- This has got to be one of the most requested comparisons I've ever made and for good reason. Both these earphones are terrific value for their price and these brands have always been the "go to" sets of earphones for majority of people. They're similar on some fronts but have their own characteristics.

This is the most awaited video for me. You correctly highlighted the difference in ANC b/w the two, I have used Enco 3 pro & honestly I didn't like it much. The noise around me wasn't suppressed as much I was expecting it to. And the call quality was just NOT upto the mark for me. I hope realme does the job for me. I'm not much of an audiophile so I guess I can ditch Oppo here as they are the ones with better sound definitely but lack on other features which are important for me.
Thanks for the video. (Intro closeup shots were fantastic)
That's why I purchased realme air 5 pro.... Most people aren't audiophile... ANC, Calling, and Battery ...realme wins 🎉🎉,if the sound is good and comparable, most people won't be able to tell the difference.
nahhhh
true . your comment made me to purchase realme earbuds 🙂

You're the best audio product reviewer on the internet, period. The way you pick out and explain each and every feature of a product just gives the feeling of experiencing it hands on. Excellent work and keep going 🙏
Brilliant in-depth review Sir.
Exactly why i got the Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro is because of the sound quality being an Audiophile and of course, the earbud design. I had realme air 3 pro earlier and didn't like it especially the stems, just check how awkward you look in the mirror. The other small li'l advantanges that realme has is outweight by the fact that the tuning is just perfect on Oppo. The kind of tuning that Oppo has is what exactly an Audiophile will possibility want. Even with the EQ on Realme you can't be able to get the crisp and original bass sound like the oppo. And if you're a musician who pays attention to more details on the music and vocals. Oppo is the clear way to go. Though I'm a basshead, the sound and bass on realme is just little too exagerrated.
This is coming from someone who used Realme earlier.
Good job with the in depth coverage just for couple of earphones. Never seen an in depth video like this anywhere
Thanksssss for your in depth comparison. You earned a subscriber 🎉
Thanks for review.
Oppo is like Apple of Audio Products.

better call qiality than rela me air 5 pro? please suggest
Ok finely what you recommend please tell me bro
Paul can you tune custom EQ for realme buds air 5 pro for best sound similar to oppo?
Is there any difference between Indian and Chinese variant?
Hey, paul, thanx for the exceptional review, it shows the real hard work you put it, just asking I am getting 6 hrs continuous usage with 30 percent volume, anc off, ladac off and half hr calls, remaining video and youtube watch in realme 5 pro, is it OK or should I visit service center
Another top comparison Paul👍🏽
However, I would like to make a suggestion, it would be really interesting to compare all the earbuds you test to the Airpod Pro 2.
Why, because even if it's hard to admit it as an Android fan, the Airpod Pro 2 are today a reference if not the reference in terms of TWS, and most people are actually looking for non-Apple earbuds, quite cheaper, but close to or equivalent to the Airpod Pro 1/2.
🙏🏽
I haven't tested the Airpods Pro yet!
@@PaulsPOV You should think about doing it and especially to keep the Airpod Pro 2 to use them as a benchmark in all your comparisons.
I'm really not a fan of Apple, but we must admit that, the Airpod Pro 2 are today at least number 2 in terms of ANC just behind the Bose QC 2, number 1 in transparency mode and at least in the top 5-10 in terms of sound, microphone in phone call in noisy environment and others metrics.
And above all, the Airpod Pro 2 have a rather neglected feature in earbuds tests and yet very important, they have no or almost no occlusion / body bone problem as soon as you activate the transparency mode.
🙏🏽
If you have to choose one of them witch one wil going to choose?
8:15 Paul got a live audience too 😂💯
🤣
do you guys really use anc most of the times??? i feel cabin pressure type situation whenever i use anc. i keep it in normal mode which is kinda semi anc but not that strong. Guess I'll go with oppo
The reason why Realme buds air 5 pro have better ANC performance is because of the Frequency realme uses is 4000hz compared to oppo's 3000hz frequency range. Please play around with EQ settings on realme air 5 pro to match the sound quality of oppo. In theory realme should sound better due to it having coaxial dual drivers on them. So it must be a matter of tuning and we can try optimizing this through custom EQing.
It is really easy to adjust the custom eq for all the audophiles out there who dont want too much bass and prefer cleaner sound. No one almost talks about custom EQ. Try this one guys and you will see realme 5 pro will come close to oppo's sound signature. Oppo on the other hand , doesn't even offer custom EQ options.
Bother if you have custom EQ for realme pls share it
Can you provide me custom EQ setting that will be greatful
what eq setting do u reccomend/use?
@@ramprasath1552I'm inclined towards buying buds air 5 pro but also want good sound quality so was also inclined towards enco air 3 pro.. Reading your comment assured me that I can go with this one. Can you share your custom EQ settings please?
I'm impressed by the kind of details you have provided. Thanks for the video.
I'm a person who spends most of his time on Teams call, over my PC. I do watch video content but occasional music listener.
Based on your review I'm inclined towards Realme due of 6 mics as I felt voice was more focused when compared to Oppo.
Please do suggest.
Yup, if calls are your priority, the Realme does perform better than the oppo.
Hi Paul I really loved your channel and reviews I have a iPhone 11 I want a earbuds that has good noise cancellation and call quality while riding bike can you please suggest what should I get it would be really helpful if you reply

