. And trust me ..i have listened to a lot of expensive headphones as well (Focal,Audheze, AT,V moda etc) but the XMs are amongst the best i have ever heard..
I have bought XM4 and my ears are not compatible with the size. I love the sound, but I look funny with Sony's buds. I have bought now the Samsung Buds 2 Pro and I hope I will be more satisfied.
@@havoc2810 - They fit in ears much mor comfortable than Sony - Software is 10times better than Sony - ANC is better, because they fit better in my ears. - Sound is great, but Sony has also produces great sound. I am not an audiophille. Sony look a little bit more premiumm, but Samsung is more comfrotable.
Your channel is the reason why I purchased the Sennheiser TW3 when they first came out. I have not regretted that purchase since. I also want to say when I watch your videos I can tell the tremendous amount of effort and time it takes to put into them. Thank you for a wonderful channel.
That's an outstanding way to do a tier list. The clarity, quality and sincerity present throughout the video is just phenomenal. Thank you for this and keep up de good work!
hermano no los compres los skull candy sesh se escuchan mejor, la cancelacion de ruido no la tiene, pero la calidad de sonido no deja escuchar el sonido del exterior
Sound quality is my #1 priority. That's why I ride with the Sennheiser TW3s. And they recently pushed out a firmware update that provides a 5-band equalizer (among other things). Upgrading the eartips with Spinfits is an additional pro-tip. I also have the Momentum 4 cans (as well as the Bose 700s and Sony MX4s). Sennheiser is my favorite for buds and cans.
I had the tw2s, they were amazing, then I got the tw3s, and i loved them, but both me and a friend of mine had issues with them having the screen under the tip fall out after only a few months, how are your holding up?
@@stasasekulic6917 Sounds like it might be a source issue. I have them connected to my Note 9 phone and they're great. Have you done all the firmware updates?
if the XM4s fit in your ears, it might be the best decision to get them. i have to admit it that the size of it is a bit too big for some people even i need to adjust it properly for it to be really stick in my ears. but overall, they are amazing. the sound, the anc, the feature they are awesome definitely my best purchase of 2023
Do not buy them you'll regret it. The recent battery issues will make you wish you had never bought them. It's fucking atrocious and I want my money back.
I bought a XM4 during 2021, died one year later , the left buds battery drained 3 times faster than the right one. Sound quality is good , but battery issue after a year is unbeatable. Got an AirPods Pro afterwards hope it last longer
I think this is a really good way to compare the subjective, in the most objective way possible. Especially with flagship products, they're all fairly close with some squeaking out victories over others in certain categories and vice versa. I think you should keep this format in the future if you haven't already, even if its a single product review. Maybe chart a graph with their overall score against similar products that you put up at the end of the video. one for earbuds, one for headphones, etc etc...
This was a very clear and detailed review I really appreciate that. Especially the sound test in the actual environment. Really helps me with making my choice
Done! I got the sony wf-1000 xm4 1 year and 4 months ago and can say they were the best they lasted all day and had great sound quality. But unfortunately in the last few months I was only get 1.5 hours with anc for some reason. I contacted Sony and there replacing mine with a brand new pair luckily even with warranty being expired.
I'm having issues with mine xm4s currently also, where the left bud will charge then discharge the case and left bud altogether if that makes sense. So only thing charged is the right bud when I go to use it. How did you contact Sony for replacement? I'm not an apple guy but I'm considering some airpods or pixel buds.
@@nivsole0717 I searched Sony support then clicked on there website from there you scroll down to the bottom and click contact support then you fill out what product you have and from there it should give you options to contact the via: live chat, or phone call.
Great video but a small suggestion. I think you should change your format when tallying the final score. In addition to the basic points system, each category should have a different weight factor which will represent how important it is (based on your opinion). For example Sound, Comfort, ANC will have a 1.5 factor, Transparency, Microphone and Battery life will have a 1.3 and Bluetooth Connectivity, Controls, App experience, IPX rating and Additional Features will have standard 1 factor. Then when calculating the final score, multiply each score category by the factor to get a more accurate representation of the actual value of the earbuds.
I agree.. somethin thats really dependent on the user like "Ear-Fit" should have a smaller Factor.. if you look here the MX4s would have a 42/50 if they would fit his ears better.. i think thats not the Factor that puts them last
I feel like the XM4 didnt get a fair chance on sound quality and noise cancelling as they do not fit you properly. The tips dont seem to go deep enough for you.
