I'm hoping to watch this movie on Sunday night in the city of Tacoma. I remember when I lived in old Louisville near the U of L campus and how it was becoming gentrified. Many of them were suburban Blake's and Becky's who relished in their priviledge.
@@GeronFletcher Greetings again brother. I wanted to refer a movie to you that I feel didn't get enough attention. It's called "IF BEALE ST. COULD TALK". It's about black love. The soundtrack is just as beautiful as the movie. Watch the preview for it on UA-cam.
Lol you mean what started happening like 15 years ago? I grew up in SF and will never be able to again. Wouldnt want to anyways. Not san francisco anymore
brandon zhang The filmoe is still very black and mexican and working class. Working class white neighborhoods in SF have been gone for decades though probably cause of white flight or whatever
brandon zhang Sad seeing the mission like that. It honestly enrages me seeing only manbun having rich kids walking past chicano murals of lowriders n shit
@@BucketPukes1969 im currently a college student and i often think back to wut my mom asked me, where i wanna live when i grow up, honestly i really wanna stay in bayview. I'm not black, rather im chinese but still, this place was where i grew up, and this diverse community is one that i want to live here with.
Tommy Cruz I'm sure you will feel right at home there you would probably make chairman of the butt pirate commission in the Sodom and Gomorah capital of the world.
Not really homelessness has increased, home ownership is down and most people pay to rent rooms, people aren't friendly, drug use has gotten worse but yea in your mind it has gotten peaceful 🤣 Oh and forgot to mention all the natives who truly built San Francisco no longer lives in San Francisco it's become more of a foreign enclave.
The last black man? They may not be living in San Francisco but they know their way to the Sunset district, Chinatown, and Neiman Marcus. Be honest, when you see a few young blacks walking toward you on a quiet street at night what would you think about them? Why? How come? What happened? These are the important questions.
I saw this last night. It was a great movie! It's a must see!
all you techies and transplants needa watch this movie and see what yall are inadvertently doing.
Careful! The colonizers are getting offended and denying their priviledge.
They could care less....
They know. They just deny everything in public, a tradition of rich America
People keep denying it but there is so much gentrification in the city and it is changing the city so much
BeautyGlow Shine who denied that and how is that even possible?
The cold part is nothing will ever change for us this is happening all along the west coast from Seattle to San Diego
Looks Perfect!!!!!
I can’t wait. I hope it’s shown here in Louisville Kentucky. I feel like it will.
Alright brother Louisville represent. I'm from Louisville, Klantucky too. I currently live in Washington state.
Bro.Allen stay up man! I saw it’s finally coming out here this weekend at Baxter theater

Bro.Allen oh I know. Now they’re trying to take the west end. They’re tearing down Beecher terrace right now to build up lofts for people with money

only places that feel like sf now are places like bayview and the mission district, even those places now are starting to see some gentrification
Agreed, but most of the mission is hipster-land too now

Where'd Danny Glover grow up?
Fillmore
Cole Valley, right next to The Haight
Sounds like San Francisco is a quiet and peaceful city to live
Sounds like you forgot to get your Klan robe out the cleaners, asshat😬
