*Looks very good. If I could suggest only one thing is to use D rings instead of O rings. O rings easily damage whatever is in the binder, while D rings are safer.*
Possibly if you make it with two layers and some sort of hard board in between. I made this for a friend because he wanted to be able to roll it and quickly stick it in his bag during outdoor activities.
Missed out on a perfectly good opportunity to call it a leather trapper keeper. Ha ha. Your stitching looks so good! I don’t usually hammer my stitching. Do you feel that it helps?
Bruce A. Ulrich haha. True! I can still edit my title. 😆 I like to flatten out the stitching because I don’t have a stitching groover. And it also makes the stitching look a little thicker.
Shaunice Boyd I used a piece from a rustic double shoulder I bought at Tandy Leather. For the inside, those pieces came from a remnant bag from Michaels. Thanks for watching!
Ok that's pretty awesome even the metal ring hardware is wrapped in leather 👌
Love this so much! Thanks for all the good ideas. Buy one for $90 or make one from leather scraps…I’ll make one.
Thanks!
Thank you! 🙏🏽