I agree. Although he did say he has small ears. I have Sonys and I love them. But I also haven't tried all the others he's mentioned. Good video either way.
Bro I've been looking for some good tws since 2 - 3 weeks... Please suggest me something... Pleaseeee.. I hear lot of music, movies, podcasts... Little gaming and call.. And a good ANC
Awesome video brother I just wanted to say the Galaxy Buds pro 2 also have adaptive transparency mode. They reduce wind noise as well and when it stops it goes back to full transparency
And it sounds like sh*t...ambient sound pretty much cuts out everytime the wind blows. First gen didn't have an issue with wind so why did they need to do it. Sennheiser complete unusable with wind too
Fist gen buds pro set to high ambient volume have by far the best android buds' transparency I've tried out of about 10 premium models. They rival my shokz openrun pros
@@edderepa9685 It definitely seems like a rushed experimental feature that shouldn't be on by default. They should have just included as a Labs feature that can be toggled on/off. It sucks that there are no adjustable settings for ambient mode.
Best headphones comparison video I've ever watched! Fantastic job dude. I think I might go for the Oneplus Buds Pro 2, since the microphone and audio quality you rated as a 5, plus the super fast charging and wireless charging. Seems like a win.
Don't let this review dissuade you from the XM4's, they've been my daily drive for almost a year and as someone with a big head/ears they have been phenomenal. The noise cancelling in them is especially phenomenal thanks to the memory foam tips rather than the nylon ones most earbuds use. But now knowing the sizing issue for some people, I can totally understand that they might not work for everyone
no they are actually not worth it due to battery issues. There are thousands of people shit out of luck because sony pushed bad firmware that takes your battery life from 5 hours to 20 minutes. Apparently it cant be fixed.
AVOID the XM4's and the XM5s. The battery is fucked with the newer firmware and Sony Refuses to fix it for those just out of warranty despite it being THEIR FUCK UP!
Yeah, they're all flagship earbuds at the end of the day. They all do some things better than others. It all depends on what your priorities are and also what phone you're using.
Done! I recently got a S23 Ultra. It's a shame the Galaxy buds didn't do so hot. I may be leaning towards the Senhaussers now. Thanks for the detailed video fam.
@@justjayallen8744 the buds sound good my girl has a s23 ultra and I got a iPhone 13 as well as a older Samsung note 10+ and google pixel XL and it sounds good on them. But sennheiser and Sony are also good choices. I got these ear buds called tagry that have a slight rubber hook that secures in your ear really well from Amazon for 25 with prime and they sound excellent for that price and call quality on iPhone and android with them is amazing if you don’t want to spend that much. The music is also nearly audiophile quality in my opinion (I’ve had Sonys, koss, sennheiser, skull candy and many other brands so I know sound quality)
@@robmalcolm8042 thanks bro! I got some white Tagry buds from Amazon that look like Air Pods for this past Christmas. I love them. I recently bought the Galaxy buds 2 Pro in purple. They are amazing. With all the features. I'm spoiled and happy with my purchase. Thanks for all your input and recommendations!
I have XM4 buds for a year now, the best earbuds I've ever owned. But they have issues with battery drain recently. So I'm thinking of switching to new buds. Don't know if if I should switch to Galaxy Buds 2 Pro or wait for XM5 buds 😣 and I recently upgraded my phone to S23 Ultra too.
I liked this ranking except for the part of app and app experience which the Apple airpods pro cant be higher than a 4 since they only work and give you access to all their features if you use an Apple device otherwise they have the worst experience since you cant change anything or even access some of its features like Spatial sound and so on.
I actually bought a pair of TW3 off your recommendation after watching one of your previous videos. First pair started giving high pitched chirping within a month of use, and earbud dropped a substantial amount of volume. Bestbuy totaltech membership had them replaced no questions asked..I really wanted to LOVE the TW3 because of the features and sound quality but once the second pair started giving me the same issues off and on I decided Im done with them. Will probably get the Sonys next.
I had the sony for about 13 months and just 2 weeks ago, my right side battery does not fully charge all the way, and only last about 1 hour. Even if the app tells me they are fully charged, they are not. They do sound great, but after 1 year of use, it is disappointing.
