- Follow my epic adventure on the 2012 Gumball 3000 Rally from New York to Los Angeles, coast to coast across the United States and Canada. I joined Team Habibeez and their Rolls Royce Drophead, 2 Ghosts, McMerc SLR and Mercedes GL450 support car for the incredible journey.

Yes and I pieced it together in a fun way, shortening out and cutting certain clips that wouldn't flow while making it an overall more exciting movie to watch.

There was a VW Beetle in the 2013 Gumball 3000. All cars can enter, not just expensive cars
ducka0f Let's be honest if their aren't any regulations on what your car is then ppl will show up in Renaults and Nissan Leafs (before they run out of charge) Anyway Mustangs aren't that good looking (in my opinion).

If people paid the entry-fee, they could turn up in a Nissan Leaf or a Renault. Gumball is not about the car - it's about the trip the cars make

Hit the link in the description to my Gumball playlist, every single clip in this video can be found elsewhere without music and then you can hear everything. Although in theory the music should always be quieter when cars make noises so you can enjoy.
They aren't paintjobs, they are vinyl wraps to protect the paintwork to drive 3,000 miles in convoy with other cars flicking up stones and on rubbish roads. They make it more fun for the trip and then come off afterwards.

A wrap is only £1-2,000 or so depending on what's done so most people just pay for it as it will also protect the paintwork underneath from a lot of road damage on such a long drive.
It's the best event there is, by a very, very long way.

Wraps are just stickers put on for the rally, they also have the purpose of protecting the car's paintwork underneath from the damage cause by driving so far on imperfect roads; stone chips etc.
I'm sorting out how to make it downloadable for other people, stay tuned on Facebook for more news on that.

There is an element of that, but a lot of it comes down to 2 things; firstly being in the USA and driving on straight highways there's not much to do, and secondly being in Rolls Royces would never give the most sporty look on the event!
This year the base entry is £30,000 for a car with 2 people; of course it then costs an extra £15,000 or so for insurance and other car costs before you go to the parties...

There were actually lots of Dutch teams on this year's rally, maybe 7 or 8 cars.
Now this video calls for subscription. I have watched your videos before about the super cars in London but this takes it to next level. It must have been fun. Enjoyed every bit of it.
It wasn't even the car I was in that had the flat, but not that much you can do because imagine carrying spare front and back tyres for every car - where would you even begin to put them!

They have already announced that it will go from London to Moscow via Monaco for the F1 Grand Prix and Eastern Europe.
It's not actually a race or everyone would just drive flat-out and it would become stupid. The top prize is the 'Spirit of the Gumball' which was won by Charles Morgan and his wife, driving in a Morgan 3-Wheeler! It's an awful lot of fun though.
Some people do take a support car, but obviously you can't carry everything, you just have to balance out the risks of various things happening.

Next year's has confirmed already to be back in Europe! The rally will again start in London and end in Moscow going via the Monaco F1 again.
Shmee has definitely been the best source for the Gumball happenings in 2012.

Next year the base fee is £30,000 for a car of 2 people, but double that to include reasonable expenses.
Personally I love driving my R8 across Europe, I'll be 'vlogging' a trip in a few months around some of the car manufacturers and best roads - should be fun!
