If you didn't splice them with red connectors how did you do it? You cut each one and just splice them together?
Left the wire exactly for that reason ;)
Do you still have the AUDI truck?
Can you not see the oil temp in the mfd in the little cluster? In mine you can cycle through it

Hi Does the Golf not have an oil temp gauge as standard?
Seems the US spec don’t have oil pressure on the MFI
2010-2012 didn’t get an oil temp gauge, 13+ had them from the factory!
IgnitionTube I have a 2013 MK6 and unaware of the oil temp gauge... I thought we needed a new pan with the sensor
That’s strange. I have a 2010, with the old cluster (so no staging/celebration option). My car doesn’t have the oil level sensor, but it gives me the oil temp in the mfd, just as km/h, fuel economy, etc. I have seen options in vagcom to select what you want to display in the Mfd.
Are you bagging the GTi or springs?

I was waiting to explain how install the oil pressure gauge but you never mentioned 👎🏽
I did explain it. There's a bung that goes into the oil pan, and then a wire that runs to the gauge. Pretty simple!
@@IgnitionTube oh, it’s a temp gauge I was thinking it was the oil pressure gauge that’s what I need the pressure gauge!! sorry about that I don’t see the title lol