@@r3k_it i decided to go with the Bose QC II because of the fit, wanted to be able to workout comfortably without worrying about them dislodging from my ear. So far im very pleased with sound quality and noise cancellation works unbelievably well, little bit wonky with connectivity on occasion (iphone 11) but hopefully after resetting my phone and deleting a ton of bluetooth connections, they will perform better in that category
I love their sound, but TW3 are absolute garbage quality. I returned 4 pairs (!), before finally getting annoyed enough to give up on them entirely. Chirping sounds, one bud suddenly playing quieter then the other, or one bud outright not working at all. BTW I still have my Senn TW1 which are working flawlessly!
@@crankytec yeah the sound quality was really good on them but its kinda unbelievable that consumers are getting 4 pairs of them and having same quality. Bose QC 2 has done me great so far. Sound quality is there, battery lasts forever, extremely comfortable, and they work!! Not to mention the noice cancellation is the best I’ve ever experienced (in ear or on ear). Highly recommend
@@kaelenkoontz2723 Even though I was not eligible for a refund any longer, after my online shop saw I had to return them 4 times, they gave me my money back anyway. And to think TW1s got so much bad rep for issues they initially had, when they are the ones still working without any issues all these years after I bought them. Glad you are enjoying the Bose QCs.
Apple Airpods pro 2 spoiled me too much. Now I cant go out without it on my ear. It's so comfy and you barely feel it on your ears. The noise cancelling is phenomenal. You can adjust your transparency mode base on how you like. I had mine only catch conversation and block out loud sounds. The music is also very immersive. Idk if every buds has this but the decibel checker (where you can actually see how much decibel the sound your currently listening) is also neat to keep my sound volume in check cuz I have sensitive ear.
I own these and will defenetly give Sennheiswer TW3 the #1 spot after the new firmware update with the personalized settings, they sound so good, It's all I have been using.
I might give the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 3 or Bose QuietComfort a try. I been using Beats Fit Pro for a while and I feel like I'm not getting it's full potential because I'm not an iPhone user which is disappointing. Only reason I dont use other brands is because I do alot of fitness and the Beats are by far the best where I dont have to worry about them falling off. The the physical push to Play/Pause buttons is also another reason why I don't bother trying others. Their ANC is not great also. Thank you for the comparisons!
You will have a great time with the Bose QC2. I have them myself and they are AWESOME. The fit is 10x better then the MT3 so they never fall out of your ears, even when you shake your head for 5 minutes straight, it won't move
Wow I’m surprised at Bose for sound quality. Last I heard of some over ears from a friend they were just loud and not too clear. Generally they are known for very good noise cancellation though if that’s your thing. Good to see Sony not at the highest not that I don’t like Sony I do but I do feel they fell off since the older days. And yet many reviews say they are the best for the money in this type of category. Sennheiser I had a pair of cheaper wired ear buds years ago they sounded good but not as clear as the momentum probably sound. Galaxy buds sound good from what I’ve tried. In the lower price for ear buds tagry in ear buds (they look like a small hook that help secure in your ears not the other ones that look like fake AirPods) those are very good they have a 4.8 rating for reviews which helped me get them. I got them 25 on amazon but they are about 30 without prime. Those have amazing sound quality and call quality too which is hard to find at that low of a price but man is the music clear and separated well for the price! Sounds better than the Sonys I have around that price. Another decent one for the price are j lab air buds as well.
I love how unbiased and practical your reviews are. Your videos are clear, you seem so sincere, and is a pleasure to listen to you. I especially enjoy how your videos are not glammed up.
For giveaway: Done Anyways, nice video👍 While the Buds2 Pro ended up in second to last, I think I'll go for them since I already have a Samsung device and it seems to check the things that I like most👍
My absolute go to, if I had to pick one..AirPods pro 2. That magic that removes the underwater/ stethoscope effect . That is worth its weight in gold. That alone makes them better than all of the rest.
I have tested several times. I get ear fatigue from my Buds Pro 2. have contacted Samsumg. With any luck I will get my money back. The charging contacts are also not gold plated like everyone else, and nickel. Maybe that's the reason. Many people have already reported it. Now I have bought the Sony WF-1000XM5. No ear pain, itching or anything else. I already have some inears, these are the best I've ever had. I love them. And the sound is amazing - My music has never sounded like this - it makes a difference! I love the foam - no silicone. No pain even after hours. I also use it with my Valve Index for VR gaming. Just perfect, even after hours.
