u dont need eggs for baking , stovetop flatbread cooking. use a flax egg, chia egg, mashed banana works well, applesauce, baking soda and vinegar together, gram flour, chickpea bean flour

Wow I just made these and they are delicious and oh so fluffy!!😍 I did do a bit of tweaking though: I added some ground cinnamon, splash of vanilla extract, and replaced the maple syrup with Erythritol. Eating these pancakes now with some freshly sliced bananas and YUM! Thank you for this recipe!
I’ve been making these pancakes for my family for a while now using spelt flour. Today, I doubled the recipe and did it in a sheet pan (425 degrees for 7 minutes and then 2 minutes under the broiler, turning pap after 1 minute). It was delicious and great way to make enough for my wife and 2 boys. Thank you!
Just made this! Wow! Wow wow! I tripled the recipe. 1 part AP flour, 2 parts wholemeal flour. Lots more sugar, 2tbsps baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and 1 extra cup of water because my coconut milk is thick. Delicious 😋
Tried these out for breakfast, used regular whole wheat flour, regular milk, and reduced baking powder to a 1tsp, added some chocolate chips, turned out delicious. It's my go to recipe now. Thanks 😊

Couldn't believe it, but it came out awesome! I used a multigrain flour that had whole wheat and other whole grains, and the outcome was the same. Had to add more little milk than here in the this recipe though. Thank you for sharing!

This recipe is by far the best pancake recipe i've found since going vegan!!! i used to make pancakes on saturday mornings in high school, i'd get up before my family and surprise them all with heaping stacks of goodness. not only do i love eating pancakes, but they're nostalgic for me too! i still crave them a lot but every recipe i've tried has been gummy or thin or hasn't cooked right or is fine but doesn't taste the same, and although i've been vegan for two years now, i've been trying to find vegan recipes for even longer! i watched this one on a whim, waiting to roll my eyes, but i made them like you did (but vegan butter instead of coconut oil, and i had rice milk instead of almond) and--WOW they cook the same, TASTE EVEN BETTER, and look beautiful! i'm so pleased. absolutely adding this to my go to recipes!!!

And to top it all off? Peanut butter 😍😍. ( I might add 1/2 cup of oat flour if I know I will have a long day and need energy) Buttt I will try this recipe out tmr !!! P.S If you want it to be gluten free, try almond flour/ meal !!!
They came out great, but I had to add more than one cup of almond milk. Next time I'm using water Instead. The batter was thick and gooey with just one cup. Yummy anyway and they were fluffy and not flat! Thank you for this recipe! 🙌🤗

Tried these they are amazing! Recently got a waffle maker and the batter was even tastier as a waffle! The waffles even held up frozen and then reheated in the toaster for an easy and quick breakfast. We also add a tablespoon or more of a hemp/flax/chia mix for extra fiber and protein and tastes great

Fowzia Jama Take 2 ripe bananas and mash them up well and try to get most of lumps out. Add 1 egg and stir well and that’s your batter. Use a non-stick pan on medium low heat. Now your ready to make your healthy pancakes. They are not a fluffy pancake. They are more like a crepe. I like using plain Greek yogurt in between pancakes with blueberries:)

I always make mine with oat flour that I just grind myself in the blender. I have never had any trouble with them not rising. I do also add a splash of vinegar to my pancake batter though. I am going to try this recipe tomorrow. So excited!
so i literally just made these i used regular unbleached flour and used plant based butter to cook it. they came out waaaaaaaay better than i thought. i think these are literally the best pancakes i have ever had! and i am not just saying that. i am so glad i stumbled upon this video. definitely saving this for the future. thank you so much! also when i cooked it because the flour i was using was a bit denser, i put a lid on top of the pan to cook thoroughly and they came out beyond perfect in every way, even had a nice buttery crunchy edge . the besT!!!!! they were super poofy!
I am from the UK, I was eating 100% ground oat flour pancakes as I watched your recipe, I managed to get them fluffy though just by whipping egg white separately and folding in, they turned out fluffy. Don’t flip though… put them in an oven to finish to keep the lightness !
Clean & Delicious Np 😀 - that said, some people that are gluten intolerant can in fact tolerate Spelt and Kamut. My daughter does ok with Kamut but not Spelt, so I learnt the hard way...😄. Love your videos - keep them coming. 💐
FACTS And don't know where this bullshit rumor started, I learned about it for YEARS. Fun fact is, the first time I heard about it being gluten free was in a correction context saying that spelt does in fact contain gluten.
Did the exact recipe and swapped it with oat flour. It actually turned out pretty good! The texture may be a bit different, but still fluffy ☺ I've also tried adding some greek yogurt to the batter and they were delicious too 🙌

I used Einkorn flour and soy milk and they were delicious. My vegan daughter loved, and so did the non-vegans. Of course, the vegan chocolate chips I added didn't hurt :). Thank you!
I’m not vegan but I am sugar free and lactose intolerant, and I was out of eggs, I used this recipe but with what flour I had, and I added some vanilla extract and a pinch of cinnamon, and instead of maple syrup I added one mashed banana, since I cook just for me I halved the recipe as well, all pancake mixes I’ve tried are too dense and they make me feel sluggish after eating, this was very light yet filling, it didn’t take long to whip up and it’s delicious, lastly I thawed some frozen raspberries and mashed them into a paste as a topping. Overall they are very good and I’ll definitely make them again!

