Old surface has been completely removed and each small wooden piece on this item has been cut out, curved/shaped and applied separately by myself. It’s a very unique piece because the surface has been burn out using Japanese method called Shou Sugi Ban.
This piece stands on modern and sturdy hairpin legs.
Inside of this piece was treated with oil.
Refinished with high quality products environmentally friendly.

Completely agree. Most people make it look tacky/ like they just rescued it from a fire. This way it really just brings out the natural grain of the wood, making it pop. Another superb masterpiece. 🙌❤️

An amazing piece, not normally a fan of burning but it does pop the grain which is certainly the case. You are an artist and have such patience to build that pattern, looks amazing!

Madebyraphael , really fascinated with the 3 dimensional illusion of your block pattern.✨ The fact that you selected and arranged the blocks so the grain was not facing the same direction enhanced this effect, and of course, the wood burning.