I was waiting for that ranking man. I've already seen your review on MTW3 and this test summed everything up, at the end of the year I will buy MTW3 + foam tips that are supposed to improve bass, comfort and ANC. I was also considering the XM4 but after watching dozens of opinions and comparative articles, I know that MTW3 is what I'm looking for. Sound quality is better and bass is stronger(not only this aspects are better) which is the most important fact for me and also these foam tips will make the bass even more powerful. Even the fact that I am the owner of an iPhone won't change my choice. Thanks a lot man, you're the best❤❤
I got the XM4s but they were so uncomfortable I then grabbed a pair of silicon eartips (the foam really hurt), AND the MTW3s (I'm alternating between the two pairs for the next week before I decide which one to keep). The XM4s do feel better with the replacement eartips but they are still way less secure-feeling than the MTW3s because of their bulkiness. As for the sound quality, to my untrained ears, I've found that EQ settings can make both sound amazing (depending on preference). HOWEVER, I find the MTW3s controls way easier to use (forcing you to have only one function relegated to each earbud is really annoying with Sony). On the other hand, the XM4s work with "FIND MY DEVICE" in Google which means I feel less stressed that I'll lose them. All in all, I think they are VERY close. I'm leaning towards keeping the MTW3s but it's not a blow-out. If you can try out both, I would strongly suggest it.
I tried the Buds 2 Pro, the Sony xm4 and the Senn mtw3. The Sennheisers were by far the most comfortable and they had the best sound. I'm really happy with them.
Good video! Can you tell me how the bass is on the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 compared to the Galaxy Buds+? (2020) I got a pair of those on sale & liked them, but decided to return them because of the weak bass. I loved the bass & overall sound of the Sony XM 3, but sold them because they were way too bulky. Looking for a good compromise. I think the XM 4 would still be too big.
Been a while since ive used the buds+, so its hard to say. If you're not opposed to stem style, checkout Oneplus Buds Pro 2 or JBL Live Pro 2 for strong bass.
@@CEONTHEMAKING Thx so much for answering me! I'll definitely look into those 2. 😎 I actually prefer the stems. I enjoyed my Airpods Pro for the brief time I had an iPhone. Comfortable enough to lie on my side with them in. Great sound, but poor bass.
WOW!!! WHAT A GREAT VIDEO!!! Honestly, loved it as soon as it started, not only very professional but it finally gave me my decision on which type of earbuds I wanted to purchase. I recently left the dinosaur era of wired skull candy earphones and ear buds which the closest I came to Bluetooth were the active sport skull candy which still had a wire behind my neck or in front. Now I just bought the beats fit pros and I was very disappointed in how they sounded, especially being beats I expected more bass and at least a way to fix the EQ which there was no option to do. I was also disappointed in the way that they fit, I have small ears too and the little wing was just highly uncomfortable. I tried my brothers studio beats earbuds and the bass was ok, he complains about them falling out his ears but they are a little smaller on him since he has big ears. So far, I’m debating on Sennheiser or Bose 😅! Thanks for the great video!
i have wf1000xm4 but I'm thinking to buy others which should i get?, i dont like apple btw but i only care about the best anc and the best sound everything else doesn't matter for me
Reviews are basically subjective,so it defers person to person,I also felt Samsung's call quality and transparency mode are amongst the best, they must improve ANC in higher frequency though.
@@sharifkhan-yv9pg i wanted to buy it but some users says it has an problem with anc and high level sound!? Now i have 2 choice this one and realme buds air 2 and confused
@@knowwork9 I think you are talking about samsung buds 2 pro,it's ANC is very good in terms of Lower Frequency Sound, but struggles a bit in higher frequency, and Sound is Exceptionally Good If you have a samsung Phone, but if you own a other brand phone, you will regret because you can not take advantage of its full potential, realme's air 3 is very good for ANC but it's call quality is pathetic, though its sound and multi device pairing is very good.
Any chance you can review the poly free 60 earbuds? Curious how they compare with the iPods. They are meant for business users but have some really cool features.
