Your Mom seems so sweet and you both favor a lot. How nice of Flexispot to give your Dad a cool chair, that could be a big game changer for someone that has a hard time standing from a sitting position. I loved the eye painting those came out great! I also love that Hippo! can't wait to make that hippo! soooo cute! TFS!!!❤
😊 Thank you so very much for your sweet comment. I'm so blessed to have my mom's support and the chance to work with her. I appreciate you watching and supporting my channel. Have a wonderful day.
Hi April, I so enjoyed your video today, It had such a variety of makes and everyone so beautiful, you are such a talented lady. The Hippo Plushy looks fabulous and the embroidered eyes are ace. I think it would even be good with no stuffing like a mama mini and such a cute size. I was so envious of you spending time crafting with your mom. I used to have such lovey afternoons with my mum. That nice easy comfortable feeling of sharing space together. And yes I remember being like Christmas fairies with the glitter by the time we were finished. We found that it helped if you got a sheet of copier paper, folded it in the middle and used the glitter over the top of it. When you were finished with the glitter your can just give the paper a tap to gather the glitter into the crease and use it like a funnel to put the unused glitter back in the container....hope this helps. The blue eye looked amazing. And didn't your dad look the bee's knees in his state of the art Rolls-Royce chair. It's a game changer. love hugs n mushy stuff xx Sheila PS was your boy playing the interlude tune? It was cool and well worth the practice sessions 🤣😂
Hey Sheila! Thank you so much for your comment. I do appreciate my mom. She is my best friend. We talk pretty much every day. Her and I share the crafty gene, and she has always loved helping me at the markets since the very beginning. I will never forget all of the time she has given me. Thank you for the glitter tip! My dad loves his chair. He hugged me when I left and said, "Every time I sit in it, I will think of the nice thing you have done for me". Oh, and my son... I hope he becomes a famous musician someday, LOL. That's his dream! I love supporting his passion even if it drives me crazy. It makes it hard to film sometimes, lol.
I loved the rainbow eyes! I think they would be perfect for a unicorn stuffie. I am so glad that your dad got that chair. My mother is a similar one and she loves it. Her great grands also like to sit on her lap and press the buttons, and of course she lets them. 😂 i liked all the eyes, but the rainbow ones were my favorite.
Thank you so much! The eyes were so fun to make! My dad hugged me and said he would think of me every time he sat in his chair. I appreciate your comment and your support more than you know!
@@thecozybuckeye You are very welcome. I have learned so much from you and I have crocheted for 30 years. I am just now starting to make plushies and I’m learning to embroider eyes and you are a fabulous teacher and easy to listen to. Sometimes I just listen to you while I crochet. If you sell the painted eyes you and your mom do I would love to buy some. My mom was my inspiration for learning to crochet long ago. I self taught myself and then taught her how to read a pattern. Your mom reminds me of mine. ❤️
Love the eyes - they turned out gorgeous! What size did you make? What a blessing the chair will be for your family! Thank you for opening your home and family to us and allowing us to get to know you a bit more. Love all your behind the scenes footage just as much as your small business and crochet footage. Hugs for your Mama heart! ❤️ We dropped my son off for college 2 years ago and it was one of the hardest days. I stayed strong until we started pulling out of the parking lot without him and then I broke. Such an emotionally confusing thing lol. But good news is he is starting his 3rd year and he has made great friends and has his own little life living there full time this year working and growing into such a cool human! It’s now fun watching him do his own thing. So hugs to you! First year is the hardest, but they always come home and that time is even more special!
It is a weird feeling for sure. Thank you for sharing your experience. It does help for me to hear it. I know my daughter will be fine. She is an independent woman, and she has been since she was 2 years old, LOL. I have just spent so much time worrying about her with her Crohn's diagnoses. It's hard when you watch your kid suffer.

Hello in Portugal. I currently only have a few for sale. My goal is after the fall markets I'm going to start focusing on writing and publishing my patterns. I have designed so many gems over the years.

Question: When you do a market, what happens with the Etsy listings? I just started my shop and was worried about selling an item twice, at market and on Etsy. I heard you are to avoid putting your Etsy shop on vacation.
I have my square connected to my Etsy shop. I then just do an in-person sale and manually type in the amount. I write what I sell on a notepad during the market. Hope this helps.
Hi, I have been an avid viewer of your channel since the getgo and always enjoyed your content. However I was horrified to hear you refer to yourself as a “spaz” at a show, now I’m the mother of 4 special needs children and 2 of my grandchildren are also additional needs, I’m in the uk so for context can you please clarify what you meant by this because here that is a totally derogatory term used to describe someone with additional needs or someone with a physical disability. I find it hard to believe that in todays day and age someone would use this term to even describe themselves being dis fictional, distracted, out of sorts.
@@Tracyscraftingcorner I’m so sorry if this term is offensive that is not my intention. I am never a person who tries to be mean hearted. For me it is used as a verb meaning some one who looses emotional control. If I sell out of all of my items I would be very upset and stressed out for my markets that are remaining. One thing I can appreciate is learning from others and I am thankful for you bringing awareness to me regarding this term. I will NOT use it in the future. Just wanted to add …I also have a child with a disability and this term as far as I’m aware in the US in my 46 years I’ve never heard it used to describe someone with a disability. So again thank you for bringing this to my attention as I know I have viewers in the UK and I absolutely do NOT want to be offensive. Thank you for your comment.

If you used a more heavy duty clear varnish type you could probs put the eyes through the washer. Maybe , just a thought.
