Go listen to the song Jeremy from this same live set by pearl jam. Its personally my favorite song they did on that set. It's about a kid his name was Jeremy, he went into school one day and shot himself in front of the whole class and killed himself. So nice to see someone recognize "raw talent", Mr Vedder and his Pearl Jam mates were inducted into the Rock n Roll hall of fame some years ago---I think he sings far better than your average rock singer,,,,he means and feel every note from his toes to the tips of his gorgeous curly locks. 😁
If you wanna cry, listen to Last Kiss by Pearl Jam. If you just want an amazing song: listen to Hunger Strike by Temple of The Dog, it's a band that Eddie (this guy) formed with Chris Cornell.

@@AAVVVAAADDAAAKAAADAVRAAA I agree with you 100%
Eddie Vedder is the male equivalent of Stevie Nicks. Incredibly unique voice, amazing stage presence, lots of trinkets for the ears.
I agree 💯
Hey, hey, yeah, uh
Sheets of empty canvas, untouched sheets of clay
Were laid spread out before me as her body once did
All five horizons revolved around her soul as the earth to the sun
Now the air I tasted and breathed has taken a turn, ooh
And all I taught her was everything
Ooh, I know she gave me all that she wore
And now my bitter hands chafe beneath the clouds
Of what was everything
Oh, the pictures have all been washed in black
Tattooed everything
I take a walk outside, I'm surrounded by some kids at play
I can feel their laughter, so why do I sear
Oh and twisted thoughts that spin 'round my head
I'm spinning, oh I'm spinning, how quick the sun can drop away
And now my bitter hands cradle broken glass
Of what was everything
All the pictures have all been washed in black
Tattooed everything
All the love gone bad turned my world to black
Tattooed all I see, all that I am, all I'll be yeah
Oh oh ooh
I know someday you'll have a beautiful life
I know you'll be a star in somebody else's sky, but why
Why, why can't it be, oh can't it be mine?
Ooh, ah yeah, ah ooh
Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo, Doodoo-doo-doo-doodoodoo

Cousin Figel ...yep ...my favorite guitar player 🍄🍑✌️
Thanks for the lyrics.
jennie starrish ...your welcome ✌️
This song is a masterpiece
As a hip hop girl, my sister was a grudge girl, she loved Pearl Jam, she use to scream when she heard him sing this!!
Ahh....Eddie Vedder's iconic vocals could never be mistaken.🥰
Pearl jam was never my favorite back in the day but, the older I get the more they have grown on me. Reminds me of being a teenager when life was carefree.
"Laid spread out before me."..... I like where your mind is at though!
Thats where mine was but it's always there! 😁
God love that beautiful man. Him and Chris Cornell were my heart throbs when I was young 😍 also two of the best male vocals I’ve ever heard
Embarrassing confession: when I was in high school I always wondered if a guy would ever miss me this much. I wondered I could ever effect someone like this
You are human, you could make someone miss you this much for sure.
Shiiiiidd, if he didn't- holler at 'yer boy Terry!
Gurl, 30 years have passed since my HS days, and I still wonder if a guy ever missed me this much...unlikely, but I can definitely say I've missed a guy that much!
@@triphophoney2981 yeah , on both sides , it's crazy and soul crushing all in one AND with the same guy 🤔 it's been 14 years but I remember
“Now I have to become ambidextrous thanks to you”. Classic, that is so fucking great. Please keep cracking me up. “Genetics and kinetics”. OMG. I’m losing it.
Ok, but...now I need "Octavepus" merch. 🤣🤘
The executives wanted Pearl Jam to make a music video for this song but they refused saying it was too personal of a song to make a video for.
Greatest song of all time. Vedder = GOAT
Great song and one of the most memorable live performances I've seen. I've watched it countless times and I'm still impressed by Eddie Vedder's vocal range and control! He puts tons of emotion into his performances! Good stuff!!
Yessss. This is one if my favorite songs. Keep them coming. I love your reactions. They make my day better 🌛🌑🌜🥰
lmao, you had me rolling at his voice
Great react!!🔥🔥🔥