This video was just want I needed.. I bought the quitecomfort II and the voice quality for phone calls is terrible and I could understand why people copmplained. I will be returning them and getting the airpods instead. Thanks for the great video. I dont understand how bose made a pair of earbuds for $300 and they missed the mark on call quailty that bad.
Done Hopefully I could get those quietcomfort 😃 by the way would you recommend the q45 or wh 1000xm5 I'm going camping next week so really want to cancel noise out
I always thought buds was a great invention. Think about it-I remember when cellphones first came out-eceryine had Nokia because they were cheap and available. Unfortunately, prices have kept me from getting ezrbuds because fixed income. I still keep up with the latest and the greatest! Keep up the great work!
honestly man if you want audio quality that can beat all of these go wired. like moondrop, kbears, kz, or cca. or anything made by linsoul. but having wireless is nice to.. just a shame they want so much money for this stuff.
Hey bro thanks for your video. do you have a chart or something where i can compare all of this in one click glance? There are some things that are really really important for me: e.g. fitting in the ear, while other things that don't matter (to me) ANC. I want to quickly gauge all of that with YOUR EXPERT opinion. PLMK?
Thank you for all your great information and testing I just got a set of the Apple air pods pro and have only used them once I didn't know that had so much more to offer until i saw your video THANKS AGAIN
Great video! I'm happy with the AirPod Pro (2nd Gen) for the moment... can't wait to see when Sony releases the WF-XM5 this year - hopefully a smaller footprint.
It's either smaller driver and battery or bigger battery and driver, Sony just made a headset for serious sound addicts cuz the rest are looking for size and comfort.
Skeptical about the galaxy pro buds 2 because the 1st gen ones doesn't fit will in my ears. Have to reposition them so often and always slips out whenever I'm working out
I have very small ears as well. I wish that samsung would've kept the oval shape that goes directly into your ear like its predecessor because having it perfectly round made it difficult. Well, I bought Geek Squad Cert pair, but I only had 2 options for my earbuds and the smallest ones made it loose and the large are too big. I'm sure if I had a med size of the Bud2 Pro, it would've felt more comfortable. Thankfully I still had the box for my Bud Pro and had a med size since all the cushions sizes were overall small. The large for the original bud pro look large and the pro 2 "large" looks like an extra large in comparison. I'm wearing my original bud pro med size cushions with my bud2 pros set and its far more comfortable. One this for sure is, the bud2 pro definitely stays in my ear far better than the original pros.
Very Informative Video. I read so much reviews but here I found more constructive feedback and made me choose what I want. Thank you for creating such a amazing video.
Done. I currently have the sonys and they fit better than the AirPods for me, yet they are so bulky and their sound quality on call isn’t as great. For the past 2 days I’ve been wearing Samsung Live buds. Sound quality sucks, everything sounds far away, and the sound doesn’t stay in the buds and ppl near me can hear it. ANC is literally none existant. However the fit is great, it doesn’t fall out often, Is there any earbuds similar to these…?
Great job with your video and reviews. You are a natural and have a great calm voice and speech pattern. If you happen to know, are there any high quality ear pods that are identical and not specific to R/L ears? I am deaf in one ear and would prefer them the be identical so I can get twice the battery life by using both of them in my left ear.
This video just helped me out a lot.. i was really having a hard time deciding! Also the real test outside made it so much better. Great work man keep it up.
Out of all the stem earbuds out there which one or ones would be the closest to matching AirPods Pro when it comes to the transparency features that can amplify voices?
Done! What about the bang and olufsen eq and ex? Like your ranking, but can you expand the sound quality categories, like the best bass, treble, and spatial audio.
I think the airpods Pro2 have sound like Sennheiser, about local maybe a lack bass but balanced and tight bass too. Also Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio are at the top,is it?
It was a very good comparison video, thank you. I would be very happy if you have any experience with Beyerdynamic Free Byrd, tell us about it and compare it with Bose quietcomfort earbuds ii.
What is the customizable eq? Is it like a updated version of sound quality and audio in the settings? I'm about to get a s23plus and I hope that it's true. Or is it some 3rd party app?
