- This is a cute looking very capable crawler w/ lots of clearance. The chassis is modified and the shock setup is new.
Oh, and it has a new roof.. much lighter! ;)

Maybe it's a fool idea, but i'd be tempted to try without shocks (CG should fall down to very low level) + longer rubber bands to allow the wheels to go far down and reach the ground.
If too much flex, the shocks could be replaced by pieces of string as a limiter.
And a video before the mods + same video, on same lines after mods.😉
This is a high clearance design. 😉 It does great side- & downhilling as well as breakovers. CG is kept low by weight distribution and the vehicle keep down by reduced sprung- & rotation-mass.

Still waiting for... One bloody connector i can't find but from chinese sellers. Ordered, but it takes time to arrive (chinese new year holidays)...😴
I've started a new project for a new 1/18 crawling beast. One rule only : 4 wheels and about 170mm long wheelbase. One mission : must pass ! I have in mind something never seen before. Very excited to go further. 😋