Excellent comparison, Paul. Really digging the in-depth nature of your reviews. I've recently discovered your channel, and I can see you're on you're way to many more subs!
I'll be going with the Realme Air 5 Pro. I currently own the Oppo Air 2 Pro, but the call quality has been subpar on it throughout my usage. The sound quality would be a compromise and so would be the added mid-bass, but that's that!
Also, how would you compare these two with the JBL Tune Beam or the Earfun Air 3 Pro?
Hello bro I would like to buy oppo enco air 2 pro
Is it good for call when bike ride?
@@bharathithangam2268 Hi! As someone who uses it as my daily driver for commute, I don't think it's a great choice. It's great sound-wise. But in terms of calling, it's not great. Especially if you have a helmet on. Even without a helmet, it doesn't have a lot of sensitivity in picking up your voice, plus what voice is there is usually a bit muffled and distorted. I wouldn't recommend it for calling.
Hey, I've always liked the Air2 Pro as an all-rounder. It's usually performed better than other earphones I've tested in the same price range.
The Realme is great for features, but I'd prefer the other two you've mentioned over it on a sound front.

Does realme wireless 5 pro offers same like wireless 2 ???
hi, you should review the soundcore Liberty 3 pro! I have been using these earbuds for the past 10 days and my must say the music sounds so balanced and there is perfect amount of bass and support s Ldac too, I was using the jbl tune 120 TWS before, which is very bass heavy and would muddle the vocals a bit too much for my liking. The one negative i found with the soundcore Liberty 3 pro is ANC is good but not as amazing sony WF-1000XM4 but i prefer the subtle anc is enough for me, I don't find the strong anc of sony comfortable.
So far, all the soundcore products I've heard I've quite liked. They do a good job there.
How about the touch control on these, as some have mentioned that the dedicated touch control grooves on the oppo are better to control than the realme which does not have one and thus in realme we might face issue to switch between tracks or play/pause music?
Realme comes with 3 controls only. Double , triple and touch and hold. But oppo comes with 5. Single, double, triple, touch and hold, also touch and hold for 3 seconds.
Even though realme doesn't have grooves, touch controls are responsive with no accidental touches.
Can you plz compare something head to head or near to Airpods in a budget of 5k. Compare these two also.
Opp Enco 3pro , Oneplus Bud 3, Realme bud 5pro or soundcore lebrty 4nc which one you will suggest to buy in term of audio quality for music
I haven't tested the soundcore but have compared the other three. I prefer the oppo on a sound front. Feel free to give my comparison a look if you haven't already -> ua-cam.com/video/N3d5nkWvBVA/v-deo.html
hey please ! if you can please give us a long term review of JBL tune beam
knowledge on the music 😲
I'm really not into these BT devices as I know they can never match a wired headset. I use a humble JBL c100sl, but that is a class act by itself. I don't expect anyone to agree with me on that. The wires are lousy but I've bought my 3rd over 6 years and kept a 4th new one on standby, that's how much I like the music thru them. Anyway I recently bought a BT neck band for the convenience of it when I'm working on my bike or repairing something. I bought a oppo enco m32 at ₹1300, again a humble device but I liked the sound quality. I do like bass but never at the cost of mids and overall distortion. So now with these big billion sales I've been checking out on these tws although I really don't need them, just for the discounts and curiosity of the craze behind them.
I'm a regular on UA-cam so I've been seeing a whole bunch of reviews on these and been digesting a whole lot of new info on the tech these devices bundle in. After seeing some 10 lakh plus subscriber reviews to a few lakh subscriber reviews, I found a lot of bias, lean and favouritism muddling my own opinion as I'm new to this.
I just stumbled onto your video and looking at the subs, I was about to dismiss it, but since I now have my m32, I kept my phone away and got busy with something with the video playing behind. And man, have I found a Gem, your review was a class act man, it was such a treat listening to you deciphering the sound quality on these 2 devices. I came back and saw the whole video again. You are awesome, and deserve a lot more views and subs. Keep up your great work, nice vocab and command over the language too ☺️💪👏
Thanks Srinath! I think I can point you in the direction of my audiophile reviews on affordable IEMs. There's some terrific stuff there at terrifically good prices. I think you'd appreciate those more than anything wireless. On a sound front, honestly, I've only found one set of wireless earphones to come close to what wired IEMs do. The Yamaha TW-E3B has been my favorite for sound. It's not loaded with gimmicks and features. They've focused on hardware for audio and tuning the drivers. It always comes above any TWS earphones I review, atleast in the sub 10k price bracket. Feel free to have a look at my reviews on it and the affordable IEMs if you'd like to.

