Exactly! I really don't like it when ppl claim not to see color as if that's a 'good' thing... when there's absolutely nothing wrong w/seeing color.... the problem occurs when "seeing color " causes you (general you) to discriminate or practice racism.
As an asian person, who tf cares if anybody sees color. That’s a part of their identity, and you can’t just not acknowledge it because of your fear of being racist. At any rate I like his raw honesty and his ability to reflect on his own flaws in his autobiography.
