Prolly one of the weirdest games I've played on PSVita is Dream Club Zero Portable. It's basically a Japanese hostess bar game, a dating sim of sorts. Funnily enough, I actually bought my Vita solely because of that game. As a person who pretty much only plays those type of "weird" games I'd want to see more of those games on Switch since Vita has so plenty!

Always wondered why there was a game based on my favorite condiment, but never heard of these other games. I thought the Dead Or Alive series was a bit risky, but these games are something else. The Private Carrera hidden character on the Original Tony Hawk Pro Skater did it for me when I was in middle school. Pervy Sage on Naruto and Old Perv Master Roshi, were on a couple of my favorite shows growing up. Maybe I can finally take advantage of the ForceLang plugin I just installed earlier this week thanks to your content. Keep up the Great work.

Gal Gun Double Peace : The only shooter I like since it doesn't involve burly 'Murican Army men enforcing 'the American way' on other people. I'm just scared of the amount of touching the screen will do to my Vita's screen protector film in the long run...
Yo if you want a game that includes guns but without it being a game like killzone then you should play danganronpa, danganronpa is a series of murder mystery novel games about you being locked up in a school called hope's peak by a murderous teddy bear and he tells that the only way to get outta here is by killing someone

Well, if we talk about ''weird'' PS Vita games, I've played several Neptunia games, Senran Kagura: Estival Versus, Valkyrie Drive -Bhikkhuni-, Drive Girls, Persona 4: Dancing All Night (because of the story and some outfits, one could say), Mary Skelter: Nightmares (more or less), and the Xblaze games (again, more or less).
I guess I won't play the PS Vita versions of Monster Monpiece, Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed, Bullet Girls: Phantasia and the original Criminal Girls. If I ever play those games, it's going to be with another platform.
I'll have to do a part 2 someday :)

No one mentioned Conception 2 yet? The one where you 'make out' with fellow female classmates to create party members for dungeon crawling. I tried the demo and was having a bit of fun while learning its battle system and the Star Children system too.

Is it sad that I have all of them except the Mayo game? Also, I would like to add the Genkai Tokki games (Monster Monpiece, Moe Chronicles, etc.), Criminal Girls, maybe Bullet Girls, DoA Xtreme 3, Punch Line, Valkyrie Drive and the Senran Kagura series. It helps that my Vita games are now next to my computer.

I feel like the Conception series should get an honorable mention: Basic RPG expect you, "God's Gift" need to "Class-mate" with the women/girls around you in order to create a team to save the world.... Yep totally normal.

@@XKurrA It looks like the first game came out in 2012 and not on Vita (the second was). There was a recent re-release and an anime which has the same art work as the re-released game.

The closest thing i've done to that is playing Dead or Alive Paradise on my PSP Go (still, it's a game playable on the Vita, so i guess it counts?) at a pizza & cafe place. I was alone in the shop while playing, no other customers around... but still.

The pigeon dating simulator game Hatoful Boyfriend beats all of these except the Mayo one, because well, I don't think you can top that.
Others that I've played that may raise eyebrows are Akiba's Trip, Atelier (if you're a guy, yes people are gonna think it's weird), criminal girls, monster monpiece, ...
What I find odd is how something like South Park is completely acceptable by most of the mainstream public, when it contains several scenes that are objectively tasteless crap under the guise of satire. (still like the games, though)

I ordered and imported the physical Moe Chronical not knowing what Moe ment (I thought it was the main character's name, and the website I ordered from didn't have any English description.), So I bought it because I love dungeon crawling games.
I enjoyed the game... ... but it's an acquired taste that took me 3 years to develop to finish.
I grabbed the Switch remastered version recently, and look forward to having time this winter snowed in at home to get to the sequel that was almost translated to English for the Vita.
I kickstarted Muv Luv based on the strong recommendation of the Vita forum.
I haven't gotten to the 3rd game yet. The physical Vita games are sealed, so I never played them, but I did play the steam versions. *(I don't play many games on my 12 year old PC much.)
In my opinion Muv Luv was one of the best visual novels on Vita!

I haven't played the ones you listed. I don't think I've really heard good things about them.
I haven't finished, but I've put quite a few hours into Dungeon Travelers 2 and Valhalla Knights 3. I've finished Senran Shinovi and Bon Appetit, as well as HDNR;B 1 (I didn't expect to like it and wouldn't have wanted to be caught playing any part of it) but the weirdest, and probably most mainstream of the weird games, I've played a bit of (meaning many, many hours) is Sword Art Online Hollow Fragment.
Come on, that game, and it's Engrish translation, is just bizarre but did well enough that they remade it for PS4 and Windows and brought over the sequels. Sure it's based on a popular anime but still, the "Don't cheat, daddy" trophy and related mechanics exist. It's also published by Bandai Namco instead of one of the smaller typically niche publishers.
That last one sounds like a great idea!
I thought nothing of it when I whipped out the vita while I was sitting next to my parents on a plane. I was playing persona 4 when I realized with horror that I almost opened the door to Rise’s boss battle. 😱😅🙃

I've actually played all these games except the first one... Weird. I don't even know why I keep playing the mayo game, I guess you could say that once you tap, you can never go back. Gal gun on the other hand is poorly optimized. I get around 20 fps normally and the only way to get it to stable 30 is to overclock

I played the Valkyrie Drive nude mod, in public, making sure to get to 4th drive, luckily I just use v.lux or vflux or whatever it was called to dim my screen all the way and wore headphones lol.