I have had a Samsung buds 2 pro for about 3 weeks, and I got the feature to isolate sudden loud noises or wind noise when the awareness mode is activated. I do not know if it is available after an update or not, but I would like to note that because you did not mention it in your video
I am about to buy new wireless earbuds set. After lots of reading and watching videos, finally, I found this one the best and the one that answers all of my questions. Good job
@@305dadecounty305 they do an outstanding job of filtering out background noise on phonecalls. Made numerous phonecalls using them and have had zero complaints about the call quality, unlike my Sennheiser MTW2's. At the time it was a toss up between these or the Technics but I got the Libertys on sale. The only cons are they're a bit big and ugly and the rubber wings have started to get a bit loose after over a year of use but no regrets whatsover, I still use them all the time.
Not sure how feasible this would be for anyone that isnt a frequent air traveler, however something missing from almost every YT review for any earbud or headphone is ANC while in an aircraft. Alot state what SHOULD happen. Speaking from experiences (limited in range of headphones with ANC) A JBL set i had experienced consisten popping and crackling during take off and landing, like the headphone didnt know what to do with that sort of noise. XM4 didnt have this problem but curious how the others actually do in this area.
Which phone would you choose? The iPhone 14 plus or iPhone 14 pro? I just want a iPhone for my airpod pros for music and running. Are the features of the iPhone 14 pro really good? Also done! lol
I just purchased the Amazon Echo Buds 21 and 23 on sale for Prime Day. I wonder how the 21's compare to these, even though they aren't really "premium." I got them mostly for riding airplanes and talking in windy environments, but truth be told, I'm not a fan of IEMs. I just don't like the feeling of my earholes getting penetrated. I much more prefer the semi-open design, hence also purchasing the 23's. My daily drivers are also regular (non-pro) AirPod 3s for the same reason. By the way, keep up the great work! I just found you, and instantly subscribed!
This is my first time with one of your videos and I have to say that you present your thoughts and information in a very clear and concise manner. Your explanations and ranking set you apart from most others on UA-cam and I will be coming back to hear more from you, thanks.
Hello, I'm only interested in ANC and nothing else, I want cut off noise from my factory and avoid deafness, Currently using free Samsung buds 2, tried Apple airpods Pro 2 and they do a better job, so i was wondering if realme buds air 5 pro does even better job at ANC ? i wanted to know how the best TWS i.e. Apple airpods pro, Sony xm5, Bose quiet comfort compare to Oppo enco air 3 and Realme buds air 5 pro as they advertise 50db ANC.
I’m glad you did a comparison ranking between the major brands because I don’t really use any minor brands anymore Also mad love and respect 🫡 to you keep up the great work of Done
Never owned a pair of air pods before simply because im a samsung user and the eco system is set up for iPhone the same goes for the galaxy buds ive had the a pair of sony link buds s and loved them there so good for the size of them
Im looking for an alternative pair to my galaxy buds2 pro, im looking for better ANC though my main priority is audio clarity. I have been looking at the bose quiet comfort 2s, and the senhiser momentom 3s, not sure which would be worth the change or should I wait for next gen buds?
Thank you, but can I use the JBL headphones with only one side, right or left, and control the properties, or is there only one main side? Since I own an old version of JBL + Sony, and they only have one main side As I own Samsung bods, and they have the feature to control in either direction
Great video! I love seeing those KC landmarks in the background. I saw the mic test, and was like, "Hey, he's on crosswalk above SW Trafficway!" I know right where that shot was taken. 💪
Bought the Sony WF-1000XM4 about 2 years ago. 2600 hours later, the only issue is the right ear bud battery degradation is annoying. I only get 1.5hrs usage now before needing to charge.
Shout out to the OnePlus Pro 2's! So often overlooked and are an amazing earbuds, nevermind the price difference to the rest. I have used all of these buds (Inhave issues lol) and I have 2 daily drivers cuz they're both amazing and cannot decide on just one !OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and Sennheiser TW3.
Done and thank you for the review it definitely got me thinking about which one to pick and im thinking its probably going to be the sennheiser but I'm not 1000% sure yet
Amazing review. Suggestion: One more point you should have added: Warranty period and Service. Sennheiser provides 2 years of warranty and quick service. I am using one and got an issue in left earbuds, I raised a complaint and they gave me new pair as a replacement. Later I realised it was an issue of factory reset. But anyways I am completely satisfied with the product and service
Done. Great video as usual! What a great timing for this vid to drop lmao. Recently I've been watching yours' and many other reviews looking for some premium tws buds to replace my trusty old fiil t1x (had them for 3 years, batteries are giving up and i've been having some issues with connection lately. They were a steal considering the sound quality for just $45).
