If you pay attention to the tattoo parts, you know how you might get a tat that was inspired by your girl, or one that she picked out, or even her name? Well now imagine having that same tattoo covered up, turned to black. Nothing in the world 🌎 hurts like losing the one you thought was everything! This song is older than y'all! We were super spoiled in the ‘80’d-‘90’s! Most artists could sing well ( at least in their own genre) and then could sing well “ Live” as well. When I first started watching reactions, other reactors would always comment or ask their followers if the artist sung with auto tune. Then most of them would catch themselves saying “ Oh yeah, auto tune didn’t exist back.” I just feel sorry for fans of your generation, and always having to wonder if they’re favorite artist could sing well live or if it was just a front. About 20-30 years ago we were more concerned with whether they would sing live at all or just lip sync during concerts so they could perform crazy dance numbers instead of just singing... There were all kinds of mis-haps because of this, but I think the Biggest Sham was the duo “ Milli-Vanilli” they put out an entire album and even won a Grammy,( but had to return it, because they didn’t sing on their album, it was different people singing, and they were just the facade lip syncing and dancing along”. It was pretty crazy that anyone had the balls to even try to do that! You should check that story out sometime. Soon after... MTV started hosting these “ UnPlugged” sessions to certain artists... basically strip their songs and instruments down to the bare bones & just enjoy the music. It was also a way for the artists to prove they could sing and maybe play with the arrangement of the songs... most of these “ Unplugged” versions are acoustic versions of the studio release. The singer is Eddie Vedder, he grew up thinking he was in a normal family and then one day his mom told him that his father (who was raising him) wasn't his real father. His real father was a friend of the family. The early pearl jam records (ten, vs, vitalogy) explore these feelings of anger and agression quite intensly. The later records show more of a deeper and philisophical spiritual acceptance but still have a lot of good rock songs. This band has also been very political active long before it was cool to do so. They also sued ticketmaster in the early 90's so their fans could have cheaper tickets. There's so much you could say about them. Orginally the members of Pearl Jam were called a band MotherLoveBone. Sadly the lead singer of that band ( Andrew Wood ) overdosed and died. Eddie V. being from San Diego got the call and before they formed Peal Jam , they collaborated with the imfamous Chris Cornell and formed Temple of the Dog for one full lenth album and all were Chris Cornell's songs. Chris was very down to earth with Eddie and made him feel welcomed. Took him out hiking , while he did not need to do this , it was very humble of Chris , considering it was Chris fuckin Cornell. I digress.... All I can say it was magic when they all got together for Temple of the Dog and even more So when they formed Pearl fuckin Jam !!! \m/

This is the only remaining group that came from the grunge era that are still together and doing shows. I believe they are still producing music and have some new stuff on the horizon for release. Other bands from this time and style are, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave, and Soundgarden. All were huge. The reason these bands are not still around is that all the front men have passed, mostly to overdoses. Layne Staley (Alice in Chains), Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots), Chris Cornell (Audioslave, Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog), and Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), may they all rest in peace. Eddie Vedder, and Chris Cornell brought two bands together and formed a supergroup called Temple of the Dog. Give them a listen as well. 2 major hits from them were Say Hello to Heaven, and Hunger Strike. The grunge era of music was all about emotion and feeling of being lost and not necessarily knowing how you fit in the world. All these bands are worth your time of getting to know. The early 90's was full of awesome music, but mostly from the grunge scene. I have a great list of tracks for you to continue on the journey of getting to know more of their music. Great reaction. Eddie Vedder definitely has one of the best voices in rock. If you haven't heard his friend Chris Cornell (Soundgarden/ Audioslave) then that is another journey you need to take. Eddie and Chris got together as Temple of the Dog and did "Hunger Strike". Two of the best voices in music. A must listen.