I've heard this song countless times and it gives me chills every time
Watch the "even flow" video.
Also, Eddie Vedder performed with Roger of Pink Floyd at the 12-12-12 concert, "comfortably numb" it was so good.
Dude, I loved that you loved this!! I have been extremely hurt recently and what you had to say about this song really hit home. I thought I was with the one, then she left, and know I’ve found someone else that makes me genuinely happy and excited about life. There is no “one”!!!
Go listen to the song Jeremy from this same live set by pearl jam. Its personally my favorite song they did on that set. It's about a kid his name was Jeremy, he went into school one day and shot himself in front of the whole class and killed himself. He was the quiet kid, and one of the lyrics he says "Jeremy spoke in class today" I dont want to spoil anything else. But I would love to watch you react to it. Love your channel so far btw bro, keep it rockin.
I agree- I do think the official video is quite powerful though- especially for a first timer- then do the live. Just my opinion-🤷🏼♀️
@@kimberlinibambini1988 yes official video!
Best. Best. BEST!
Reaction EVER!
You pretend to be like, high & clownin'.
But you're some kinda dl genius from another universe.
There it is, the best performance you'll ever see. It's all downhill from here
That was an off the charts reaction ! Loved it. Eddie Fedder is a very passionate artist.
Would love to see you do these 2 by Pearl Jam:
Even Flow -(Official Music Video)
Porch - (Live at Pinkpop 1992--you won’t regret it)
So nice to see someone recognize "raw talent", Mr Vedder and his Pearl Jam mates were inducted into the Rock n Roll hall of fame some years ago---I think he sings far better than your average rock singer,,,,he means and feel every note from his toes to the tips of his gorgeous curly locks. 😁
If you wanna cry, listen to Last Kiss by Pearl Jam. If you just want an amazing song: listen to Hunger Strike by Temple of The Dog, it's a band that Eddie (this guy) formed with Chris Cornell.
Nah Eddie didn’t form it. He was invited to sing in it
@@Djerov2 you get my point.
Say Hello to Heaven has better vocals imo. Chris Cornell is amazing.
And “Last KISS” is a covered song originally sung by J Wilson & The Cavaliers 60’s. Yes EV does a great version but let’s see his influences in music first😉
@@carmenmehringer9765 yes I know lol. Just figured I'd offer PJ's version since it went with this one. I heard them playing the original in a store with my girlfriend and I was like "we need to get out of here I'm gonna get emotional." Lol
One of the greatest live recordings of a love song. The passion and conviction tugs all the heart strings.
The singer gave his self chills...Damn...
My favorite Pearl Jam song, even though he messed up on the lyrics, he still pulled off a great performance.
"Let that bitch go!! You trippin'!!" LMAO!! That's good shit!
I liked pearl jam, but in a casual way. I didn't fully appreciate Eddie Vedder's voice until I heard him cover The Who's "Love Reign O'er Me." He nailed it and even enunciated the words. (As compared to the mumbling way he performs his own songs)
One of the best live performances ever! Very very few artists can perform with this kind of talent in a live performance.
Yes so glad you did this there are a lot of Pearl Jam fans out there including myself so please check out some more of their music you should definitely check out Jeremy the official video first and then the live MTV version it's based on a true story and Eddie as always puts such emotion in everything he sings also great reaction
This song made me feel SO MUCH PAIN when I was 15. I STILL can’t listen to it without crying...I was almost there and your reaction brought me back and made me laugh my ass off.
His voice is like a manual transmission car.
Lol omg, nice comment.
Smooth as eggs 😜Dave Chappelle
His voice is absolutely soulful perfection.
Why is I can't remember what I done yesterday but can remember a song from years ago haha
Haha! Octave-pus! That's amazing! He really is though. Awesome channel by the way.
"Let that girl go, she got you trippin" 🤣🤣🤣 but man on the real tho, vedders voice is gold. This live version definitly gives ya goosebumps. Dude ur alwaya crackn me up late at night when my man trying to sleep. Il literally let our loud laugh and had to quit down so i dont wake up..he totally moved around like he heard me..he still snoring tho. Its all good 😜😝
That was a close call 😂😂😂
@@MrVideo123 hahahahaha yah happens alot..then the next day i have to play him what i was laughing at..he usually gets a good laugh too 😝🤣 are u on IG?
Eddie has one of the best voices of all time.
You interpreted this perfectly.
Yooooo that note you hit was way too good. That shit caught me off guard 😳
I showed my mum this version of the song and when it finished she just said, "Simp"
He always absolutely feels what the song is about. Wonderful voice. Your review was spot on!!
"Sheets of empty canvas, LAY spread out before me, as her body once did" 😆😆
"And now my BITTER hands, cradle broken glass, of what was everything"😆😆
Great reaction
And like the other comments: You should do some singing, you really got something going on there.
This song should come with a warning.
I remember when it first came out.
If it catches you in the wrong kind of mood, it can get under your skin and FUCK.YOU.UP.
Great live performances like this are done by the most talented.Unplugged and live takes far more talent.I love it.
Couple of things; you actually have a great singing voice. People have said this before, but it's true. This Unplugged session is legendary. The whole thing is about 30 minutes and i can guarantee that if you react to every song or the entire session people will flock to watch. Also, the other big grunge acts of the day with amazing Unplugged sessions that are a must see is Nirvana and Alice in Chains. PLEASE react to Nirvana Unplugged, Where did you Sleep Last Night. Lastly, this song obviously was written about a real relationship but you'll be happy to know he's been happily married for some time. 😌 Please, Please also react to Pearl Jam live at Pinkpop. The song is Porch and the whole performance is nuts. They didn't call him Crazy Eddie for nothing. 😛
I love your interpretation of the song, I haven't thought of the girl having messed up his life until now -- to me everything turning black was the result of not having her anymore.
Awesome video!!