The only set of IEMs I've heard that comes close to carrying as much detail as IEMs is the Yamaha TW-E3B. If you're okay not having ANC and other features and sound is your only priority, then E3B is the way to go. Apart from it, the Earfun Air Pro 3 is also a great sounding set of TWS earphones. Feel free to have a look at my reviews on these.

Hey Paul!
I'm considering buying a pair of TWS earbuds under ₹5000, and with the Diwali Sale approaching, I've got my eye on a few options: the Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro, Realme Buds Air 5 and Samsung Galaxy Buds 2.
My playlist mainly includes mainstream hip-hop and pop. I am seeking a balanced sound with good bass and soundstage. I need ANC to block out ambient noise
I love the sound of my CCA CRA+ IEMs if that helps narrow down an option.
What TWS should I buy considering these factors? Please help me choose one
Go for oppo
I haven't tested the Galaxy Buds 2, but if you're coming from IEMs, on a sound front, the only set of TWS earphones I've found coming close to how IEMs perform is the Yamaha TW-E3B.

Hey paul is earfun air pro 3 a better buy than these two ?
I prefer it. It's cleaner sounding compared to these two.
Hey Paul
As these both cost ₹5k, and last year's jbl tune 230nc also is around that price, which one out of the three would you recommend not just as the best sounding, but the best overall?
I can't really recommend the 230NC now. I've had a lot of people mention to me that they've had a lot of charging issues with one bud and have also had issues with the after sales aswell. So between these two, I quite like the oppo, primarily for how it sounds.
@@PaulsPOV alright. Instead of comparing the 230nc, if the tune beam's price is reduced to 5k, then which one of the 3 would you prefer?
I find the Tune Beam to be more fun sounding, so I would prefer that.
@@PaulsPOV gotcha. Thanks!
Can u make video on JBL tunes 770nc
This was an amazing review as always. However, I have a request, it might be too much to ask but, can we get a comparison of the enco air 3 pro against the JBL tune 230nc, it's old ik but it's one of the best sounding under 6k, and the 235nc just launched which is upgraded 230nc, but there's no difference in sound quality. I am deciding to purchase between the oppo or the JBLs as both sound amazing, a comparison would be a god's gift. Sorry if this is too much to ask for. Best Regards ❤
Any idea if Oppo is going to release the Enco X3 any time soon? Not sure if I should buy the Air3 Pro or wait and splurge on the X3.

Since you've been using a realme, you'll appreciate the upgrades the Air 5 Pro has to offer. The oppo is also great, especially from a sound perspective, but it lacks in the call quality area. The realme is an all rounder. It's good at everything really.

EQ only tweaks different frequencies, it won't make it cleaner sounding. The oppo has better detail than the realme. I'd choose the oppo over the Realme since sound is my priority.

All IEMs in the 2k price range are superior in clarity compared to most TWS earphones, especially if you have a Hi-Res source file. If sound is your priority, the 7Hz are a great set to own. Feel free to watch my review on it.
If possible, could you please make a small guide to adjust the eq on realme to make it close enough or equal to oppo!?
Can you please compare them with Airpods pro, yeah well i know there’s too much of a price difference but in my friend circle including me we had three airpods products 2x Airpods 2 and I had Airpods pro and all of them started showing their batteries issues just after passing the warranty period and one of them also faced poor audio output in left earpiece. And all three of us bought at different years and now the problem has reached to a limit that i can’t even listen anything on them for even 10 mins straight. So won’t be spending 18-25k for product that only lasts for a year. I know the quality is far better, connectivity is better, spatial audio, animation and all but quality and audio can be matched like Sony Anc is far better and superior audio codec. But to me TWS more than 8k is not way too pricey and not the worth coz they won’t last longer.
I think its Simple
Audio Wise
Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro 90%
Realme Air 5 Pro 85%
Call Quality
Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro 75%
Realme Air 5 Pro 90%
So if you take sooo many calls in frequently No Brainer its Realme for you but if you take Calls Max 1-2 per day for about 5-10 mins with buds then go with Oppo
And Note
Still Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro is King at 3500 range Even this has better mic Quality than Air 3 Pro for sure atleast 10% better
Hey Paul purchased oppo air 2 pro last month somehow the battery started draining preety fast like just in 20 minutes it drained 30% facing these kind of problem since 2 days what should i do
Is this normal? Please help
It shouldn't drain that fast, but see how long it lasts in a full charge. If it's not holding close to the claimed numbers with volume at 50%, you should report this to customer care.
@@PaulsPOV Previously they were giving about 6 hours playback after taking them out from case and about 30-40% used to get left while putting them back. Easily a single case charge was giving 25-28 hrs playback but suddenly from past 3-4 days the numbers fell drastically