Eddie Vedder, writes a lot of their music, he was not the original lead singer. However he was what got them noticed. The line "I know Someday you'll have a beautiful life,I know you'll be a star 🌟in somebody's else's sky, but why,why,why, can't it be mine" is everything!!! If you pay attention to the tattoo parts, you know how you might get a tat that was inspired by your girl, or one that she picked out, or even her name? Well now imagine having that same tattoo covered up, turned to black. Nothing in the world 🌎 hurts like losing the one you thought was everything! This song is older than y'all! I really appreciate you guys listening and enjoying it! This has been my favorite song since it dropped💕

We were super spoiled in the ‘80’d-‘90’s! Most artists could sing well ( at least in their own genre) and then could sing well “ Live” as well.
When I first started watching reactions, other reactors would always comment or ask their followers if the artist sung with auto tune. Then most of them would catch themselves saying “ Oh yeah, auto tune didn’t exist back.” I just feel sorry for fans of your generation, and always having to wonder if they’re favorite artist could sing well live or if it was just a front.
About 20-30 years ago we were more concerned with whether they would sing live at all or just lip sync during concerts so they could perform crazy dance numbers instead of just singing...
There were all kinds of mis-haps because of this, but I think the Biggest Sham was the duo “ Milli-Vanilli” they put out an entire album and even won a Grammy,( but had to return it, because they didn’t sing on their album, it was different people singing, and they were just the facade lip syncing and dancing along”.
It was pretty crazy that anyone had the balls to even try to do that! You should check that story out sometime. Soon after... MTV started hosting these “ UnPlugged” sessions to certain artists... basically strip their songs and instruments down to the bare bones & just enjoy the music.
It was also a way for the artists to prove they could sing and maybe play with the arrangement of the songs... most of these “ Unplugged” versions are acoustic versions of the studio release. Anyways... sorry for the novel, great reaction thanks! 👍😎🤘🎵

The singer is Eddie Vedder, he grew up thinking he was in a normal family and then one day his mom told him that his father (who was raising him) wasn't his real father. His real father was a friend of the family. The early pearl jam records (ten, vs, vitalogy) explore these feelings of anger and agression quite intensly. The later records show more of a deeper and philisophical spiritual acceptance but still have a lot of good rock songs. This band has also been very political active long before it was cool to do so. They also sued ticketmaster in the early 90's so their fans could have cheaper tickets. There's so much you could say about them. As for other videos to react to...."Porch (pink pop '92)"....if you think Eddie is intense here...wait until you see that video!!

Orginally the members of Pearl Jam were called a band MotherLoveBone.
Sadly the lead singer of that band ( Andrew Wood ) overdosed and died.
Eddie V. being from San Diego got the call and before they formed Peal Jam , they collaborated with the imfamous Chris Cornell and formed Temple of the Dog for one full lenth album and all were Chris Cornell's songs.
Chris was very down to earth with Eddie and made him feel welcomed.
Took him out hiking , while he did not need to do this , it was very humble of Chris , considering it was Chris fuckin Cornell.
I digress....
All I can say it was magic when they all got together for Temple of the Dog and even more So when they formed Pearl fuckin Jam !!! \m/

Pearl Jam is considered one of the worlds greatest grunge bands. Started in the early 90's and came out of Seattle. Eddie Vedder, front man, has a voice that you know when you hear it. This is the only remaining group that came from the grunge era that are still together and doing shows. I believe they are still producing music and have some new stuff on the horizon for release. Other bands from this time and style are, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave, and Soundgarden. All were huge. The reason these bands are not still around is that all the front men have passed, mostly to overdoses. Layne Staley (Alice in Chains), Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots), Chris Cornell (Audioslave, Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog), and Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), may they all rest in peace. Eddie Vedder, and Chris Cornell brought two bands together and formed a supergroup called Temple of the Dog. Give them a listen as well. 2 major hits from them were Say Hello to Heaven, and Hunger Strike. The grunge era of music was all about emotion and feeling of being lost and not necessarily knowing how you fit in the world. All these bands are worth your time of getting to know. The early 90's was full of awesome music, but mostly from the grunge scene. I have a great list of tracks for you to continue on the journey of getting to know more of their music.
Black - a song that was very personal to Eddie Vedder, that when he heard people singing it around town, he would ask them to stop. It is about a loss in love that hurt him so bad, nothing else existed in the world to him. It is as if he died inside and only saw blackness.
