I made a few of these a few weeks ago, and I want to point a few things:
use a tube or any cylindrical shape object on the neck of the bottle when it's getting dry, so the mouth of the bottle is a perfect circle so it won't leak.
Use any old tea pot to melt wax in it, so it's much easier to handle when pouring it inside the bottle.

6:07 excellent craftsmanship. I'm making leather wine glass covers 6x6in squares. Should I do this same process and coat both sides of leather pieces with beeswax?

No I don’t think a balloon 🎈 will work … not strong enough … and good idea to make the cork when it’s wet

No I added beeswax several times to be sure all the inner surface was sealed 🏕🔥🐕

A very good and interesting video, A question if I may? Iv'e looked on line and found bags of Beeswax pellets? would they suffice? and what amount would you in your experience suggest getting? Thanks for the great content in all your postings. KTF from Rhyl North Wales.👌
Thanks for your feedback and question Billy 😁👍🏻 and I’m glad you like my leather water bottle. If it’s 100 % beeswax it’s ok to use 👌🏻 and you have to use a lot of it
My guess is about 250 grams
It’s better to use more than less so you can be sure it’s filling all the gabs in the leather and making it waterproof 😁 Hope this helps my friend 🏕🔥🌲🐕

Why doesn’t the water leak between the threads?
First of all … it’s filled with beeswax inside and the stitch are also treated with it. So it’s completely waterproof

Just rinse it in cold water 😉