I was looking for this type of pancake recipe and found one on line and it is almost identical to yours and I must say I absolutely prefer them to a traditional pancake recipe. They were so amazing; it was quite impressive. I folded blackberries into my batter, and added cinnamon. I just drizzled maple syrup over and I cooked a big batch to freeze. I really implore everyone to try them this way. As you stated, one would not be able to tell the difference!

I just made mine they came out great I recommend making sure your coconut oil is completely melted cause mine clumped up and separated from the batter

Use buckwheat flour. I always use only buckwheat. They are delicious. We grind our buckwheat in my vitamix.

They came out great, but I had to add more than one cup of almond milk. Next time I'm using water Instead. The batter was thick and gooey with just one cup. Yummy anyway and they were fluffy and not flat! Thank you for this recipe! 🙌🤗

This is an awesome recipe! Serious you cant belive there vegan, so fluffy... and i also like adding protein powder and more plant milk wgen i use protein powder (i use organ vanilla, its vegan and the best) just to add some protein

Tried these they are amazing! Recently got a waffle maker and the batter was even tastier as a waffle! The waffles even held up frozen and then reheated in the toaster for an easy and quick breakfast. We also add a tablespoon or more of a hemp/flax/chia mix for extra fiber and protein and tastes great

Fowzia Jama Take 2 ripe bananas and mash them up well and try to get most of lumps out. Add 1 egg and stir well and that’s your batter. Use a non-stick pan on medium low heat. Now your ready to make your healthy pancakes. They are not a fluffy pancake. They are more like a crepe. I like using plain Greek yogurt in between pancakes with blueberries:)

I always make mine with oat flour that I just grind myself in the blender. I have never had any trouble with them not rising. I do also add a splash of vinegar to my pancake batter though. I am going to try this recipe tomorrow. So excited!

so i literally just made these i used regular unbleached flour and used plant based butter to cook it. they came out waaaaaaaay better than i thought. i think these are literally the best pancakes i have ever had! and i am not just saying that. i am so glad i stumbled upon this video. definitely saving this for the future. thank you so much! also when i cooked it because the flour i was using was a bit denser, i put a lid on top of the pan to cook thoroughly and they came out beyond perfect in every way, even had a nice buttery crunchy edge . the besT!!!!! they were super poofy!

I am from the UK, I was eating 100% ground oat flour pancakes as I watched your recipe, I managed to get them fluffy though just by whipping egg white separately and folding in, they turned out fluffy. Don’t flip though… put them in an oven to finish to keep the lightness !

Clean & Delicious Np 😀 - that said, some people that are gluten intolerant can in fact tolerate Spelt and Kamut. My daughter does ok with Kamut but not Spelt, so I learnt the hard way...😄.

And don't know where this bullshit rumor started, I learned about it for YEARS. Fun fact is, the first time I heard about it being gluten free was in a correction context saying that spelt does in fact contain gluten.
@@JuztMeMe then it has nothing to do with gluten since all of those contain gluten. It'd be a wheat intolerance which is not the same.
Did the exact recipe and swapped it with oat flour. It actually turned out pretty good! The texture may be a bit different, but still fluffy ☺ I've also tried adding some greek yogurt to the batter and they were delicious too 🙌

I used Einkorn flour and soy milk and they were delicious. My vegan daughter loved, and so did the non-vegans. Of course, the vegan chocolate chips I added didn't hurt :). Thank you!

I’m not vegan but I am sugar free and lactose intolerant, and I was out of eggs, I used this recipe but with what flour I had, and I added some vanilla extract and a pinch of cinnamon, and instead of maple syrup I added one mashed banana, since I cook just for me I halved the recipe as well, all pancake mixes I’ve tried are too dense and they make me feel sluggish after eating, this was very light yet filling, it didn’t take long to whip up and it’s delicious, lastly I thawed some frozen raspberries and mashed them into a paste as a topping. Overall they are very good and I’ll definitely make them again!

Hi Dani- I want to try your recipe- it sounds wonderful- but in the recipe you say "baking powder" but in the directions you say "baking soda". I was assuming you meant baking powder but I thought I better ask first. Thanks so much for this recipe- I'm sure I will use it often.

I was looking for this type of pancake recipe and found one on line and it is almost identical to yours and I must say I absolutely prefer them to a traditional pancake recipe. They were so amazing; it was quite impressive. I folded blackberries into my batter, and added cinnamon. I just drizzled maple syrup over and I cooked a big batch to freeze. I really implore everyone to try them this way. As you stated, one would not be able to tell the difference!