Did you get it? If not- don't. Because XM4 buds have an issue with battery drain after the last couple of updates. They'd drop from full charge to 20% within 30 mins-1 hour. Unless it's still under warranty to send it for a fix/service.
Help me, with the Sony xm4 do you need a Sony charger for them to work and keep charge for ages. I'm using some other charger and they do not last long, I've used the app and it's in the latest update, please help lol

I'm using samsung bud 2 pro since a year, that is the one of the best earbuds I ever used, highly recommended.

Did you tried Technics earbuds bud?
I have bought XM4 and my ears are not compatible with the size. I love the sound, but I look funny with Sony's buds. I have bought now the Samsung Buds 2 Pro and I hope I will be more satisfied.

- Software is 10times better than Sony
- ANC is better, because they fit better in my ears.

How did you fix low volume, bass and mediocre sound on MX4s, mine sound like lowered KZ EDX that I have payed few bucks....?
@@stasasekulic6917 What do you have them connected to? Other than a few equalizer tweaks, I didn't have to do anything special.

@SuperIvanDS Yeah, I loved them for a while when i first got them, but now I just had one earbud go from ~70% to dead in less than an hour
I bought a XM4 during 2021, died one year later , the left buds battery drained 3 times faster than the right one. Sound quality is good , but battery issue after a year is unbeatable. Got an AirPods Pro afterwards hope it last longer
As on today price is a big differenciater as well. Sony costs more than twice right now in india. Apple costs twice. Samsung is a steal at that price
So what is your choice ?
This is such a high quality review, unbiased, not just reading the spec sheet, multiple tests... Love it. Subscribed!
Really, didn't feel fair though he didn't even test the battery durability just gone with the specs
I agree.. somethin thats really dependent on the user like "Ear-Fit" should have a smaller Factor.. if you look here the MX4s would have a 42/50 if they would fit his ears better.. i think thats not the Factor that puts them last
A weight factor for something like this is personal. You can take his final scores and apply your own weights to your preference.

Awesome video brother I just wanted to say the Galaxy Buds pro 2 also have adaptive transparency mode. They reduce wind noise as well and when it stops it goes back to full transparency
Thanks bro
Yes it's true and it's nowhere mentioned neither by samsung nor reviews but I found it accidentally.
Did you purchase the OnePlus buds pro 2?
Don't let this review dissuade you from the XM4's, they've been my daily drive for almost a year and as someone with a big head/ears they have been phenomenal. The noise cancelling in them is especially phenomenal thanks to the memory foam tips rather than the nylon ones most earbuds use. But now knowing the sizing issue for some people, I can totally understand that they might not work for everyone
He didn’t say they are bad though.
4 out of 5 is excellent.
But consider that after a year many user like me had battery issues with only one bud. Actually I don’t recommend for this issue
no they are actually not worth it due to battery issues.
This channel is the reason why earbuds should continue to be made so we can continue reviewing and comparing them 😊

@@justjayallen8744 the buds sound good my girl has a s23 ultra and I got a iPhone 13 as well as a older Samsung note 10+ and google pixel XL and it sounds good on them.
I just got the Bose earbuds and they are phenomenal! I’m in love with them!
Might keep the Fit Pro for workouts and grab something like the Bose for Daily Drivers.
You will have a great time with the Bose QC2. I have them myself and they are AWESOME. The fit is 10x better then the MT3 so they never fall out of your ears, even when you shake your head for 5 minutes straight, it won't move
Done nice ranking system I enjoyed the video very thorough I must say

Anyways, nice video👍 While the Buds2 Pro ended up in second to last, I think I'll go for them since I already have a Samsung device and it seems to check the things that I like most👍
My absolute go to, if I had to pick one..AirPods pro 2. That magic that removes the underwater/ stethoscope effect . That is worth its weight in gold. That alone makes them better than all of the rest.

Glad to hear that!
Glad you found the video helpful
@@BeierFilms All right, I will try to try both, thanks for opinion.
MTW3 with Comply tips… bass and sub bass is amazing. Even deeper than the B&O EX or B&W Pi7 with the same tips.