I bought oppo air 2 pro 2 months ago and liked them but sadly I have lost one earbud of it and not sure if I can get that from service center. Seeing your call quality review of realme buds air 5 pro I am confused that should I re buy air 2 pro only or realme is a worth upgrade? Realme did a very good job on call quality this time.
An oppo service center should be able to let you know if they have replacement earbuds.
The realme certainly does a better job of carrying your voice over to your recipients. If that's your priority, it makes sense to pick up a set. I prefer the oppo on a sound front.
@@PaulsPOV I checked with service center they don't have replacement buds.. I am darn confused if I am buying new should I re buy oppo or realme.. I am not an audiophile though..
Also are you planning to review realme air 5 and compare with Oppo air 2 pro as finally realme air 5 have Matt body and not glossy finish and price is same of oppo..
No plans for reviewing the realme air 5 right now. Did you call the oppo customer care number and ask about a replacement bud or a specific service center? If im not mistaken, I think I've heard of oppo giving the option for buying single replacement buds. Sometimes specific service centers avoid this. Worthwhile asking they call center.

🤣 Lol. I didn't mean to confuse you further. By referring to the Realme as a "better all rounder" for you, I meant that since you're already a realme user, it'll work better. Plus, it handles calls better. Sound wise, if you're an audiophile, or if you're very particular about how music sounds to you, only then will the oppo and realme seem like two totally different products on a sound front. The realme sounds fun and is quite enjoyable. It's a significant upgrade from the Buds Air3, and I'd recommend to you all the more since you use a realme phone.
I hope this sorts out all confusion!

21:25 you are contradicting yourself, first saying you can't tell difference between 49 & 50 dB but later on explaining how much difference they have. dBs don't work in linear manner but rather logarithmic scale. SO there might not be much difference between 7dB & 8dB but its much more 49dB & 50dB & it only keeps getting bigger, higher you move onto the dB scale.
I have stated that there isnt a difference with 1dB. Thanks for the lesson though. I also very clearly state that the Realme is isolating higher frequencies that the oppo doesn't. 21:34

@@PaulsPOVIs CCA cxs better than these in terms of sound quality??
If clarity/detail is your priority and you have a Hi-Res source file, all IEMs in the 2k price range I've reviewed are superior to most TWS earphones, including these.
@@PaulsPOV can u suggest any high res source for audio files other than apple music like for free of cost to have a trail on iems ??
Free trials I'm not sure about. I've been using HDTracks for a while they're good and might have a demo album available to download. You could try them.
One day I forgot to charge my neckband and I shift to wired earphones and never looked back 😂 , charging is not a joke
These Tws can be charge using their own case & can last for days.... If u still forgot to charge it even with massive battery capacity, I'm concerned about how's your phone doing, probably low batt all the time xD
and aslo sound clarity is next level compared to tws
Can someone help me
Which one is better in sound quality
Realme buds air 5
Or
Oppo enco buds 2 pro
Both are having same drivers 12.4mm
Bro go for oppo without any doubt
Go for JBL 230 nc
Almost bought the air 5 pro. Until i realised there is No app for IOS 😢
I've used the Realme Link App on iPhones and iPads without a problem.
I also purchased air 5 pro sound quality very poor I don’t like it now I’m regret 😭I’m also ios user
Buds air 5 pro or nothing ear 2 my brain is saying buds air 5 pro heart is saying ear 2 bcz i am getting nothing phone 2😢😂
If your priority is sound, detail, crispness, Nothing Ear2 anyday. The sound controls via the app are also unbelievably good!
Thank you.❤
Hello i have 5k i want to buy enco air 3 pro but after watching calling test i m confused should i buy realme air 5 pro or should go with oppo enco air 2 pro with 3.5k
