onion optional
minced garlic (1 tablespoon)
salt, pepper, garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon of each)
spaghetti sauce (26 ounce jar)
water (1 cup)
cottage cheese, small curd (15 ounces)
mozzarella cheese, shredded (2 cups, divided use)
parmesan cheese, finely shredded (3/4 cup, divided use)
fresh parsley, chopped optional (2 tablespoons)
large egg
lasagna noodles, exact amount needed will vary (16 ounce box)
plus a little more fresh, chopped parsley for garnish - optional