Great video! I'm happy with the AirPod Pro (2nd Gen) for the moment... can't wait to see when Sony releases the WF-XM5 this year - hopefully a smaller footprint.
I hope so too!
It's either smaller driver and battery or bigger battery and driver, Sony just made a headset for serious sound addicts cuz the rest are looking for size and comfort.
@@TFQ1 guess we'll just have to find out...either way I'll be picking up a pair, and hopefully make them my daily drivers
Skeptical about the galaxy pro buds 2 because the 1st gen ones doesn't fit will in my ears. Have to reposition them so often and always slips out whenever I'm working out
I dislike that or when im moving a lot or even while chewing food.
If you consider the bugs and ease of use i think buds2 pro and airpods will have the highest score. Sennheiser, bose and sony are plagued with bugs.

The only cons are they're a bit big and ugly and the rubber wings have started to get a bit loose after over a year of use but no regrets whatsover, I still use them all the time.
@@mrwh1p569 nice. So is it the liberty 3 pros that you have or the liberty 4?
@@305dadecounty305Liberty 3 Pro
Not sure how feasible this would be for anyone that isnt a frequent air traveler, however something missing from almost every YT review for any earbud or headphone is ANC while in an aircraft. Alot state what SHOULD happen. Speaking from experiences (limited in range of headphones with ANC) A JBL set i had experienced consisten popping and crackling during take off and landing, like the headphone didnt know what to do with that sort of noise. XM4 didnt have this problem but curious how the others actually do in this area.
Would love to throw the Jabra Elite 85T and Poly voyager Free 60 UC into the mix
Which phone would you choose? The iPhone 14 plus or iPhone 14 pro? I just want a iPhone for my airpod pros for music and running. Are the features of the iPhone 14 pro really good? Also done! lol
Do you guys have a problem with right bud of tws 2 not working consistently ? And does tws 3 have the same problem?
Sennheiser mtw 3 has a new update 5 equalizer bar now. Share your thoughts on it bro. Plz
Personalized sound sounds way better than using the 5-band, check it out
hello from Russia, please tell me which ones are better to take о one vanplus or sony?
This is my first time with one of your videos and I have to say that you present your thoughts and information in a very clear and concise manner. Your explanations and ranking set you apart from most others on UA-cam and I will be coming back to hear more from you, thanks.
Thank you!
Hello, I'm only interested in ANC and nothing else,
I want cut off noise from my factory and avoid deafness,
Currently using free Samsung buds 2, tried Apple airpods Pro 2 and they do a better job, so i was wondering if realme buds air 5 pro does even better job at ANC ?
i wanted to know how the best TWS i.e. Apple airpods pro, Sony xm5, Bose quiet comfort compare to Oppo enco air 3 and Realme buds air 5 pro as they advertise 50db ANC.
I’m glad you did a comparison ranking between the major brands because I don’t really use any minor brands anymore Also mad love and respect 🫡 to you keep up the great work of Done
they could give better price/sound ratio though
Since I own an old version of JBL + Sony, and they only have one main side
As I own Samsung bods, and they have the feature to control in either direction
Great video! I love seeing those KC landmarks in the background. I saw the mic test, and was like, "Hey, he's on crosswalk above SW Trafficway!" I know right where that shot was taken. 💪
Thanks for the detailed break down on each, super helpful.
Why don't you have *Google pixal buds pro* 😢😢😢😢
What about 1 more evo . If you put them in the video, wouldn't they be worth the price? Or are they already too old?
I would really love to see you review the Status Between Pro and Status Between 3ANC, and how you feel they compare to your Rankings
But anyways I am completely satisfied with the product and service
should i replace my sony xm4 with the mometum? i am a bass guy and bass is not powerfull on the xm4.. But the mids sound crazy though.
Thank you for the mic test.
Great video!
I did find sony wf1000xm4 for 130 dolar us should i buy it
And it's clean and not too much used
Did you get it? If not- don't. Because XM4 buds have an issue with battery drain after the last couple of updates. They'd drop from full charge to 20% within 30 mins-1 hour. Unless it's still under warranty to send it for a fix/service.
Help me, with the Sony xm4 do you need a Sony charger for them to work and keep charge for ages. I'm using some other charger and they do not last long, I've used the app and it's in the latest update, please help lol
